Echoes of Mankind IC

Drel Walker

He glanced over at Kitka, and smiled at her idea. Well, it would be good to show the engineering boys what the design team actually wanted them to do with the equipment for once. He turned as the Commander spoke. He stood up.

"Requesting next shift, sir!"

Kitka

Kitka took one more look at the information that scrolled across her board and then addressed Terra 1 again.

"Terra 1, I am going to my quarters. Alert me if there is any status change from your scans in there. Also, include in your first scan any signs of leakage or hull damage."

Standing, she nodded her head to Commander Treloar. "I will be in my quarters if needed," She said,"Third watch will be mine if that pleases the Commander."

Loril

Loril's hands flew across the board setting their destination and plotting the quickest and safest way toward that destination.

"Terra 1," she said to the computer,"Destination and voyage information are locked into the system. If there are any minor unseen problems with the flight plan, adjust as necessary, returning to the designated plan when convient. If the problems are serious, alert me at once."

Pressing the controls that changed the helm back to autopilot, she concluded,"Helm is now on autopilot. Terra 1, confirm."

When confirmation is given, she, too, will stand and address the Commander. "I suppose that means my watch is last. If you need me I will be in the mess hall trying to figure out the food process controls in order to get a cup of coffee, Commander."

Commander Treloar Noviscum

Commander Treloar expected to get groans and moans about his order of implementing a rostered system for bridge duty from his crew of 4. But he was pleasantly surprised when Officer Drel Walker quiet enthusiastically asked for the next shift after him.

"Granted, Officer Walker. Terra 1 can you impute a rostered charter every 6 hours in the following order;

1st Watch: Myself
2nd Watch: Officer Walker
3rd Watch: Officer Kitka Seerzman
4th Watch: Officer Harmony.

Thankyou Terra 1. And thankyou everyone."

Soon enough, as Kitka and Walker addressed him and they knew the watch specification details, they filtered from the control bridge, leaving the Commander and Officer Loril Harmony alone. She confirmed with Terra 1 the course plot and handed back helm control to Terra 1 auto-pilot.

"I suppose that means my watch is last. If you need me I will be in the mess hall trying to figure out the food process controls in order to get a cup of coffee, Commander."

"Alright Officer. Enjoy your battle with the food processor," Treloar answered with a soft smile.

And then he was alone with the silence of the whirring control console banks and the flashing lights. On the other side of the door were the security detail on duty, but inside it was him and Terra 1.

"Terra 1 you are authorised to move into Mech Speed Warp 3."

Treloar looked at his chair controls and pressed a few buttons, and he turned on his favourite music that was saved on his personal files that had been transferred on his request. Leaning back he listened at last getting some peace.

OOC:sorry all,i dont havea lot of free time lately*sigh*)
Terra 1
Terra One confirmed eahch roder in turn, the ship moving gracefully into Warp, wihtout even a small shudder. Each order or request was payed attention to and answered,a small roster appaering on the screens in the main crew's quarters and ina small corner of the main screen.

Terra 1 ran smoothly, tirelessly as the ship hurtled on through space.
It's view swept over the security cameras set itno different spaces in each room, where only the head of security, the commander, and Terra 1 itself could gain access to view. Its eyes took in the crews changing from dress clothes into bedclothes(or none if thats what suited them),any o f them considerate enough to palce them ina samll tray ahd them removed and auto-cleaned and pressed, then hung up or palced folded away neatly for tommorow.
Unlike the sub crew, the bridge crew had quarters with food synthesizers built in,and ach request was made promptly and with an almost too perfect taste, and exsquisitly prepared.

Drel Walker

He stopped by his room only a moment, throwing what luggage he'd salvaged on top of his bed, glad he'd at least have a decent supply of uniforms. He glanced around the room, noting to himself the need to ask Terra 1 to turn off any cameras in his room or to start tampering with its equipment.

He left, and nearly ran to catch up with the engineering crew.

For the next hour, he spent time getting to know the engineering crew sent to fix the coolant problem, as well as their strengths. He worked along side them, getting a hands-on feel for Terra's system, and made sure then ran the needed scans for any damage to surrounding equipment.

Once he was done with that, he started back to his quarters, mulling over private thoughts.

Loril

Loril made her way to the crew's dining area. She knew she had a personal food processor in her room but she had a need not to be alone right now. She had been too busy trying to survive to let everything that had happened sink in and now she just wanted to feel like she was not alone in what she was thinking and feeling.

