Diablo 2(for the uninitiated, there will be, once again, guidelines)

Alic looked up at Thorr and said, "Then you are an idiot. If we do it your way then we are surely going to die and I for one do not want that to happen. I don't want to die until I kill that hag and whatever evil lives in these lands. Now, will you please calm down so we can plan what we are going to do."

Eliah:

Watching the hoards of marching evil off in the distance, Eliah peeked back at the others. "Take to a hiding place... I will draw a small number of them out, and draw them into a position where you might ambush them, singly..." She started to stretch her legs, limbering them up for a long chase. She was far too used to running, pausing, as shambling heards of dead and demons chased after her, to fire off a few true shots from Blastbark, then running off once more. It was an effective tactic for the most part, her still beating heart evidence to that. "If we can just thin the heard a little..." She muttered as she turned to face them all.

Alic

As he watched Eliah turn herself into bait Alic sat back and knew that he didn't like it one bit but he also knew that she was the only one that could do it as she was the fastest out of all of them. He watched as she ran towards a group of the undead abominations then turned around, the undead coming after her as she led them towards the group.

Thorr

"Idiot? Plan has worked for many and many of my people! Many have died glorious deaths like that!" The big barbarian sighs, "Where is glory in hiding? Still... if Thorr die now, Thorr not get chance at virgins later... Hokay. I hide."

"Will you please be quiet. Any one of those things could here you and come right for us then what type of chance would we stand then- slim to none."

Alic turned and watched as Eliah led a group of the undead creatures towards their location and slid his sword out of its sheath.

Thorr

Thorr turns to his paladin companion and whispers quietly, "Do I have to be quiet when I kill these things, too? Battle without screams and battlecrys just not the same!"

With scarcely a sound, the iron-thewed barbarian readys Giant-Cleaver, and assumes a hidden position, waiting for the signal to commence the slaughter.

"No... you can scream and holler all that you like then because they will be away from the main force. I will join you in screaming my lungs out when it comes time to attack them."

Morgoth grinned a terrible smile that hinted at the remorseless deaths he had carried out in the name of the Cult of Trag'Oul. He whispered a few words to himself. "Let Trag'Oul bless me as I carry put his bidding. Let Trag'Oul bless me as I cleave his enemies".

Eliah:

"Thirty of them... May the gods show us favor..." Eliah thought to herself as she caught the attention of a good portion of the damned. They gave a shambling chase, it was fairly easy to evade them, just the the constant pumping of her legs to keep those extra steps ahead so she coulc pause for a shot or two before bolting again was drawing her close to fatigue. "Just up over the ridge, come on, up over the ridge..." She breathed as she crested the hill, her party could see her clearly from their hiding places as she turned on them, light glimmered about her shoulders, and drifted from her to mark the whole lot of the walking dead with its radience. She turned again, and ran, drawing the horde up within ten feet of the waiting party members.

Morgoth finished the prayer and stood up, but not letting the damned see him. He pulled the blade free and admired it's edges briefly before fixing his attention to Eliah and the undead sprawled before the hill.

Alic got into a position where he could rush down and destroy the undead that were coming up the hill towards them. He looked down at Eliah and saw that she was near exhaustion and knew that if they didn't attack soon then she would fall and the undead would be on her in an instant. He looked over at Thorr and saw that the barbarian was just waiting to run head first at the undead and knew that he would let him go first as the undead would have little chance to escape with Thorr attacking them.

Morgoth switched to Bone Armor, and cast it. A second later, three sets of bone were flying around him. Then, he switched to Bone Spear, and prepared it.

Eliah:

Rushing past Alic's position, Eliah dropped to one knee, leveled blastbark and fired, A cloud of arrows sailed over Alic's head, three zombies fell, riddled with arrows. Eliah's body glimmered with a thick sheen of sweat. She didn't dare fire a shot like that again, not with Alic in potential danger from friendly fire now. She hoisted another arrow, purposefully firing it straight into the air, it arced through the air, honing in on one of the dead all on its own. Striking one of the undead in the throat, it ripped right through, and struck another behind it in the thigh. The dead horded in about Alic, Thorr, and Morgoth. Mostly... There were a few that shambled on past them, toward Eliah. Cursing to herself she began to fire as quickly as she could. Two dropped, and another, but still they kept coming, she was forced to move to avoid their reaching, groping hands. They moaned and howled. It was unnatural, and it made Eliah's stomach churn. Some of them, their skin so dessicated that it streached taught over their bodies, some were cut to shreads, some, their stomachs gashed open, their internals spilling out.

Trinity...

heard in the distance... the eerie cries of the undead.

