Diablo 2(for the uninitiated, there will be, once again, guidelines)

Orenda

Orenda walked wearily into the encampment and sat down at the nearest fire, letting her head drop forward onto her hands. She had never felt so tired in her life. Her energy had been tapped time and time again and she had still failed in her mission.

She would still have to report to her order but she was going to finish this out first. However, she now needed a place to stay and rest to regain her energy. Standing, she looked around for one of her companions to ask where she would be able to get a tent so that she could do just that.

Eliah:

Eliah was on her way to her tent when she saw Orenda casting her eyes about. She apporoached the sorceress. "Orenda... Do you seek something that I might be able to help you with?" She asked as she held Orenda in her always intence gaze.

Orenda

Orenda smiled. "Simply a place to obtain a tent. I was not prepared to spend more than the trip here and back when I came therefore I am afraid I have none."

Eliah:

"I could share my tent with you... I use very little of it..." Eliah spoke quietly as she shifted her eyes to her tent. "If it would be suitable to you that is..."

Orenda

Orenda smiled gratefully at the amazon. She knew how private of a person she was and what it took to offer it to her.

"I would appreciate that," She said,"I simply need a place where I can rest and replenish my energies." She entered the tent indicated and sat down, putting her head on her arms which lay on her knees. She was weary and could feel it in her very bones.

Eliah:

With a nod Eliah watched Orenda duck into her tent. She then went to her stash. Pulling a vial of bluish tinted liquid out, replacing her bow as well into the trunk. She also pulled a leather pouch from the trunks depths. Closing the lid and locking it Eliah turned to walk back to her tent. She scanned the camp as she walked with purpose. Spotting the amazon that was speaking to Charsi, Ehiah nodded to her in recognition as she continued on to her tent. She ducked in and looked to Orenda, offering up the leather pouch and the blue vial to her without words.

Thorr

The party having reached the main camp safely, Thorr was ready to relax.
"Hokay! Ve have ale!" Turning to the crowd of giggling virgins, he calls to them: "Who wants to be rescued first?!"

It was a deed that should have gone into the annals of legend. Mighty Thorr would not rest, could not rest, until every single one of these poor girls was permanently assured of never being kidnapped by evil sorceresses for the power of their virgin blood again. Girl after girl, keg after keg, the barbarian hero did his duty. Finally, at dawn, the wild-eyed warrior staggered out of his tent. "No more virgins?" Seeing nothing but the lone sentry, who just stood there gaping at the bare-assed barbarian, Thorr shrugged, picked up the last keg of ale, and staggered back into his tent.

Moments later, a resounding thud and crash shook the encampment, only to be followed by the deep profundo-basso rumblings of Thorr's snoring.

Orenda smiles gratefully at Eliah again and takes what is offered. Drinking the liquid as she figures Eliah wishes her to do, she lays down and falls into a blessedly dreamless sleep.

Alic walked over to a large group of trees and put his bedroll down and put his armor, sword and other belongings down onto it. He then walked away from his gear and walked over to a large group of trees then knelt down and began to meditate as he had used up a lot of energy during this trip. For several minutes he knelt there so still that to anyone passing it would have looked as though he was dead.

Suddenly his eyes opened and he got to his feet then walked out of the trees and ran his right hand over his belongings then walked towards the inn and grabbed a table. He was starved and he didn't care what he ate right now as long as he ate. Suddenly a serving woman walked up and asked him what he would like and he asked her if there was anything that he could eat. She walked off and after less than a minute appeared with a plate in her hand. Alic looked at the food and gave her a silver coin then began eating what was on the plate.

Eliah:

Taking her cot as Orenda falls to slumber Eliah lays her tired form down, facing away form Orenda. Tears, bitter tears stream down her face as she too surenders to sleep. Her sleep is haunted by trinity though. The young girls eyes were on her, accusingly as, in the dream she is brutally gutted. Her shrieks ring in Eliah's ears as they form words. "You let his happen to me! You let me die!!!" Eliah shook in her sleep. Trinity, her stomach slit open, walked stiffly toward Eliah in her dream. Again Eliah shook, she found she was chained, as she was in the countess's dungeon. Trinity spoke again and blood flowed from between her lips to coat her chin with its thick, bubbling, ichorish appearance. "Now its my turn..." The words were a gurgle as more blood seeped from between Trinity's lips and down along her chin. Standing directly in front of Eliah, Trinity produced a slim, viscious blade, and without fan fair plunged it into Eliah's stomach.