She wasn't. Once she had her coffee, she sat down at a table and listened to the murmured conversation surrounding her. Shock, fear, loss, grief, all were portrayed in each person's speech and manners.

No one offered to sit by her. She was still an officer and the ship's crew was weary of expressing their opinions to her. Or that was what she supposed. She wondered, briefly if rank had any meaning anymore but then decided that, if they didn't hold to some rules, anarchy would ensue and that every person onboard knew it as well.

Sipping her coffee, deep in thought, she didn't even stop to check how much time was passing.

Kitka

Kitka entered her room, sighing as the door closed. She wanted to be alone right now with her thoughts. She didn't feel like encountering any of the stares or whispers from people who knew both that her family was responsible for the destruction on Terra and her link with them. She didn't think she could handle it now.

She saw that her belongings were in her room. Hers and the commanders had been on the way before everything fell apart so most of it was here. She spent some time unpacking and then took a long shower, letting the water rinse away the horror she was feeling at what had happened.

How could you? Her mind kept repeating the plea to her deceased father, How dare you?!

But he was not there to answer, not there to pay for his crimes against all of the people on the ship, all of those on the surface, all the dead and dying.

Getting out of the shower, Kitka dried off and tried to shake the feeling that she was somehow responsible as well, if only through her bloodlines. There was no way she could make up for what her family had done. She wouldn't know where to begin.

Now the question was, could she live with it? Slipping intoa flowing smock of soft silk that fell to the floor and hugged her curves, she knew she didn't have the answer to that. It would be a long time in coming, if it ever did.

Commander Treloar Noviscum

Commander Noviscum for the thousandth time checked the consoles and found that everything was in order. The mission granted, had began on the wrong footing, with Terra 1 being attacked, then the attempt on his and Kitka's life and then the explosion of a nucleic device. But now that they were on the ship, so far and fingers crossed everything was running like clockwork.

He sat back down on his chair in the center of the bridge and sighed. Terra 1 had remained quiet, the music Treloar had put on in the background was still playing along softly. He checked the time and it was 3 hours into his shift.

They were flying through a empty sector of space, leaving the ravages of Terra far behind them. Treloar wondered for a moment if this mission was now one way, with everything that had taken place on his home planet. Only time and the grace of the blessed redemer would sanctify.

He opened up a interface com channel and as it was a touch screen he touched the gaming section and then picked Chess on a sub-menu. Just infront of the Commander, a holographic image of a chess board and pieces shimmered into view and Treloar smiled, struck with an idea out of boredom;

"Terra 1 if you are not busy, would you like a game?" Treloar asked with a brief wide smile.

Kitka

After several hours of trying to relax and clear her mind, Kitka gave up in disgust. Taking out a clean uniform, she dressed again and left her quarters. She needed something to do. Doing nothing was driving her out of her mind.

Walking along the corridors, she found her feet taking her back to the bridge. She would just pop in and check how things were gong. Of course she could check it from her quarters but she was feeling like the walls were closing in on her. She just needed to get to a place where she could emerse herself in long streams of data and facts and figures without her thoughts interferring.

When the doors to the bridge opened, she nodded to the Commander and went over to her seat to pull up the data on the scans taht had been run and those of the atmosphere inside and outside of the ship, sighing as she finally let her thoughts die back into the background.

Terra 1

Terra 1 detached a bit of itself, and in front of the holographic chessboard a small figure of rapidly scrolling numbers appeared, indistinct and pwithout any marks or identification. It stood on the edge of the board away from the Commander.

"If you wish Commander,i would enjoy a game."the figure spoke wihtout a mouth, and fixed the commander with an eyeless stare.

Commander Treloar Noviscum

Treloar watched with a piqued amused face as Terra 1 detached a small figure covered in rolling jumbled numbers next to the holographic chess board, with bigger than normal chess pieces. When Terra 1 affirmed his offer he nodded at the faceless figure.

"Alrightee then...let us begin," said the Commander.

They began to play, human vs computer, only the whirring of control panels and the flickering of lights on screens, other than that they were alone. Until near the midway part of the game, where both he and Terra 1 were having a pitched strategic battle with each other's pieces the bridge door slid smoothly open to reveal Kitka Seerzman who strided in and the door closed immediately behind her.

