No we cooked them in the slow cooker with a mix of tomato ketchup, jam, teruyaki sauce, Used tooth picks to eat after they were ready. Yes perogies are usually potato and cheese, maybe some bacon bits and onions in a pastry pocket. They can be boiled or pan fried. Served sour cream and usually some sauted onions and Ukarainian sausage. Good with cabbage rolls too.I had to google perogiesThe recipies seemed to be of a potato/cheese/&onion filling. Lil Smokies are sausages? Do you use them as filling?
They do sound good with bacon and onions.
I'm not a great beer drinker (unusual for a Qld girl). Did like Stienlager from NZ years ago. I wonder if they still make it?

Sorry it's been a while since I've been here last, life's been bit busy. Still so much to try and catch up on here in the Oasis...
