Don't you hard-right Liti-Cons realize you are undermining the Republican Party?

Bigger than you might imagine.

...and less than you might imagine.

Post-2006 we're seeing far fewer people identify with the social conservative tag. I suspect there may be a hardcore 15 to 25% of Americans who would self-identify as "social conservatives". These folks will never come close to achieving a simple majority of the Republican party, let alone congress, so they have to make alliances.

You're really talking way over the heads of your target audience here. Perhaps if you acted it out with sock puppets they might get a small grasp of what you are talking about.

This is funny...:D

But still a minority. A base only slightly larger than the Greens or the Libertarians.

In poll after poll, when asked questions on specific policy and/or ideals, the US public consistently polls conservative. Those that can clearly articulate those ideals tend to win elections in all but core urban environments.

I can appreciate the positivity of your postings, even though Obamas ratings are falling like a rock.

Voting for a politician is like buying a new set of tires. No matter what the stated warranty is, all that counts is where the rubber meets the road. The difference is that with the tires you can take them back and have some possibility of having them replaced before they blow out.

The bottom line is that Obama is a fucking clown. A ghetto agitator that made the big time on his ability to project good rhetoric (if there's a teleprompter present).

He's actually starting to make Biden look good.

You think maybe the conservatives should speak up when Obama introduces the Agrarian Reform Act and announces plans for huge communal farms and re-education camps in the Midwest.

 And exactly what reason have you to think he will?

That is exactly the kind of impenetrable RW idiocy I was talking about in the OP.

I just figured after hearing Bush compared to Hitler a little Obamao was appropriate.

Who compared Bush to Hitler? Hitler was quite a bit more intelligent.

And none of them will ever be as smart as Obama and his supporters.
For instance, Obama tripled the budget deficit, then promised to cut it in half over the years, and his adoring fans just shrieked with ecstasy.

Hooray!! Spend a shit load now and tax a shit load later. Works for me.

/Sarcasm off

This premise of this thread is ludicrous. Taking advice from a liberal Democrat on how to improve the Republican Party is like the Pittsburgh Steelers taking advice from the Arizona Cardinals coach at halftime of the Super Bowl. No way for me to know what your true motivations are, but I have my opinion. And regarding conservatism, how did Proposition 8 pass in California? How has the issue of gay marriage done at the voting booth? The issue is not a big deal for me but the fact that it passed in California is evidence that even social conservatism remains viable despite your admonitions to the contrary.

I am a republican who believes that listening to moderates and RINOs got us John McCain and we know how that turned out. I also agree with others who have noted that Obama's policies regarding the markets will be the greatest boon to the republican party in years and if I am wrong (which I deny), improved market conditions will benefit me just like the next guy.

It's the Carter Malaise all over again.

The Thread Title spills the beans...

KO's homage to Obama's million straw-man methodology of debatification and speechifying...