Without a word, she nodded at him and Treloar looked up and nodded back at her, she had proceeded to her station and studied through the data that was being scanned in space. Still concentrating on the game, Commander Treloar said out aloud "Officer Seerzman, anything interesting to report?"After a small break to consider a defensive move he said "Anything worth exploring in the near future?"

Kitka

Kitka gave a sigh and shook her head. "Nothing more than we already know," she said,"If there had been, Terra 1 would have told you before I could have entered the bridge."

"As for anything worth exploring," She turned in her chair to look at him at last, her face troubled,"How about the question 'Is the human race dooming themselves to repeat their history over and over again.'"

Running a hand through her hair, she used the pause to gather her thoughts.

"Our history teaches us that those who inhabited Terra came from a planet they had destroyed. Now, we have done the same to our own homeworld. So, the question is, when we find the first homeworld, what happens? Do we settle down on it if it is inhabitable and procreate and fill it with those just like us who are then going to destroy it again at some point in time?"

Her hand came down hard on the console, showing how much the turn of events were bothering her. Especially since it was her own family who had caused the chain of events leading up to it.

"Is that what we are destined to do, over and over again? Can we not learn from what has happened in the past? Does the memory so fade from the minds of those who come after the survivors of such events that they grow careless and forget what horror they are capable of causing?"

She shook her head and turned back to her console. "If that is all the future holds for us than I can only conclude that we really have no purpose in existing. We are no better than the parasites we view under a microscope who live, breed and destroy the environment they live in."

Terra 1

"if i may interrupt Officer?"Terra 1's smooth voice filled the air as her last words hug in the air.
"If you will permit me to show you something Officers?"It waited for their nods, then the small figure turned to the main screen, which started to fill, reaveling a grainy, low resolution cideo feed, using barely a fourht of the whole screen, though centered on it.It showed a green, lush world spread out under a sloping hill leading down.A middle aged man stepped into the picture and smiled, speaking quietly to someone, directing the positioning fo the camera.a robotic voice, oddly familiar, responded and the view shifted slightly to tkae in the view and the man ina better position. The man checked a small feed on his wrist before looking at the camera and smiled."hello there, this is a video documentary for later generations"The camera shifted to the pristine, green landscape."humanity has finnaly reached another planet, and hopefully Terra will become a second world in which our children and our children's children may live."The camera shifted back to show the man with a more serious look upon his face."Humanity's past has been filled with a violent history, and though we have made many mistakes,i am hopeful that in time, humanity will be able to better itself and remove itself from the darkness and violence that has shadowed its first footsteps in time."He cleared his throat gently before continuing."this video is for future generations,do not allow the same mistakes humanity has wrought to continue, better yourselves, take a chance and strive for peace always.that is all i can give you,the future generations of the planet Terra."the video view fuzzed into static as Terra One turned to the two again.
"Commander,Officer,it is the opinion of myself,a human construct, that humanity is not a malevolent beast,it is merely a child, taking tentative steps towards greatness.Do nto let past mistakes interfere with your capabilities,if you cna recognize what you have done wrong and can face them bravely,i am sure that humanity can put itself on a better track."
It turned to teh video again, which was paused."This video was recorded on Terra standard Day 01:01:01 terran year 01,the man in the video is the first human to ever step on to the surface of planet Terra. This video document was lost when power on the Discovery was removed to further growth of the new colony, though before we launched it was repowered in response to the attack, and sent me the original Discovery 's data and information."

Commander Treloar Noviscum

Commander Treloar looked up from the game listening to Kitka's answer and nodding to her answer. He hoped to explore something soon, he wanted the thrill of adventure, he actually felt more alive when there was something to study, explore, discover or even dissect.

Kitka posed a very important question and one that he too thought about alot. Treloar was no philosopher but he felt as if the story of humanity had so many missing pieces, and he wanted to be the one to piece them all together. 'Is the human race dooming themselves to repeat their history over and over again.'

He listened to her argument, Treloar ran his fingers over the stubble on his chin that had started to sprout up. He agreed with her on some points but also felt Kitka's views had been somewhat tainted by the ill feeling she held for her family's dire actions just before launch and at launch. He didn't blame her, but he also knew that Kitka could in no way stop her family from carrying out their dastardly plot.

