My current cat I got at 6 weeks, found on the side of the freeway. She went into heat at 4 months, and my mom's 70-year-old vet friend told me the options were to use a glass rod to stimulate her and calm her down, or neuter her, but it was kinda early to get her neutered.

Uh, no thanks. Neuter please.

On the plus side, she looked really cute in the onesie they gave me so she wouldn't pull out her stitches. It had donuts on it!
