Easy. He was a Democrat. They knew they needed one.
So the sexists picked him over Hillary despite their racism?

Because they knew they needed him.

They picked Trump over Clinton in 2016 when it was no longer quite so obvious that they needed a Democrat.
Yea that was it.I'm sure the DNC stabbing them in the back and laughing at them smugly as they began a "fuck white people campaign" had NOTHING to do with with their total rejection of the DNC nation-fuckin-wide.

Not much, no.

Keep up the "Fuck white people, they are all racist!!" campaign......it's going to win you a LOT of elections.![]()
Not until we start it. Ain't happened yet.
How much Kool-Aid have you chugged?
Social justice (D) and their various special cause factions all regularly demonize the shit out of white people and men as racial/gender groups, on a regular basis. The apex of hate being pointed toward white men.
EVERY time they use the term "white privilege" or "male privilege" they do it.
No, they don't. Calling attention to the existence of white or male privilege is neither anti-white nor anti-male, it is merely pro-equality.

Prove the existence of white and male privilege.

Yea, they do.
It is anti-white and anti-male because it DIRECTLY implies that people of that race/gender have inherent privilege at the expense of others.
You might as well ask me to prove the existence of earth and water. If you say you can't see it for yourself, you're simply lying.
Actually, what I've seen in my industry before I retired was a constant effort to diversify newsrooms at the expense of quality.
I will say that the last hire I made was difficult mostly because all the candidates were recent grads more adept at talking into a camera about something than writing about it.
No, it does not imply that, it asserts it;
but that theory, whether true or false, is neither anti-white nor anti-male.
it is simply a true sociological observation.
The success or failure or unintended consequence of programs and policies meant to mitigate the effects of white/male privilege does not disprove its existence.
Here, read this.
That has nothing to do with the privilege question, but it may foreshadow a future where talking -- for better or for worse -- increasingly replaces writing. Well, we still have the Internet, which encourages literacy as it is primarily a text-based medium. In its current iteration, that is; if demand emerges, sites will emerge where people communicate primarily through speech. Then all these talkers will figure out they already have telephones, and the Internet will be shut down.

No but the fact that you nor anyone else on the left can name a white privilege does.
It's a make believe term for lefties who want to pretend it's 1917 instead of 2017 so they have somewhere to direct their blame for failing at life.
I wonder what it's like to live in KO's shoes, where it is automatic to assume the absolute worst about others and the country he lives in.
Ya know, KO, I really don't think reading any more of your bullshit links that you agree with makes any difference. I believe there is equal opportunity in this country and you don't. I know I would have been a fool to pass up the best available candidate for an opening in my newsroom; you believe people like me did it routinely in order to preserve a way of life that never existed, at least where I worked.

KingO is going to his grave still fighting as if it were 1965.
:shrug;
