Then when my mom and I had the talk, it was the simple mechanics of the process (boy sticks penis in girl, girl gets pregnant). The only other mention about sex and pregnancy was the expectation that if I got a girl pregnant I was to marry her.

Yeah, that was a mistake for me that ended in divorce! I would never give my children that advice, hopefully they will be more careful than I was. Marriage is something that should be done because in the deepest parts of your soul you know that person completes you. . .not because you're pregnant.

And here's the kicker. . .one month after I married my ex I lost the baby. That really should have been a sign of things to come. . .