Her arms and shoulders ached from being chained up for Goddess knew how long.

She attempted to flex her neck a little to relieve the tension. She felt so useless.

Every sound had her looking in fearful expectation at the cell door. Any moment it would open and signal the end of her life. Her mind churned as she attempted to consider her options.

She may be able to escape when they let her down. She'd be weak though... and stiff... she'd have to think and work fast. Lost in thought she didn't actually notice when the cell door finally opened.

Alic let out a shout as he rushed at the undead, Darksbane ripping into them and causing them to scream out. The enchanted blade of his sword ripped through the undead and caused them to fall to pieces. He then heard a shout and knew that Thorr was doing the same and with a smile stabbed one of the undead through the chest and threw it over his head just as an arrow flew past his head and hit another in the neck, causing it to fall to the ground.

Thorr

With tremendous shouts, and a battle-song on his lips, Thorr leaped into the fray! "Hey, Alic, save some for me!"

Thorr was a very happy barbarian, as his sword dripped with the ichor that ran through the undead's veins. Only minor scratches from the creatures could penetrate his armor, and Giant-Cleaver proved its mettle against undead hordes, as well.

Soon, the horde had thinned greatly.

"Hey, guys! Know the best thing about fighting these things? Their too stupid to know when to run! I hate chasing things down. Boring."

As Alic took the head off one of the undead creatures he shouted out, "Yeah. At least we don't need to go and hunt for them now. That is the worst part of doing this!"

He turned to see several creatures coming for him and with a shout slammed into them and began swinging his sword left and right, ripping them to shreds. As soon as they were dead he looked around for more and then saw several creatures moving towards Eliah.

As they got close to her he threw his sword through the air which hit one of the undead in the back and then flew through the air and hit another one in the back, causing it to fly off its feet and through the brush- Alic right behind it.

Eliah:

Forced to retreat, Eliah was tired, her legs burned. She ran the best she could then wirled about, firing a volly of arrows at her mindless pursuers. They very nearly looked like gruesome, walking pin cushions. She scanned the ridge, no more came over the hills crest, this was it, they seemed to be pulling through without a scratch. They were quickly turning into a force to be reckoned with, save for how her body burned, it wasn't bad though, the vigor of life rushing through her veins. It made her feel alive like so little else could. She slung Blast bark over her shoulder then, bringing out a spear, feathers and red dyed cloth fixed to eather end. the spear end was sharpened to a razor edge, with a wild growl she empaled the closest undead on its end, bringing it off its feet and flinging it, stuck on the end of the spear, over herself, it slipped off the end and slumped to the ground behind her in a pile of fouled flesh. It stayed still.

Alic walked out of the brush and picked up his sword then turned to Eliah and said, "It looks as if you could use some help milady."

She gave him a cold look and her thought it best not to say another word and stabbed one of the undead around them with his sword. He looked at them and shouted out before his sword began to glow and the undead looked at him. He ran straight at them and before any of the undead could attack him began to cut through their ranks.

Thorr

The barbarian giant strides through the gore-strewn battlefield. "By damn! These things stink! Die again, Hellspawn!" Turning around, looking for more volunteers to warm up Giant-Cleaver, he spots his friends, Eliah and Alic battling amidst a thick knot of undead.

"To the fray!" he shouts, happy to help with the fun.

With great arcs of his sword, slicing the undead like a scythe through wheat, he makes his way to the embattled pair. "Having fun yet?"

Morgoth fought with a fury, unmatched by normal mortal men, but neither his companions nor the undead were mortal. His poleaxe had barely felt the loathe of one undead before it had impaled itself in another. He ripped into them as if there were no tomorrow. Their internals spilled onto the ground. Heads were flying, and other limbs joined them. He let out a terrible war cry, and took off a Goatman's head. His Blood Golem fought with an uninhibited fury, with every hit, replenishing it's and it's masters stamina.

OOC: Let's use stamina instead of Life.

"This isn't exactly my idea of fun Thorr but at least we are killing them."

Alic cut into another group of undead and smiled as they fell to the ground. He then turned and tried to find another one to kill but he saw that there were no more. He grabbed one of the undead and wiped all the gore off his blade then slid his sword back into its sheath and said, "Okay, who is going to be the bait next or are just going to have to rush straight at them?"

Thorr

"Thorr has plan! Charge!" however, the barbarian must have learned a bit of caution in his life, as he did wait to look around to his companions to see if they would join him in his insane act.

Alic looked at Thorr with a smile and said, "I think that's the best thing you have said but it would probably be best to wait a while for Eliah to get her strength back, unless she would rather go right now."
