Did Nancy Pelosi Commit Treason...

What a dumb bastard, Nixon resigned from the Senate in 1953.

Since I'm an idiot can you explain what that has to do with anything? Having read the Logan act several times I would think that a Senator would at least have a leg to stand on claiming that they can give themselves authority. They shouldn't but that should be a lot closer to flying than a private citizen.

Also what terms did Nancy Pelosi offer?

"Senator Nixon"

LMAO!

Go play with your action figures, UD.

Hey moron, after you finish stroking Vetteman's wrinkly scrotum (not that there's anything wrong with that, your kinks are your business) you can look up etiquette concerning addressing former government officials.

Former Congresspersons are routinely referred to by their former title. Note that neither you nor VetteBigot contradicted the facts about Nixon's treasonous betrayal of the U.S. and focused instead on what you saw as an opening to take a shot at the messenger. Nixon intentionally sabotaged the Paris peace talks in his campaign to ultimately win the Presidency in 1968. We all know how well THAT turned out.

All that letter did was undermine the first outright Democrat surrender to the enemy since the Civil War. Nixon attempted a "peace with honor" but the most craven Americans in history, the Democrat congress, many of whom are running the country today, insisted on the biggest bug out in the history of the country. A headlong retreat requiring the U.S. Military to leave 15 billion worth of weaponry on the field so that North Vietnam could be become the 5th most powerful military on Earth. Democrats shamed America then and they are in the process of shaming America again today in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Libya, North Korea, and can't wait to prostrate themselves before the midget Putin.

So then your answer to my previous question is "Yes, it's ok for a presidential candidate to interfere in international negotiations in wartime and extend American involvement in a war to better their chances of getting elected." At least as long as it's a Republican that does it.

The Republican letter, dummy, wasn't about gaining any favor with Netanyahu, he might not even be Prime Minister because of his actions in accepting Boehner's invitation. It was about the United States Senate protecting America from another cowardly unprecedented Democrat surrender to tyranny.

Bull shit, the letter was about the Senate GOP attempting to scuttle UN Security council negotiations with Iran at the request of the Pro-Israel lobby.

Netanyahu's visit was about the House GOP disrespecting the President by inviting a foreign leader into the halls of congress to speak out against the President of the U.S. re: negotiations with Iran, this has backfired against them AND Netanyahu. Mostly because they both failed utterly in their objectives.

Both of these "brilliant" moves have ensured that the GOP won't be passing anything remotely controversial, having decimated any Democratic support they may have had in overriding a Presidential Veto. they also may have doomed Netanyahu's re-election efforts.

Bravo! Morons. :D

Vette, why the FUCK do you care about what Israel does? They are NOT a US state, so FUCK them! They should NOT be involved in US foreign policy as if they're part of Congress.

It's the Republican mantra: Party over country, always.

It's the same reason they had such a hard-on for Putin when they thought he could be used as an example to bash President Obama. No ally is too despicable, no tactic too reprehensible, no ditch too low for them to belly crawl through.

I laugh when they say Obama should be more like Putin. Sure, and then they'd all be dead. Typical dumbasses. Money and Party drive their thoughts these days!

hey I started a thread just for you,

I knew you wouldn't show up:D

Nope the invitation and the speech was to expose another unprecedented Democrat surrender to tyranny, and an underhanded attempt to allow the Iranians to get the bomb, like Democrats did in North Korea.

It was a bullshit stunt that backfired! And you should see someone about your delusions.
