Desert Rose's Oasis

I inherited this paylist on my work poota, It has everything from Florence and the Machines to the Beetles on it. Plays for hours. I really like it. Some of the artists are not who I would normally pick but the mix works really well.

Hope your dip was warmer and lots of people made it. Or is that tonight? It's St Paddy's evening here.

Hot tub was nice and hot. Then a dip in the pool to cool off.

Are we talking about Shillelagh like the club or Shillelagh like the missile? I used to load those back when I was on Sheridans. Goddess, I think you'd rather kiss the gnarly club with a big head and ridges, than 3 and half feet of steel that's 152 mm in diameter and has 15 pounds of RDX explosive, a guidance unit and 2 or so pounds of propellent. But it is long, round and smooth, and fits nicely in the right hole.

My family had shillalagh as walkin sticks. They could be used well enough for whackin someone with the heavy end. My friend Paddy (Patrick) broke his when we were in high school and it was considered really bad luck. Superstitious lot.

Maybe some of that piped in Relaxation music with bells and chimes and running water and zithers. Wonder if we can import a messues and do the hot rock thing and deep tissue massage.

I have deep and abiding respect for all shillalagh that cross my path. Athough bows? Not so much.

Had the worst backache yesterday. The type where y'can't turn the old noggin. Took a few doses of painkillers and antiinflammatories for it to settle to a dull roar. Woke up fine!? Makes no sense. So hot jets in strategic places sound gooooood!!! The hot rock thing sounds divine. *sigh*

No muzac, please. Real musicians and real instruments no matter what the style. Relaxin for the massuese and rockin for the poolside party with Doc.

The frisky you is still there, Sweetie. Just bogged down a bit, is all. Just keep depression at bay. Lotsa vitamin b helps, too.

The worst it got here was livin in 2 caravans with no running water or electricity. But we survived. The kids have much fonder memories of it than I do!!! I'm only just starting to recover financially, but we stayed together. I'd do it again if I had to, but prefer not. They're young for such a short time.

It DOES get better. It gets easier to laugh and let go. And the ride gets better and there'll be more 'you' time.

Meanwhile, drop back in and get your frisky back!!!!

I miss Trixie, too. And Spicy hasn't been on lit at all for a long while. Maybe her hubby got posted. FS plays elsewhere these days.
