Disaster in the Making

I love the smell of desperation in the morning!

I imagine the smell lingers even after your long suffering squaw has showered and left for work.

Going to try and find seasonal work this Christmas season? Or are you going to sit on your fat ass again and kvetch about "atrial fibrillation" like last year.

"this is the Big One, Esther!"

"this is the Big One, Esther!"

You going to try and mind your own pile of money instead of bitching about inequity and unequal outcomes in life, crying for the totalitarian god state to come make everyone equally poor like always??

Is Rob posting from the unemployment line again?

He can't be doing all this shitposting the last week from his job, can he?

I mean didn't he get sacked for doing that before?

“There is no question that ISIS is one of the big winners in what is happening in Syria,” said Lina Khatib, director of the Middle East and North Africa Program at Chatham House, a research center in London.

Cutting support for the Syrian Democratic Forces has crippled the ability of the United States and its former partners to hunt down the group’s remnants.
News of the American withdrawal set off jubilation among Islamic State supporters on social media and encrypted chat networks. It has lifted the morale of fighters in affiliates as far away as Libya and Nigeria.

And, by removing a critical counterforce, the pullout has eased the re-emergence of the Islamic State’s core as a terrorist network or a more conventional, and potentially long-lasting, insurgency based in Syria and Iraq.

Did you happen to see the video footage of Kurdish kids throwing spoiled fruit and rocks at the retreating American troops?

MAGA.

I remember a story where the "villains" ate people. They'd raid a village and snatch a few for the cookpots while letting others "get away" even though they could have captured all of them.

"Breeding stock" was the term they used.

"Endless wars" could be the modern equivalent term

It's a shame that everyone who is worried about endless wars now didn't think about that before Bush II took us into Iraq.

Your President. Hey, it’s only The Constitution:

“You people with this phony emoluments clause,” he said during the Cabinet meeting.

Nobody in history has ever been successfully prosecuted under it.

schism666, gets his political information from idiots on twitter.

Explains everything.

botfly is too stupid to know the difference between "news" and a meme.

explains nothing but it's fun to point out his mental damage :D

How many dead allies would suit you?

Ask Obama and Hillary, it was their failed plan to arm Kurdish communists to unseat Assad, that Trump inherited. Trouble is Hillary had no brain and Obama had neither brains or balls, so it failed.

Nobody in history has ever been successfully prosecuted under it.

It's worse than that.

These dumbfuks with their "Emoluments Clause!" rallying cry don't understand what an emolument actually is.

It's a "gift".

Anyone know how a "sale" in the normal course of business turns into a "gift" just because the guy who owns the business is "famous" now? Hint: it requires something in addition to the "sale". Something like a price break, or "free stuff" or...

Wait! Trump might be getting "favors" from foreign governments!!! It's like the people who believe that crap don't understand this is DONALD J. TRUMP we're talking about here. You know, the guy who makes deals with foreign governments to be allowed to put up buildings and construct golf courses with his name on them...

What "favors" do you think a foreign government could grant him? A sweetheart deal to put his sons on the board of an energy company with a corresponding high salary? Really?

your president called the constitution phony. as a staunch constitutionalist, how can you pretend to be ok with this?

Learn how to understand English, he was referring to the phony charge that he violated the emoluments clause, not the Constitution itself.

A year or so ago I think I posted an article by a legal authority that stated the Emoluments Clause doesn't even apply to the President in the first place.;)

sure
During his Monday Cabinet meeting, President Donald Trump railed against “people with this phony Emoluments Clause” that had driven him to drop hosting the 2020 G-7 summit at his Doral golf resort near Miami, Florida.

Those people were actually the ‘Founding Fathers’ of the United States of America who enshrined the Emoluments Clause in Article 1 of the U.S. Constitution. That parchment document Trump took an oath to uphold, not dismiss as “phony," when he was sworn in as President of the United States of America.

He called the clause phony. He did not use the word charge. You’re the one with the reading disability, doofus. When did you become the official GB interpreter of what the President actually means?

Well, aren't you all hyped up trying to tell us what the Prez "actually meant" while telling us that we can't figure that out for ourselves.

I think we all laughed at you then. If not, we can all certainly laugh at you now.

Honestly, are you or Luk GypsyTag?

He thinks a lot like you, but he also sounds as low IQ-iish as Luk (or, in an unrelated line) Emerson are.