Eliah screamed, waking with a start, setting up, her hands immediatly flew to feel the flatness of her stomach.

Alic looked up at the scream and wondered where it was coming from. He got to his feet and rushed out of the inn to see if there was any trouble but the first thing that he saw was that everything was quiet. He turned and walked back into the inn and wondered what else was going to happen this night.

When he got to the inn he saw the the serving woman was about to take his plate of food but he stopped her and as soon as she put it down he asked her for a mug of water. She looked at him with a questioning look and after he asked again she walked off and got his water for him. As soon as she put the water down he handed her another silver piece and put his hand over the water and murmured the words to a prayer, blessing the water. As soon as that was done he took a sip of it and continued with his meal.

Orenda

Orenda sat up in bed, the amazon's screams ringing in her ears. Quickly, she moved to her side and grasped her shoulders trying to get Eliah to look at her-to focus.

"Eliah, its me, Orenda..wake up! Its just a dream, just a dream." That is until she looked down at the amazon's stomach and saw her hands covered in blood. "Oh, god," Orenda muttered as she pulled Eliah's hands from her stomach and looked at the wound. It was deep but she didnt think any vital organs had been hit.

Suddenly it hit her, the feeling about her. She hadnt noticed it earlier because she was so concerned about Eliah. It was magic-dark and evil. Somehow something had entered the tent and Eliah's dream and attempted to kill her.

Laying the woman on the cot, she assured her she would be back. Her magic did not extend to healing but she knew someone who could. Running from the tent, she grabbed one of the girls who had been rescued by the arm. By the devilished appearance of her, she doubted she could still be classed as a virgin. "The paladin," She almost shouted,"Have you seen him?" The girl pointed to the inn and Orenda sprinted for the building. She entered without much cerimony and ran right to Alic. "Eliah!," she said, trying to get the story out between gasps. "Alic, we need your help!"

Alic looked up from his plate and Orenda and when he saw the look on her face he said, "What is it. What's happened to Eliah?"

Eliah:

In shock, Eliah shook, her hands pressed to her stomach to cover the phantom inflicted wound. She was repeating over and over. "I killed her... I let her die... I... I... I..." She began to rock back and forth on her knees. A cold shiver ran up her spine suddenly and with what little logic was left in her mind Eliah knew Trinity was there in her tent. "Please forgive me!" Eliah cried out as she let herself fall forward onto her side, wrapping her arms about her stomach, tucking her legs upward, nearly in a fetal position. She continued to repeat her guilt over and over again. Her eyes going glassy as her blood quickly pooled onto her cot.

Orenda

Orenda put a trembling hand out toward Alec and noticed that it was covered with blood-Eliah's blood.

"She's hurt and there is some sorcery surrounding her. Someone or something came to her in a dream state and now she is wounded. I need you and your god to help me. I only have herbs to heal and she does not have the time to wait for them to work."

Siren awoke with a start sitting upright in her cot as the screams echoed through the night. She hurried out of her tent with her sword in hand thinking something was amiss when she noticed there was no threat to the safety of the camp she returned her sword then headed in the direction of voices. She noticed that the paladin and sorceress she had seen earlier were at the scene along with Eliah, she also noticed Eliah was bleeding. She hurried over "What happened? Is there anything I can do to help?"

Thorr

Battle-wired reflexes had Thorr up and running out of his tent, Giant-Cleaver in hand, before the echoes of the screams died away. Those reflexes took him to the tent that Elias and the young sorceress shared, where several people had gathered.

"Hokay! What I kill? Where evil things? Who scream?"

No one seemed to have time to pay attention to the barbarian's questions, so he paced outside the tent, watching carefully for something to slay.

Orenda

Orenda runs from the inn, Alec in tow and she is dismayed when she sees the crowd in front of the tent. Then her face brightens as she sees Thor and she runs up to him.