Treloar was about to respond with his views when the crisp professional voice of Terra 1 cut in. As the voice cut in, the chess table and pieces dematerialised. "If you will permit me to show you something Officers?" Treloar nodded so did Kitka and Terra 1 continued; the interface main screen coalesced and centered on a elderly man but with still very active eyes. Treloar immediately recognised the man, as one of thefirst council members and a founder of Terra 1 from the DISCOVERY. This was some sort of history feed recording that Terra 1 deemed it necessary to show.

"Hello there, this is a video documentary for later generations. humanity has finnaly reached another planet, and hopefully Terra will become a second world in which our children and our children's children may live." It was a feed from the time of landing. The images of a green pristine untouched Terra tugged at the heart-strings of Treloar and he watched on silently brooding. "This video is for future generations, do not allow the same mistakes humanity has wrought to continue, better yourselves, take a chance and strive for peace always. That is all i can give you,the future generations of the planet Terra." The feed ended with these words and a silence filled the bridge as Kitka and Treloar thought silent thoughts.

Terra 1 continued about the history of the feed. When it stopped, Treloar spoke up. "Terra 1, what do you know about our homeworld.....if I remember correctly it was called Earth?"

The main interface screen faded back into the image of a star-scape of outer-space.

"the original planet humanity originated from was indeed called Earth. It was almos tlike Terra, with near 70% water and seven continents.it is the 3rd planet in its system, the Sol System. It orbits around a star simply named the sun.It contains one moon and was home to hundreds of different creatures and wildlife."as Terra 1 spoke, the screen again phased into screenshots of first a blue background layout of Sol system, then a startingly blue and green picture of Earth itself.Around tis rim were huge numbers of sattelites and space stations, glinting form solar reflections.
"Earth contains many environs, ranging from freezing cold, inhabitable temperatures at the poles, with a much warmer "belt" around the middle of the planet.it is tilted in its orbit, which allows four different seasons.Humanity grew there from primates, evolving from, small supposedly tree-dwellers to tool-using,fully bipedal humans such as today.Humans on Earth at first were seperate, almsot entirly different peoples before easier space-flight was invented. For a period Earth was almsot destroyed along with humanity as human technology grew faster then human temperment.Luckily, the Discovery program was instituted before outright war consumed the planet, and Earth's governments managed to put aside differences,at least for a time.before Discovery was launched, plans had been made to terraform the next planet from Earth, the red planet Mars, one or two of another planet's moon's,and Earth's moon itself.Unluckily,as Discovery was launched before these plans came to a result,i have no record of wether these plans worked or failed."
Terra one's figure tunred again."is there anything else you would like to know Commander?"

Kitka

Kitka watched the video feed with mixed emotions. They were so hopeful and, if they could see what their decendants had done...well, it didn't exactly disprove her point.

With a sigh, she said,"And that's my point exactly. We, who have survived what happened on Terra will remember and strive to improve. We will teach the next generation who will try as well for they will be able to hear the horror in the voices of their parents as they tell the tale. But, at some point, some generation is going to have lost the ability to look at what will be history to them and they will forget the mistakes and will start making them all over again."

Drel Walker

Drel Entered the bridge at this point, having put his things away, taken a shower and dressed in a clean uniform, leaving the one he had been wearing to be cleaned by the ship's systems.

"And that's why we need to teach them to think. Not to be rude Kitka, but for all your father's genius, he was a complete retard. After all, he destroyed Terra, and for what? To stop us from destroying Terra with 'our evil sciences'. It's obvious that our ancestors relied to heavilly on showing the evils of the technology they were using, probably putting emphasis on never building trully dangerous weapons and such. It turned into a religious fascination, where the technology was evil and you weren't supposed to think about the evil was how it was used, but accept what they said."

He sat down at his station, and leaned back, putting his feet up on the console in front of him in an area where he wouldn't accidentally be hitting anything. "What we need to do is teach the next generations that it's not the technology, but the will behind it and how it is used that can be evil, and teach them to think through everything, because its thoughts that are evil, not some harmless actions, or worse yet, that technology or the furthering of knowledge could be evil."

He looked over at Kitka. "Of course, that's if we find more humans, or if we decide to reproduce ourselves to try to build up our race again, ourselves. Anyway, Commander, anything happen, or is it just the vulnerable position of your queen that should be worrying us?" He glanced over at the chess game, and then turned his gaze back to Kitka, watching the Science Officer silently.

Kitka

Kitka looked over at Officer Walker and shook her head. "What it really comes down to, Officer, is the fact that no matter what is taught, the human race has the choices. Free will. And some chose not to learn from past mistakes. Those are the dangerous ones."

