I failed spectacularly, got a whole five miles and my goddamned vacuum advace valve on the fiero went out. So my subbie pal Whitneys house is up that way and I limped the car over to her house and told her what was up and she chewed me out for being stupid and it turns out she has the same problem and so does her sister. She suggested that I pull my head out of my ass and man up and see the doctor. Since my car wasn't going to cooperate and apparently I'm being an emo asshole I limped the fucking car home. It died about five times in traffic to boot on the way home but it finally got here.

So, my whole spectacular emo road trip failed in the most silly of ways. I swear, if I tried to suicide today I'd break a fucking nail or something so I'm stuck at home now and I guess I'll have to just talk to you guys about all of this.

Well I for one am glad it failed. We like our Betticus just as he is, voices and all...and I'm glad you have a friend willing to yell at you, subbie or not, and tell you you are being an emo asshole. :) She's right, get your ass to a doctor and get the help you need from them so that we can keep you around a lot longer.

Glad you didn't get to do anything daft. There was a Whole bunch of concerned subbies back here wondering what you were up too. Hope you get it sorted, I know what it's like pal sometimes I just want to jump on a train and get the fuck out of dodge.

Maybe electomagnetic therapy (not magnets in the hand; but a big electromagnet with an oscilating field; does the same thing old fasion shock therapy used to do, with out the burns and screaming).

You know Bett, times have changed, they don't do torture people who hear voices anymore. They may not have cures yet, but their are methods for coping with the disease successfully. You'll be well adjusted in no time. ;)

Mental illnesses are just that, they are not part of your personality. Just like a heart attack doesn't say anything about who you are, neither does mental illness. It is simply the brain malfunctioning.

Like with much else early detection is a key element in success. The sooner you get a diagnosis, the better your chances.

One huge tip, buy some good health insurance before you get diagnosed. If you are serious, this is the most important thing you can do right now. Once diagnosed, nobody is gonna take you, and you will have to pay everything, and it is a lot.

I had ect in my youth many years ago, it did help bring me out of my cacatonic state. It was quite humane, no smoking skin etc.

Flu, lost cell phone, other bad stuff. This week has super sucked.

Whatever you subbies want, I'm just gonna lay back on some pillows, drink some ice cold milk and nibble on anything someone brings over... esp belly rubs. :eek:

I'm gonna run to the store for cookies and milk. I need comfort junk food. :cool:
 
Ok, I got some ice cream with fudge, pecans and caramel swirl.. Also a pack of Klondike Bars in oreo cookies & cream. A bag of frozen mixed berries and a bag of frozen mango chunks.

A small box of assorted cookies with sugar, m&m, chocolate walnut and something else.

For the ultimate in comfort food tho I just ordered a pepperoni pizza from Dominos with black olives and shredded parmesan.

Ohh., forgot. A half gallon of orange/mango juice. :)
