I'm a little unsure about e-stim. I have jsut gotten into prostate stimulation which is okay for the most part. I'm trying to look for more and I have heard about e-stim, but not sure if it really makes a difference.

Is it something worth trying out? Does it really work every time

I have a Zeus unit (http://www.zeuselectrosex.com/vf170.php) that is great. It comes with pads that connect to the electrodes, but they don't attach to the body that well. I also bought a set of elastic bands (http://www.zeuselectrosex.com/fp300.php) that have electrodes attached ... those work great! The system I have is battery powered and allows you to adjust the intensity of the electricity as well as the way the electricity is administered - a series of charges that descend in intensity, then ramp back up; a sustained charge that goes up and down, etc. I find that with the Zeus and some porn, I can cum without using a hand on my cock. the electric charges simply stimulate me over the edge. The current provided by the USB port and audio output can not be used directly. One way to play is to use an inexpensive iPod dock plus some parts from Radio Shack to convert the audio output signal into something that feels good. There are instructions on the smart stim site.

The USB port can be used to power the iPod dock in place of batteries, but is not used directly for stimulation. Likewise you don't use the audio output directly. The magic is in the extra parts. The short "laymen's" explanation is that transformers are added to step the voltage up and provide electrical isolation from the power sources.