She did not take offense at anything he had said about her father. She had known for a long time he was a fanatic. She just didn't know how dangerous a fanatic he had actually become. Until it was too late.

Standing, she said,"Well, gentlemen, I believe I will try to get some sleep before my watch. Have a good night."

And she left the bridge, her mind still troubled but with more to think about than she had had when first coming on the bridge.

terra One moved a piece on the chessboard just as Drell spoke, taking the Commander's queen."i believe that is checkmate Commander, would you like to play again?"
Terra one floated through space, coasting along in spurts on its inertia before firing its engines again, staying at relativly the same high speeds now, having been running on warp for a few hours, cutting down on energy outputs to conserve energy until stopping for a solar recharge.

Commander Treloar Noviscum

Commander Treloar listened to the answer of Terra 1 of his question of humanity's homeworld.

"The original planet humanity originated from was indeed called Earth. It was almos tlike Terra, with near 70% water and seven continents. It is the 3rd planet in its system, the Sol System. It orbits around a star simply named the sun.It contains one moon and was home to hundreds of different creatures and wildlife." Treloar watched the screen as images of what the home planet looked like, he immediately fell in love with the blue oceans and green landmasses. It all looked so beautiful. But Treloar remembered that all these images were many years ago, eons ago and much had changed.

Terra 1 continued to explain more on Earth and humanity, and he watched the shot of Earth surrounded by thousands of sattylites and glittering space stations. What would Earth look like now? Many years into the future, their present? But a niggling feeling overcame Treloar for a moment, uneasiness at what they may find when they got to the Solar System.

Humans on Earth at first were seperate, almsot entirly different peoples before easier space-flight was invented. For a period Earth was almsot destroyed along with humanity as human technology grew faster then human temperment. Luckily, the Discovery program was instituted before outright war consumed the planet, and Earth's governments managed to put aside differences,at least for a time. Before Discovery was launched, plans had been made to terraform the next planet from Earth, the red planet Mars, one or two of another planet's moon's, and Earth's moon itself.Unluckily, as Discovery was launched before these plans came to a result,i have no record of wether these plans worked or failed."

Treloar listened and thought about what the computer was saying. He had one last question for the computer and he would ask it soon, something he needed to know as well as the crew. "Terra 1, one more question, did humanity meet or have contact with any alien species. Restricted information classification overuled. Please proceed."

Terra 1 remained silent as Officer Walker who had entered during the Terra 1 presentation, now he and Kitka were discussing what they had seen. The chess board and pieces re-materialised infront of him, with the moves saved. It was his turn, and he only now realised that he was close to being check-mated.

Anyway, Commander, anything happen, or is it just the vulnerable position of your queen that should be worrying us?" Officer Walker had said cheekily.

Trelor scratched his head muttering under his breath small words only he heard, he hoped. Terra 1 moved and checkmated him by taking his queen and placing his king in an unescapable check. i believe that is checkmate Commander, would you like to play again?"

"Thankyou Terra 1 for a.....interesting game. Yes lets play another, after you answer the question I asked."

Terra 1

Terra sorted through files, red warnign messages flashing upa nd being overridden again and again.the files here were encrypted heavily, and only the direct Commander's command kept even Terra One itself from accesing the information.
finally,a small file opened, unfolding in front of Terra's view, which promptly filled the main screen.
"This is an early sattelite photo from before the Discovery's launch. It was at first brought to light, then buried wiht a false claim of a mistake in the phote, marking teh planet as barren. However,it was not barren,as the public was led to believe.Closer data taken by government sattelites allowed scientists to discover that surrounding the planet were unnatural objects orbiting it,just as earth itself contained.
Of course earth's government decided this information was to sensitive for the public at large to know.It was hushed and the Discovery launch was made a top priority and the information was buried for the moment.
a month prior to the launch of the Discovery, an unidentified craft was subdued and captured within sight of the Discovery .Again the inciedent was hushed."at this the screen showed a strange, oblong shaped ship, with numerous objects dotting and poking out over its hull."the ship took roughly the same amount of punishment Terra One could accept, scaled down to a small,fighter-class vessel. The ship was finally cut open along its hull in a lab on planet side, and Earth's scientists found these."with that, the screen changed, showing a floating tube filled with a nonhuman, dead, but intelligent-looking being....

