Distance and travel question..

I live in a smallish town...and its increasingly hard to meet people who are bisexual or gay. There are no clubs.. no activities... and I sincerely doubt there will be any time in the near future....

so.. this question popped into my head...

how far would you travel to meet a potential partner? Or for an experience?

I want a lesbian experience so bad, I'd probably travel at least 200+ miles for the experience. I probably wouldn't travel that far to meet a potential partner--hopefully I'd be able to get to know them over the phone or email first. There's not a whole lot of opportunity where we live either, so my DH and I have accepted the fact that if it's going to happen (and we both want it) we're going to have to travel for it.

Well, when I met my boyfriend I travelled from one coast to another, and I probably would have done the same for an experience before I met him.

Of course I also lived in a fairly large city in NY with a very large and active gblt community so...

I would travel as far as I could afford. Luckily my boyfriend lives with me, so travel is as short a distance as from one side of the bed to the other = )

In the past I traveled from Oregon to New York. One friend drove across the states to meet me (okay, okay, she was coming down this way anyhow) and another friend drove about 9 hrs.

my bf was in san antonio and i was in london when we first met. we met in person the day after i got back to the states in dallas, and he moved with me to oklahoma two weeks later. that was about 3 years ago--so it can work!

I used to travel from DC to Dallas, just to see my sweetie. If it was for something that was more than just a casual fuck, even if its just a casual fuck with a good friend, I would definitely do it again.

And traveling long distance to meet a stranger who I've been chatting with for a while? After we've gotten into each other's heads, talked about all the things we want to be doing with each other? Foreplay can't possibly get more exquisite. It just works me into a sexual frenzy.
