G'day, Ox,
We're just heading into Autumn. Yo-yo weather. All the trees are, so far, stubbornly refusing to change colour. A few have usually yellowed by now. I'm with them. I'm holding on to warm thoughts for as long as possible. We had a 18 month winter before this summer. We some how missed the summer before.
I love the four seasons and winter is beautiful, but by the time spring is due, I'm over it. And no nudey me in that cold! Blue is not my colour.

I inherited this paylist on my work poota, It has everything from Florence and the Machines to the Beetles on it. Plays for hours. I really like it. Some of the artists are not who I would normally pick but the mix works really well.
Hope your dip was warmer and lots of people made it.
Or is that tonight? It's St Paddy's evening here.

We miss our Rosie, too. I'm starting to wonder if her last name is Godot.......
She pops in now and again. When she's not workin so hard we'll see her more.
Meanwhile join us in the hot tub, or stretch out on a lounger in the pool or cabana. If we can find our obliging Cabana Boy, he'll get you a drink. Otherwise help yourself from the well stocked bar.
I'm headin for the hot tub and a Glennfiddich. Although I could be tempted by a nice warm Brandy tonight.

I wish I could say that things are getting better and I'll be here more often, but sadly that's not the case. I'm not going to divulge the details, as the Oasis is a happy place and that would only bring it down. Suffice to say that every time I get up, life seems to kick me back down again.
I guess the only good thing is that I keep on getting back up, right? Honestly, if I could, I'd go back and take my name off the sign because it's not really MY Oasis, it's everyone's. You awesome people are the ones who make this such a special place, not me.

You keep bouncin back woman, y'hear! The day will come when the last kick has landed and a hand is there instead (or at least a handrail. ) That's the day we all hang on for when the goin is tough.
