Time to fire up the coffee pot. I must go shopping today as I need a vegetable peelr as mine broke, Need veggies too as almost out of carrots.

here you only seem to be able to get packs of 3, unless you go for a heavy shiny thing that's heavy and 20 times more expensive. 3? Crikey! I've only got 2 effing hands!!!!

Then come over here Luv. Lay your head back on my chest and let me run my fingers through your hair. Sip your drink and close your eyes. It'll be all right. and alright too. massaging your temples and tracing your jaws and neck.

Oh yeeeees!!! I so need that. Loooong hours, persistant human termites and a leaky shop. Tension plus. Bloody great storm last night with loud thunder. I think I nearly deafened poor DB. for the wrong reason... ;)

Other than that we had a pearler of a day yesterday, 2 days take in one day!!! And I'm meeting some great people. :D

Now, Ox, pleeeeeease don't stop your magic therapy, my friend.

Potato Chips and Beer!!!

DOn't tell me...cheese pizza? Peparoni and onions over here!!

Did the stew tonight. Used red wine instead of water. Served over Mashed potatoes. Those pizzas sound good. Had a Yousaf Donner for lunch. It's like a Turkish Borrito.

Got a a new leather recliner today. Who wants to help christen it?:rose:

Tandoori Lamb Pizza!!!! Gotta love pizza.

I love my slow cooker. Throw it all in before work and it's ready when you get home. ;) And the house smells divine!!

Doner kebabs are great! There are so many flipping sauces, tho. Settled on chilli and homus for now.

Aw shucks, and here I was thinking I was making the Earth move

Really, though, darling I would have slept through a serious thunderstorm as exhausted as I am, for equally wrong reasons

2 effing trailerloads of effing tools delivered on the same effing day to squeeze into our effing tiny-assed effing warehouse made me too effing tired and effing sore to effing eff!!!

Eff!

Donair's and Gyro's are very popular here. The Donair Shop near the Navy base serves them with Halifax sweet sauce as many Navy guys are from Nova Scotia. I like it more tzatiki sauce on mine.

Why would anyone need three peelers? My last one was over 20 years old before it snapped.

Wow that is a good day.

Wow that is a good day.

Yeah it was. The very sad thing was that it was because the highway was closed. An accident. People shopping to pass the time til it opened.

had another today. This time right on the outskirts of town. I don't want to hear thedetails, in case it's a local. Lots of sirens and the rescue chopper. I'll find out soon enough.

It's been raining for DAYS. These morons still insist on speed and dangerous manouvers. It takes a toll on our rescue workers and volunteers, too.

Gone long time ago.

It's ok, Doc. We'll just order more!!! Pizza, our favourite tipple and the relaxing waters of the Oasis. Perfect! Any more takers before we order? More for you, Goddess?

Oh, and Ox can bring in his new lounge.

Aye I can do that. We moved the old one into my office, so the dogs can have it all to themselves.

Thin crust, pepperoni, onion, REAL green pepper and extra cheese please. And it has to be from Jesters or Double D's. None of the big chains do 'em right. Not a big fan of Papa Johns.

Goddess, I grew up on Gyros. Most of the greasy spoon diners in my home town were owned by Greeks ad a lot of them folks were friends with my Dad. There is nothing funnier than being in North Carolina behind some Southerner ordering a JY Row. The guy at my favorite place at Bragg would grin a little, then I'd get up and ask for a yeeroh. In "The New Story" the love interest is a Greek Princess that makes Gyro and eggs for the Hero. I use a Greek friend of mine for an inspiration. Her Parents own the restaurant that my folks go to for breakfast all the time.

Tresk, ya should see them drive in the snow here. Just as freakin bad.

Let's see what we can do to condition the leather on this recliner, hey!! probably needs some friction to warm it and some oils or fluids to lube it. Then a lot of more back and forth friction.....

That happens everywhere. We have some bad sections around here were people don't watch the speed on turns etc. Logging truck rolled earlier in the week causing delays.

The best Donair's around were at a Pizza place owned by Chinese. The other places started using premade strips of meat and they were still using the real Greek way. Also bigger with cheese and tomato's and extra sauce. Used to be open until 4am so they got all the people starving when nothing else was open.

Time for some Joe to wake me up. Watched my new dvd purchase last night. The Sand Pebbles. That is sitting next to The Great Escape for the start of my Steve McQueen section. I know I am lacking lol. Sand Peppbles still stands up since the last time I saw it in High School. Long yes but I like long movies that tell a story.
I see President Carter said in an interview Argo is a good movie but it's not telling the truth lol. That definately wasn't on my watch list after hearing former Canadian Ambassdor in Tehran Ken Taylor wasn't too impressed and Carter's thoughts just sealed the deal.