Commander Treloar Noviscum

Treloar knew that the computer was accessing the necessary archives and databanks to answer his question he had put forward to Terra 1. His rank would bypass the password and red tape that meant it was restricted information. Treloar felt sooner or later, he and his crew would need to know this information, and it was the right time now to know, because who knew what lay ahead, it was better to be ready and waiting then falling into a situation ill-prepared.

So they waited for Terra 1 to answer and in due time the super computer did.

"This is an early sattelite photo from before the Discovery's launch. It was at first brought to light, then buried wiht a false claim of a mistake in the phote, marking teh planet as barren. However,it was not barren,as the public was led to believe.Closer data taken by government sattelites allowed scientists to discover that surrounding the planet were unnatural objects orbiting it,just as earth itself contained."

The Commander looked at the images clearly intrigued. This was all new to him and he knew it was new to the others as well. Much of Terra's beginnings were restricted even to him, but now, now pieces were slowly moving together. So there is other life, other than us, as intelligent or more so. Actually some would be very intelligent. Treloar thought this over in his own head.

"A month prior to the launch of the Discovery, an unidentified craft was subdued and captured within sight of the Discovery .Again the inciedent was hushed." Terra 1 continued.

The image on the screen was one month before the launch of the DISCOVERY, an alien ship had been captured and opened to show an intelligent being encased within.

"One further question, based on the information at hand, do you believe that these alien species should be considered hostile?"

Treloar mused over the images studying them as he awaited an answer again from Terra 1.

The screen changed once more, revealing a shot that must have been taken from a camera outside a small fighter that had been a part of the subduieng of the craft.a voice spoke througha com channel, though ti was in a different language, then it was repeated in a different language, wiht no change from teh craft.
"the pilot of the ship this footage is taken from was attempting to communicate with the alien craft.none of Earth's hundreds of dialects and languages worked. Finally, without any response Earth forces attacked it as ti drew close to the Discovery ."The screen showed an archaic missle pod fire a barrage at the craft.the craft shimmered in an erily familiar way, leaving the missles expended but the craft safe.it continued its study, until the fighter an a number of others convened and fired again.again, there was no damage to the alien craft,it spun in palce and there was a brief flash of light.the screen shifted, dissolving into the view from another fighter.the fighter had been cut in half, only its wings floating, melted on eihter side in space.
"Luckily by then the Discovery 's own armament was brought to bear."
from the Discovery small turrets popped open, sending missles and machine guns fired, sending tehc raft rolling, flashing silver all voer as it was bombarded. After a full 10 minutes of barrage the craft flipped over and went dead, the lights along its hull going out,a large burnt crater against one side.
"Unluckily after the incedent,Earth's forces could not garuntee that the alien craft ahd been friendly or foe.3 months after the capture of the craft,a scientist found a small panel blinking slowly, and reported it.Astronomers observed an increased number of alien objects surrounding the alien planet, and though concerned, the government again hushed evrything up.a week after the finding Discovery was launched.Currently estimates lean with a 52.3% margin that the aliens are currently hostile, and if in fact the aliens were hostile, and if they have attacked Earth, which has a 99.98% chance at the current time(considering theya re hostile),statistics believe Earth's past defenses have a 1.27% chance of repeling an attack, based upon the observance of the small craft captured."

Commander Treloar Noviscum

Commander Treloar leaned back in his commander's chair placing his hands steepled underneath his chin. He listened carefully to the presentation audio and video and image wise that Terra 1 was detailing regarding his pertinant question.

"Currently estimates lean with a 52.3% margin that the aliens are currently hostile, and if in fact the aliens were hostile, and if they have attacked Earth, which has a 99.98% chance at the current time(considering theya re hostile),statistics believe Earth's past defenses have a 1.27% chance of repeling an attack, based upon the observance of the small craft captured."

When Terra 1 finished the answer, a silence filled the room as each person took in the information. In a quiet yet firm voice, Treloar spoke up;

"Terra 1 can you send all the detailed information you presented to each crew members data pad. Furthermore, please scan at a continual time frame for any ships matching these aliens. Notify myself or Officer Kitka Seerzman if any ships or ship is located."

Treloar stayed silent for a few seconds before continuing, his mind focusing on a new train of thought. "Terra 1, what is the nearest star system or planet we are closest too. It's time that we begin what one of our mission directives are - exploration."

Treloar now focused on the holographic chessboard.
