Does this mean I'm gay?

I wonder how that cat AV can so mysteriously seem to resemble your previous "man in a hat" AV on a strange but undeniable level.

They're both pics of really cool cats.

Does this mean I'm gay?
--Yes. Yes it does.

Carson: I hate the Phantom of the Fucking Opera.
--Wow. I’ve never seen that one, but based on the title I want to. ;)

Shanglan: But for me, the best will always be "Sweeney Todd."
--“Once Upon a Mattress” for me. Princess and the Pea story, retold with a “princess” who came from a swamp. Her name is “Fred.” There’s also extra-marital sex and pregnancy. Plus, any princess who was played by Carol Burnett on Broadway has to be great.

Excellent question. Hmm. Is it some sort of catch-and-release program?

Oh, you must've gotten the memo from National Headquarters the same day I did.

does that mean we need to re-evaluate John, Paul George & Ringo? ('Til There Was You) ;)

Were they in "Alamo the musical"? The one where Catholics fight the Mexicans for the rights to The Madness of King III (the empire strikes back)?

My mistake. That was John Paul, George and Gringo.

Snoop....please.

I like musicals...I've done musicals...as a matter of fact, if you had a high school aged boy that was having trouble meeting women, get him in the school musical. Lots o' gals, always a shortage of guys...and the girls who see it but aren't in it usually like that the guys:
1) aren/t hung up on the macho shithead thing
2) can dance
3) can talk

as to the matter of orientation...Carson wishes it were other than it is...don't you babe? *wink*

(of course it don't hurt if you can beat the hell out of the guys who want to hassle you...I guess I do have a little "macho" in me...)

grrrrrrrowl and purrrrrrrr!:cathappy: :cattail: :catroar:

Being a straight male my attitude towards musicals is pretty ... let's say ... defensive. Never seen one, never intented to.

But now I've seen the trailer for 'Phantom Of The Opera' and I was blown away by it.

The little music that's in it caught my ear and I can't stop whistling it since then.

I also already downloaded some songs, informed myself about the story and plan on buying the soundtrack.

Oh my god, what happened to me since the start of 2005????

Ironically, I just posted this in the isolated blurt thread- but it seems to fit here too-

You'll never know until you try.

Did this musical twice by co-inki-dink. Once at college, once in high school. same part both times...although due to aforementioned shortage of males, my role in high school also included the dance lead for the "Spanish Panic"...said part was the Captain of the Queen's guard, but for purposes of Lit fun I will allow someone else to put the name with the role, since I know it will provoke commentary ;)

Okay, if we are talking favorite musicals, be it movie or theater, I would have to say, Jeckel and Hyde for theatrical, and Moulan Rouge for movie. Ewan McGregor is fantastic in that movie and the music to Jeckel (sp?) and Hyde is superb. Les Mis. can suck my balls. It's too damn boring. How can a musical where there is looting, dying, cheating, whoring be so boring? I'll never know. Loaf of bread. Pah! Great reason to write a musical...

I'm with you. Les Mis rocks the hiz-ouse. The confrontation between Javert and Jean Valjean itself was worth buying the two-cd dream cast soundtrack.
:D

My dad's always been a fan of the Phantom Of The Opera but don't anyone dare try telling him he's gay. LOL!

The first act is great. The second act puts me to sleep EVERY time. Every time. I even went to see it live, fell asleep. Sorry, it just is too damn boring. The music is cool, and the plot great, but for some reason it acts quicker than triptophanic acid at Thanksgiving.

Javert is THE MAN. I have recurring fantasies about pulling him out of his whirlpool and seducing him in his moment of weakness ;)

I used to have the video of the dream cast, and at the end, the "premeire" actors who played Jean ValJean all over the world came together to sing "Who Will Join In Our Crusade?" in their native languages. It rocked!

Ya know, I probably should've paid more attention to the beginning of this thread before beginning to run my mouth off.

Awh, why bother? It never stopped me before.

So you love musicals and you can't keep your mouth shut?

This just keeps getting better.