"Thor," She says, grabbing onto his arm,"I need to get Alec into the tent. Eliah has been hurt and he needs to heal her. Can you make me a path, big guy? I dont have time to explain things to everyone here."

Eliah:

She was fading, her blood was growing wan. Here eyes focused on nothing, staring into, and through the distance. She was dying. Shivering, repeating her blame for Trinity's death, her lips were slowing, going dry... She made sounds of pain as it surged through her. Whatever darkness was assaulting her would not relent, it was torturing her, calling her to join it in its hellish games... And she was growing weak to resist it...

Thorr

"Hokay. Thorr make path!"

A 300+ pound, 7 feet tall barbarian has no trouble with crowds. Charging forward and growling, the people gathered in front of the tent moved out of the way very quickly. Those few unlucky or slow enough to still be within arm's reach of Thorr were catapulted into the night with casual thrusts of his massive arms. Some of those pushed were armed warriors, but, once they realized who had done the pushing, none cared to make an issue of it.

Moments after the request, Thorr, Orenda, and Alic were inside the tent. "Help pretty lady, Alic? What hurt her? Tell me, and I kill."

As soon as Alic was inside the tent and saw all the blood he gasped. He didn't know if he could do anything but he knew that he had to try. He knelt down next to her and placed his hands on her body. Alic closed his eyes and asked for his god to give him the strength that he need and he was answered by the green blue nimbus that sprung up around his hands. He opened his eyes and saw that his healing magic wasn't having any effect and drew some power from himself to aid in the healing.

As soon as he tapped into his own energy he threw his head back and let out a silent scream as the nimbus glowed even brighter. Suddenly the wound that was in Eliah's abdomen began to close but something began to block Alic's healing and he forced more energy into it. He then heard a scream in his head and he fought it as he healed Eliah. As soon as he opened his eyes he saw that the wound on her abdomen was healed and that was the last thing that he saw before darkness took him and he fell to the ground.

Thorr

"What happening? What do I kill!!!?"
Thorr was near panic. His friends were being attacked by a force quite beyond his reckoning. There was just nothing for him to fight, and he knew not what to do.
"Morgoth!" He bellowed. "Evil magic shit here! Come fix!"
Thorr knew that Morgoth was well-informed on the topic of evil magic, and his help could be vital. Perhaps he could tell Thorr who to kill.

Orenda

"Thor," Orenda said, coming to his side and laying a hand on his arm once again,"We cant panic. They need us now and I need your strength. Okay?"

Looking at Alec and Eliah, she said,"The first thing we have to do is get them out of this tent. The magic here is too overpowering. We have to get them to the inn. Do you think you can carry them both? I am afraid of what will happen if we leave one or the other here. We will get Morgoth to come analyze what type of magic it is as soon as these two are safe."

At the scream, Morgoth sat up. He looked around for a second, and then charged out. He was only dressed in his breeches. He was still covered in sweat, indicating he had been having nighmares as well. He charged into the tent and looked at Eliah. "Hmmmm", he sighed. "You want me to identify this, I suppose?" he asked. Not waiting for a reply, he turned back to her. "Everyone but Alic, stand back", he said. When he saw that they hesitated, "Now!" he roared. It is not easy for a Necromancer to roar. But Morgoth had just done it. And it was more terrifying than any battle cry even Thorr could do. Morgoth put his fingers to Eliah's temples. HE began to chant, and a white mist enveloped her. She went down to the bed. He then reached inside her mind, and did a trace magic. He felt a huge presence of evil there. He looked around, for his soul now walked her mind. There were corridrs everywhere, and doors as well. He didn't open the doors, for they were her private emotions and memories. He saw a shadow running down a hallway, and chased after it. suddenly, out of nowhere, sprang Andariel. Or, at least, her mental version. She sunk a claw into Morgoth, and blood trickled down. On the real Morgoth, a cut suddenly appeared on his arm. He screamed in pain, then hit her in the face. She laughed, and suddenly started to grow. She became of huge proportions. Then suddenly it hit Morgoth. He dodged a strike from her. He raised his arms, and began to chant.
