"You're...three hundred? Damn...that's...ancient. " Rose managed to close her mouth.

"I'm Rose, only twenty one by the the way. No wonder you though I was so young....What'
s your name?"

Thildemar:

Not able to bring himself to respond to Rose as quickly as a human would expect Thildemar could just nod. "I am,,, Three hundred of your years old..."

Rose

I nod at his response. Damn. He was old...I focus my attention back on him awaiting his response to my other questions...

Thildemar:

"My name is Thildemar... It means I am a latent thorn, in your tounge..." He said as he lowered his eyes to the ground and turned away.

"I like it..." Rose said slowly nodding. At his actions she raised an eyebrow.

"I take it you don't?"

Thildemar:

"It is ment to be worn with shame... You see, i cannot procreate... I never have been able to... So, the elders gave me my name. They see me as a child still, though I am well into my adulthood."

"It's nothing to be ashamed of... But you can't procreate..." She stopped.

"You can't...do it? At all?" Rose simply looked curious.

Thildemar:

"Oh, I can make love but... I'm... Sterile..." He said, his voice echoing with emptiness.

"Well you can do the important part at least." Rose stopped.

"I mean...some people can't right? I mean..." she stopped embarresed.

"Isn't there something magic can do?"

Thildemar:

Smiling a little at Rose's embarressed expression Thildemar walked to a seat across from her and sat, taking the time to form an explination for her about his sterility.

"Yes, it would help... It would give me the ability to empregnate but it would not be my own child... It would be a creation of magic... I am empty... Filling me with arcane life would be pointless as it would be borrowed life."

"I see...." Rose's expression darkened in thought.

"I'm sorry...I wish I could help in someway..."

Ariadne:

Ariadne finished pleasuring herself, finally and sighed. She might as well face her fate, as the elders had decreed it. Turning, she spotted her guard almost instantly and began to blush at what he clearly saw. Her blush turned to heat then and she called out,"Gildmar, I see you. I know my brother put you on me to guard me and I know you saw me."

She heard a thump after he had momentarily disappeared from view and then he appeared at the edge of her clearing. "Your brother told me to keep you from harm,"he said.

Ariadne arched an eyebrow and meandered closer to him. "So he did...Did you like what you saw, guard?"

Giamond Gildmar:

With a dark smile Giamond nodded, not a trace of embarrassment in him. "Yes what I saw was beauty, little one." The humor slipped from his face almost instantly as he continued. "I am sorry that Undar is being forced on you Aria..." He always called her that, or little one. "If I were still able I would challenge the lout for your hand..."

So focused on Aria he was that he did not notice the twenty trolls out in the woods all around them, setting up an ambush.

Thildemar:

Snapping his gaze up at that, locking eyes with Rose, the teeth in his hair clacking with aggitation. "Well, you can't! No one can!" He said sharply, pain odvious in his eyes. Rose visibly stunned by his sudden outburst could just stare back mutely. A moment later Thildemar broke their stare and said. "I... I'm sorry, I am ment to make you feel at home... Forgive me if I have put you ill at ease here..."

"It doesn't matter," I said pulling my cold collected face back on.

"The wizard was apparently wrong...I don't think I'll find anything but more pain here..."

Thildemar:

Standing and setting about to start a fire for Rose, Thildemar searched for something to say to set her at ease and assure her that her reunion with her elven parent would be a joyous one... He would make sure of that, for he had never had anyone acknowledge him as the adult that he was, and he wanted to return that respect to her now.

Ariadne smiled at Gildmar's words and moved closer, entwining her arms around his shoulders, her naked body pressed to him.

"I know you are not fertile, my guard,"she softly said,"So you cannot plant your seed in me, like Undar can. So,"she continued, cocking her head and lightly grinding her body against his,"What harm can come of our comforting each other?"

Her eyes met his and although, she could feel him resisting, he allowed her to pull his head to hers. She kissed his lips softly and then with a slight bite, opened them to flick her tongue within. He groaned then and his tongue met her just before a troll below broke them apart.

Giamond Gildmar:

Thrown off his guard by Aria's kiss and the feel of her against him, her hunger bringing him into awareness of his own... Too late though, for the trolls set upon them, their furiosity and number greatly overpowering the two of them.

The fight was a blur, Giamond was able to kill two and wound three more before he was just simply overpowered. He recieved a nasty gapping cut along his gut, sapping his strength, and his speed. Lacking his only edges in combat he fell to a sharp blow to the head. Uncontious, he was kicked aside, leaving Aria to fend for herself.

Fear gripped her as she realized that they did not intend to kill them.. Not just yet, that is...

Ariadne trembled and screamed Gildmar's name and for help, as some trolls roughly pulled him away by the hair. Another two held her naked body and a third ran thick green fingers slapped her first to quiet her and then ran his hand over her breasts, belly and legs. He snorted something in his language to the other two holding her, his fetid breath tickling her nose. Roughly he parted her legs and thrust one large, hairy finger into her still wet cunt. He grunted in delight at her moisture.

"OH!"she yelped and then cursed her own body. Despite the fear she felt, her fertility was taking over telling her a virile male was nearby. STOP, she told herself silently, as the trolls conferred. Shaking, she wondered what would happen next.

Troll encampment:

Less than half an hour and both Giamond and Aria were taken to the trolls camp. the two of them were tossed into a simple wooden cage. Aria's cloths were taken and ripped to shreads and used to kindle a fire. The troll that had fingered her made his way toward the cage. Another troll obviously had the same idea as he and stepped in front of him, blocking his path. They started to grunt and bark threateningly at one another. Their agressive displays quickly escalated into a bloody fight. Their barks and hisses brought Giamond back to contiousness. "Aria..." He said, his voice no more than a faded whisper. His hands went to the wound along his stomach. His body tensed up and he made a sound of unspeakable pain.

Rose

Rose sighed as she watched Thildemar start the fire. She felt the shadows move around her like waves on a lake. Her shadow companions were another mystery in a long line of them. The shadows, it seemed, had been with her since birth. They did what she asked and sometimes more. She still bore the marks of those who had called her a black magic user because of them. She shiver softly, forced out of her thoughts suddenly by a whispery shadow brush on her mind.

"Thildemar?" she asked hesitantly.

"Do you have a sister named Ariadne?"

Thildemar:

After starting the fire Thildemar turned back to Rose. "Yes, she is my younger sister... How do you know her name?" He asked a look of surprise crossed his face.

"I..." the shadows nudged a bit forcefully.

"The shadows say that trolls took her and..." she listened. "Another man only a bit ago..."

Thildemar:

"What?!" Thildemar barked, doing a double take at this. "How do you know this?" He hesitated for a moment, looking suspisiously about the room, at the shadows in every corner darkened corner that the light from the fire could not reach. They shook, aggitated by the foul light. For an instant Thildemar thought he saw the shadow outline of a clawed hand snaking out from the darkness of one of the corners. "What foul magic is this?!" He hissed as he whipped out a dagger that was hidden inside his shirt.

Rose flinched at his tone.

"No magic really..." she said softly. The shadows curled around her in protection at his tone. A claw formed in the darkness and she called it off.

"I...I'm sorry...I just thought..." Rose stopped, feeling a bit like a stranger again. Always the odd one, no matter what.

"I can show you where they are..." she continued in a softer tone.
