Shhhh don't be jealous.
A question huh? Alright. I've got one.
Let's talk about hmm, what word to use.... exclusivity!
If you are involved with someone online what does that mean to you in terms of monogamy or exclusiveness?
Do you fool around with whoever you want because this is lit and you don't do exclusive? Do you flirt openly in public but keep anything more reserved only for them?Do you flirt only with them? Do you make exceptions?
Bonus: Do you get jealous?
Extra bonus: Define "flirt"
I’ll give this question a go. I have a few online friends. Some are closer than others. On Lit, there is no one who I am exclusive with, and I don’t think that anyone I talk to has any desire for anything different than close friendships at most. It seems to me that Lit is designed for flirtatious fun, so exclusivity would be hard to maintain. I like flirting in public. I prefer that anything beyond that usually would be best in private-(except for that thread “fuck your partner in 10 posts or less”). That’s really hot. If I’m in that sort of mood then that’s fine too.
Off of Lit, or having met an online friend that is not from a similar place like Lit, I think it’s different.
Do I get jealous? Hmm I think that as long as I know that a friend still thinks I’m sexy and let’s me know it, then I would be fine. If he started using the same line or saying something that was specific and special about me to someone else, that would piss me off. I get upset if something ends up being insincere.
Flirting: talking to, joking around with someone in a way that shows that you think they are attractive or discussing subjects of a sexual manner.
You're such a nice guy!
