Dragons of Gralfor OOC

I think I've seen it once before, I just don't remember because it was years ago.

You've never heard of the phrase: "pottering around"?

It essentially means *doing stuff, odd jobs etc* misc stuff and doing it on your own terms and time.

Oh, I was reading with a different pronunciation, like "potter," one who makes pots. And there is also the language differences. The British/Austrialian version is spelled "pottering" while the American version is spelled "puttering."

It's always been said that the Americans and the British are two people separated by a common language. ;)

LOL. Okay.

We have "puttering" too. Though I never use it.

Try being in a country that doesn't know if its more australian than american. It gets tiring, real quick.

Wow, that is an interesting...problem, if it can be called a problem.

Well, now that we've got that out of the way, may I ask how the Vale is doing?

The Vale is doing well. I've got some more posts to put up, but that may take some time. I've got a major one to do for both Talon and Ilandria... and now I have re-address Elmhand and Jay's storylines. I've got someone else interested and I've got some big bads headed Silver's way.

Have I forgotten anyone?

Oh yeah, Michael.

Well, it's good to hear that you're on top of things. I'd hate to see you over worked. :)

Well, I must be off to bed. Gotta be up for class in about four hours. Good night Wolfsister. See you tomorrow.

Does anyone have any questions about the Citadel because I'm not sure if I confused everyone with my last post.

I know that I told everyone that while someone is in the Citadel that they cannot be contacted by anyone from the outside. When I thought about it I knew it was a stupid idea because if someone was inside the Citadel recuperating how would they know when any of their fellow knights is in trouble.

So I have decided to change it. You can contact anyone who is in inside the Citadel at any time. There is a power that any of the knights have where they can find the Citadel, no matter where they are in the kingdom.

The only reason you cannot reach the Citadel now is because of Nicolas' power. He is shutting people off while he is there. The knights can still find it but nothing more.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to ask.

Dragon bio

Name: Kodagon

Age: Although no records date back that far, he is considered to be over 2000 years old

Gender: Male

Color: Deep Bronze

Eye color: Orange

Breath weapon: White fire, the hottest and most pure form, can be extremely hard to see, especially in the light of day, causing it to seem as though his foes merely melt away before his anger

Physical description: With great age has come great size, and Kodagon is amongst the oldest of the wild dragons. A true giant even by dragon standards, his mere presence is intimidating to even the toughest of creatures, being 250 feet from nose to tail with a 380 foot wingspan. His scales are a deep Bronze in colour, the original brilliant gold of his youth long since faded. Yet his eye's remain as blazing orange as ever, a reminder that this dragon certainly hasn't fallen into senility.

History: Kodagon is an old Dragon, one of the few remaining survivors of a time when naught but dragons ruled the lands of Gralfor. He even has memories of the great splitting of the elvish clans into S'deele and S'daale, a time of great turmoil amongst the elves.
The arrival of the human's and their greed driven actions were seen as intolerable to this dragon elder, and he was an outspoken supporter of the out right destruction of the invading human race. He was eventually silenced by the other elders, and the agreement for peace was struck, and the dragon knight's appointed.
Since that time he has waited patiently for an opportunity to seize vengeance on the human's, and the arrival of the Orc's has presented an opportunity too good to let pass by. Although he holds no love for these vile creature's either, they present him with a means to an end, that end being the utter destruction of the human plague that has ravaged his land.

Thanks Angelus, and hi to everyone else!
love ur characters in Gralfor, i think u've collectively all written a fantastic story, and i loved reading it. :) now looking forward to being a part of it... if that's cool :p

Name: Kordra
Race: Orc
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Status: Berserker
Hair color: Thick black hair usually kept in a heavy braid
Eye color: Violet usually, fully black when berserking.
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 220
Weapon(s): A "slightly" larger than average battle axe that stands several inches taller than her from end to end. A closer inspection would reveal crackling runes that cover the blade and haft of the weapon, though a closer inspection likely means a nasty cleaving in twain. Slung across her shoulder is a tube brimming with javelins for those hard to reach places.
Physical description: Slightly small for an orc but no less terrifying on the battlefield. Her hair is thick and long, reaching down to her waist and kept in a thick braid. Her eyes are expressive and curious as she surveys this new land but quick to anger if one falls to her bad side. Her body is bound is hard muscle but not so much as to lose her femininity. She proudly bears her scars, most notably a wide gash in her exposed side that nearly reaches around from her navel to her spine. A single tusk juts from her bottom lip as she lost the other one years a go when a male thought she would make a fine mate without her knowledge. The male lost a good deal more.
History: As the daughter of one of the warlords, she was always held to high standards. Though barbaric in nature, her father's particular war band always held a sense of honor amongst themselves. As such she was brought up to believe in such ideals until her father's clan was absorbed by another larger one in a fierce battle that cost both sides dearly. Her death would have been certain if she had not discovered her talent for harnessing her people's ferocity and killed many of her attackers at the tender age of eight. This act sealed her fate as the new warlord's protege and adoptive daughter. She learned to allow herself to fall into terrible rage during battle, allowing her to perform herculean feats of strength, speed and fortitude. As one of the rare true berserkers in the orc horde, she is a truly respected combatant to those that see her in action though she has yet to see action in this particular conflict.

She never lost teachings her father instilled within her, and in the back of her mind dearly wishes to live out that life if she would overcome the hurdle that is the sense of duty to the old orc who kept her alive, even if it were only as a tool of war.

Hmmm...I don't see a "Welcome to the thread" response from Angelus. Do you think that it was wise to post in the IC without one, BlueMary?

And to A.Wryter, we shall see...we shall see.

I hate getting up this early.

I can change it if needed. I wasn't sure of another way to toss myself in.

No, I wasn't referring to what you wrote in the post; the post is fine. I was just referring to the tradition that you wait until the GM says so before you put anything in the IC.

You don't need to change a thing.

It is usually considered rude to post ic before the trhead owner gives the go ahead, but don't worry about it this time. Just keep that in mind for the next thread you join.

He -did- give the okay. It was just in a PM is all. Or I'll have my foot in my mouth if I misunderstood. >_<

If you say that Angelus said it was okay, there is no way we can argue without sounding like a bunch of whiney jack-asses, so I for one won't argue. The only reason why you've been "grilled" like this is because Angelus didn't put up a public "okay" for you. Had he done that, this whole conversation would never have happened.

So, chill out and enjoy the ride.
