With the influx of Bagali and indian workers we have been eating a lot of Curry and Bin-something, rice and lamb. Not bad, but I do miss a good Gyro. So if the Donner dudes adn Gyro Guys use the same stuff what is teh real difference then? A turk and a Greek? that's about it as far as I can tell.

Yes, Miss Triske we can move to the Hot tub. Hard hot jets on the hips and lower back for this old Scout. Plenty of THE Glenlivet too if you please. And two of the hottest women left at the oasis to warm up the water too!!:D
Don't tell that to the Turks and Greeks lol but yes the food and drink is close. Oozo and Raki are the same. Had some great food in Turkey.

We eat a lot of lamb here, too. Especially in spring. Didn't see much of it in Ga. We don't lean to turkey as much as you guys do though. Just at Christmas, so it's appearing now. I remember when I was a kid my mother cooked this roast turkey that was soooo good. It was covered by a mudpack of spices.

It was from an international cookbook and on the opposite page was how to dress and cook a monkey! The Mighty Mo couldn't cope and had to cover that page with a teatowel.

Lots of scotch tonight. Day back at work was a shitfight and I found out my boss has resigned. buggar it! So am searching for a new one. I love this one but I get paid just less than full time and work twice the hours. And this boss acts as a filter. Looking at possibilities tomorrow. Wish me luck! :)

Warm up the water, Ox??? We'll get it boiling! ;)
Lamb is harder to find then when I was a kid. There are some good local lamb but you have to go out of the way to buy it. Most places sell New Zealand or Australian lamb. It comes in frozen.

Should I wear a tight shirt and leather jeans?

You only need to wear a smile papa :)

OK, Floaty table, water proof cards and A five gallon jug of margaritas with four tubes coming out of it. I was out at 0430 this morning and it's Cold here now so I get the HOT Jet and the heated side of the tub. Papa Doc you can be my partner so that you get a chick on either side of you.

Don't let C4C see your cards. And just keep telling her you're looking at her boobs not her cards;)
Ok ladies what's the opening bid?

Girls against the guys I see.. I don't need to cheat Ox, I have been playing this game since I was 10...and ya...don't do the math on that...lol

Ox do they play Euchre in Michigan? Only know people from Ontario who play.

That's where all the good players are goddess.:D

Hey, Guys n Gals. :rose:

Hope everyone is happy and healthy.

I'm trying to cope with being punished for having a terrific holiday, my car breaking down and severe weather patterns.

I'll just lower myself into the hot tub s l o w l y.........................

and try not to spill my scotch.

Glad to see the sassy Aussie is back. Things got way out of control on the over 40 page. Now it's Vintage 40 Prime. or something like that. Been a bit chilly here, lets sit in front of the jets and rub each others backs.

If you're car worked from the proper side it wouldn't break down as much. You all down under are fighting the carolis effect so, being former members of the Empire you SHOULD have your stuff on the left and drive on the right because you HAVE to be backwards or wrong way right to the Crown.
Not me sayin it, it's a law of physics, look it up. I'm just sayin.:rose:

You look very nice today Trisk.

Nah, Joe, I think it's wandering it's way down to a natural death. Most of us have been posting in an over 40's thread and the Oasis is seeing its energy ebb. Such is life.:(

Sorry, Ox. Have been trying to rest and recuperate. Life got way too full on and I had to pull back. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

I've got heaps of boobysquishinhugs to share :)

Got ticked off coz they closed the aussie thread, too. It was one of the oldest and now it just doesn't feel right. :(

Nice AV Triske.
Yeah life does that sometimes. Believe it or not I have a handful of other people's problems to fix too. Actually keeps me entertained. My boy should be leaving Savanna Soon. Didn't cut it for the Rangers so they'll kick him up the street to my old outfit the Paras in the 82nd.

I must be getting old. My cousin's son graduated Basic training as a Cavalry Scout Like me. He's going Airborne and will be in Germany about when I get back. My Old Gunner from the first time I was in Germany in 1989-92 had his son graduate from Airborne school last week. He is also a Scout and will be here in Germany too. These are all just things that happened with little or none of my involvement. The issues I am helping a young protege with are trickier and mostly out of my control to do anything but listen and give advice. She is a senior NCO and as she solicited me for help and advice and a letter of Character I find out that she has not one but three girl friends. Amazing. he lil' tart is batting for the other team and doing fine!! except that all three have managed to get her in trouble with the Army. Oh well.

How are you all doing? pretty quiet but with Triske back I know it will liven up a tad. May need to lay bread crumbs out to lure Goddess, C4C and some of the others back. I reckon Triske just needs to jerk her glow in the Dark rope and get DOH BOI back here.

Carry on. That is all.:caning:

Thank You, kind Sir. :)

I know how you feel about seeing the next gen fly their colours. I was able to talk to my friends' boy about passing the officers' board. It turned out that everything went as I said BUT much was on pootas! Everything was manual for me. He even did the map reading on the poota. He laid enough shit on me that I was shovelling for a week. I was so proud to see him graduate basic, but many looked so young! Meanwhile, 2 others are back from Afganistan, and finding girlfriends. And when I got off my butt to see where the old crowd was I was shocked to find that very few were still in. Mind you, I'm longer in the tooth than you are!

My nephew has left the army and just graduated from the police academy today. Many of them look like babies, too.

Your son will find his path. Where will he move too? Somewhere not as humid? I hope he is ok with his move.

I hope your multipartnered friend sorts her mess out. I doesn't matter what the orientation, relationships can be tricky things. 3? That's a whole mess of trouble waiting to happen! I hope she finds what she's lookin for. Meanwhile, there's an escape from boredom for you, in periods of inaction. :)

And what do you mean? Crumbs for the Goddess????? NO WAY! Nothing less than a skinny dip in the oasis, then resting in the hot tub with good music, great grog and scantily clad cabana boys will do. :cattail:

Who likes mulled cider?? :)

I bought a great bottle of brewed cider last weekend. Just a bit sweet. I normally like dry. The sweet mulls better. A bit of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and hawthorne berry. Warming and tasty. It's summer here but the weather is yo-yoing all over the place. There'll be a cool night around Chrissy somewhere.

AHHHHH Big boobed red headed women. And Booze. In a hot tub. With Aussie and Canadian accents. My my how good could life be?

Hey Trisk, if one of your lads comes back a little pissy about us American Blokes yelling at him in the Gym,, yeah that was me. If ya can't control the weights all the way down yer doing it WRONG!!!!

Mulled cider? sounds good to me. Make a pitcher or two and We'll see who can get the drunkest!!
