Tomboys are cool. The tomboy who started this thread is WAY HOT, lol. And she likes variety in her men, and perhaps her women too. Even better. The best part about this particular tomboy is....she sounds intelligent. It's no wonder why all the guys and gals are checkin' you out.

Why are they called Tomboy's? Seems a wee bit redundantly masculine. Sueboys or Tomgirl...... or woman who fails to adhere to the stereotyped role.

IIRC, the term Tomboy dates to late victorian times in England. In society circles Lesbians at that time were reffered to as Toms, which is a derogatory term originating from the slang name for a british soldier, those Lesbians who preffered to dress in a masculine fashion were then labelled Tom Boys. To show there disdain these Tom Boys started to use the term to show there pride in themselves. As society changed so did the meaning, whereby it became the generic name for any girl that displayed masculine habits.

Me I love tomboys and have had relationships with two which as a crossdresser has been very amusing at times. One ex g/f, enjoyed us dressing up as the opposite sex and going out and really playing with peoples perceptions.

To my experience (I was a straight tomboy before I became a transguy) men are either into the blond femmy model types, or into tomboys-- most men are into tomboys actually esp. in bed, when you are more on the active, or even masculine side, the boys love it-- it was pretty amazing. I had men literally cry, because their usual girls just lay there and they had to do all the moving and never knew if the girl liked it.

On the other hand, many straight girls I know fantasize about femmy men, drag queens, men with tits, etc which surprised *me*.

I only wish all these so-calledstraight people would come out more about thir taste and we would get shows like that on TV, where tomboys love sissies, etc.

They can get ready to go anywhere in less than 20 minutes.
They can fix your car.
They know the difference between a split end and a flanker.
Its a real challenge to gross them out.
They tell great jokes.
They can carry a backpack.
They arent afraid to tell you what they REALLY want.
They like to shoot guns.
They can bait their own hook.
They look great in sweats and a t-shirt.

They dont make you laugh when they cuss.
They dont eat quiche.
They love going commando.

I guess that makes me a tomboy.. I would add to the list not freaking out when they get a bug thrown on them (the guys i know love doing that to chicks) and not being scared of toads, frogs or mice..
Not to mention the camping aspect.. and mud fights..

too bad all my friends are girly girls.. and noone i know is into tomboys

Definately, Tomboys are great fun to be around. It is nice to have someone that likes the same things you do. Conversations are easy and the sex is fantastic. I say this from experience when i was in my teens. We played together, hung out together, fought side by side and pretty much did everything together. When the time came for romance it felt a little weird for both of us. But she gave me her vaginity and the sex between us was incredible. She was a tomboy during the day & a goddess at night. So, from my experience I would say "yes" guys do like tomboys. If you are having a problen there then by all means come to the USA, I would be more than happy to be with you. OHMYGODYES!!!!!!! Tomboys are my biggest, ultimate weakness.

Love Tom Boys

I love a woman that is a tomboy. They are so good to be around for so many reasons. I love the outdoors and most tomboys i know are into it also.

Plus, if that tomboy flair crosses over into their sex lives, they can be a LOT of fun.
