we're animals, people. Even the really charismatic ones among us, even the ones that wash 18 times a day (I heart OCD boys) we're just....dumb...animals.

Some are more animal than others. There are plenty of people out there that don't particularly use their noses. My wife is one of them.

Well actually, it is with women... mostly. There've been several studies done and the one I remember best was done in Sweden (?), testing women's sense of smell in relation to the man she chooses.

Makes sense in many ways. Also tracks why we are seeing more women than men here.

F loves smelling me and I him. If he is away on business I usually sleep buried in his pillow, and sometimes borrow a shirt he wore before going away. I love smelling whiskers (yes, some do smell great and manly), and chest hair also.

They put worn, sweat scented T-shirts in shoe boxes, with a hole at the end and had ladies smell them. Ladies picked the shirts from men who had very different genetic codes from their own.

Theory: keeping the gene pool diverse insures the longevity of the species.


And Betticus, I like your idea. I know 2 guys on this board whos shirts I'd like to have... and in exchange for panties, I bet they'd send me a shirt. LOL

I'm starting to think that a cookie exchange program might work out better!
