Endless Curiosity III

*plays with your hair*
Shhhh don't be jealous. ;)

A question huh? Alright. I've got one.

Let's talk about hmm, what word to use.... exclusivity!

If you are involved with someone online what does that mean to you in terms of monogamy or exclusiveness?
Do you fool around with whoever you want because this is lit and you don't do exclusive? Do you flirt openly in public but keep anything more reserved only for them?Do you flirt only with them? Do you make exceptions?

Bonus: Do you get jealous?
Extra bonus: Define "flirt"

I’ll give this question a go. I have a few online friends. Some are closer than others. On Lit, there is no one who I am exclusive with, and I don’t think that anyone I talk to has any desire for anything different than close friendships at most. It seems to me that Lit is designed for flirtatious fun, so exclusivity would be hard to maintain. I like flirting in public. I prefer that anything beyond that usually would be best in private-(except for that thread “fuck your partner in 10 posts or less”). That’s really hot. If I’m in that sort of mood then that’s fine too.

Off of Lit, or having met an online friend that is not from a similar place like Lit, I think it’s different.

Do I get jealous? Hmm I think that as long as I know that a friend still thinks I’m sexy and let’s me know it, then I would be fine. If he started using the same line or saying something that was specific and special about me to someone else, that would piss me off. I get upset if something ends up being insincere.

Flirting: talking to, joking around with someone in a way that shows that you think they are attractive or discussing subjects of a sexual manner.

Well for me it's that the majority of my online availability will benefit them. It's also that I will not sext anyone else.
Lolly was surprised I wasn't already exclusive with someone else, her words were " she was surprised to find im single"

Do you fool around with whoever you want because this is lit and you don't do exclusive? Do you flirt openly in public but keep anything more reserved only for them?
I'm exclusive to Lolly, but when we first started chatting I offered to stop my flirting and she said not to as it wasn't necessary.

Do you flirt only with them? no I will flirt with almost anyone, with a few exceptions.

Do you make exceptions? yes. Not saying who

Bonus: Do you get jealous? Not really.

Extra bonus: Define "flirt" behave as though sexually attracted to someone, but playfully rather than with serious intentions

Let's talk about hmm, what word to use.... exclusivity!

If you are involved with someone online what does that mean to you in terms of monogamy or exclusiveness? I do not need exclusiveness FROM the other person. I also do not need monogamy. What I DO need is exclusiveness while we are playing online. I want their attention at the least. I always suspect that women are doing their dishes, or watching a TV show while chatting/playing with me. Some i KNOW are also, simultaneously, playing with someone else. That always defeats me.

Do you fool around with whoever you want because this is lit and you don't do exclusive? I am exclusive while playing. By that I mean almost every "affair" on lit I've had has lasted less than a week. No long-term romance online has occurred. Some have gone a little longer, but I've found that the affair is literally in the moment. As soon as I log off, or take a day or two off of lit, the affair has ended and the woman has already been busy with others. That's to be expected with the 20-to-1 ratio of gents to ladies I suppose.

Do you flirt openly in public but keep anything more reserved only for them? Yes, when I am actually connecting with a woman. Again, since the affairs last less than a week typically, it isn't much of a challenge to staty exclusive during that time frame.

Do you flirt only with them? Do you make exceptions? I flirt a lot - with anyone who strikes my fancy. I intentionally look for women that haven't received much attention from others lately and flirt with them whenever possible. I like trying to make women feel pretty and desirable - especially if I don't think they've received enough attention. I want the women to feel good about themselves.

Bonus: Do you get jealous? More hurt than jealous. I assume that, for this brief period of time, we are connecting and just want to make each other pleased and happy. The hurt part happens when I find the brief period of time to have been VERY brief and there really was no connection at all.

Extra bonus: Define "flirt"
Flirting to me is when, regardless of intention, a person goes out of their way to make the other feel desirable. I hope i do that a lot while on lit.

Thankful that Lit helps me through the difficulty, disappointment, loneliness and reality of now being in a sexless marriage. So as of recently, my endless curiosity continues in fantasy explorations, and now also entertaining possibilities to meet someone here for an erotic encounter.

humm...

A 13 yr old boy is being drugged. He stops taking the drugs and starts feel aroused. He finds out he was the product of a 12 yr old being artificially inseminated, then as a toddler he was given to his "parents". Those girls are the only ones the government doesn't drug. Only the best babies make in to being "placed" with parents, the others are put to sleep, killed, by the government. He finds out his brother is set to be put to sleep and his father is going to do it so he escapes with his brother, on a bike.

.... This is an award winning children's book that was assigned reading for my kiddo (10 yrs old)...

:eek::eek::eek::eek:

My bad, he is 12, not 13. From amazon "the 1994 Newbery Medal winner, has become one of the most influential novels of our time. The haunting story centers on twelve-year-old J****, who lives in a seemingly ideal, if colorless, world of conformity and contentment. Not until he is given his life assignment as the Receiver of Memory does he begin to understand the dark, complex secrets behind his fragile community."

It is a great book... just not for a 4th grader.

Describe your favorite book or film without using its title.

Bonus points if you do it with rhyme or alliteration.
A romance of redemption, reconciliation and reinvention
A rip-roaring rollercoaster ride set in soporific suburbs
Comically cursed by a community of crazed cadavers

Extra bonus: Why do you like it? Does it make you laugh? Help you cry? Remind you of a loved one?
All of the above. :D

Random bonus: What do you normally get at the concession stand? Do you share?
Nothing usually. Even by London standards, the pricing of drinks and snacks in cinema foyers seems absurdly steep, and I'm primarily there to watch a film rather than slurp and munch.

Also random: What's in the theaters now that you want to see? Any movies coming out soon that you're looking forward to?
A Quiet Place sounds worth a look, judging by reviews and comments from friends who have seen it. Do not crunch popcorn at this one! You'll annoy a lot of people. ;)
.

Bonus points if you do it with rhyme or alliteration.
A young farmboy runs away with an old hermit
His family murdered for buying slaves who are wanted
Meets up with his sister and commits incest, theres a walking carpet
Murders thousands of innocent workers blowing up enemy base.

Extra bonus: Why do you like it? Does it make you laugh? Help you cry? Remind you of a loved one?
It's my favourite film since being a child.

Random bonus: What do you normally get at the concession stand? Do you share?
Drink (sprite) galaxy minstrel's
Yes I share, the kids usually have the most.

Also random: What's in the theaters now that you want to see? Any movies coming out soon that you're looking forward to?
I'm not much of a cinema goer as other patrons annoy me:D
But I want to see infinity war.

Describe your favorite book or film without using its title.
I've read this book many times
There's inspiration within its quoted lines
There are secrets hidden in plain sight
But each read motivates with new light
When a project is near, I read with affection
It clears my mind and gives me direction.

Bonus points if you do it with rhyme or alliteration. Simple rhyme it is.

Extra bonus: Why do you like it? Does it make you laugh? Help you cry? Remind you of a loved one? It was first read years ago in search of the secrets of wealth. But, over the years and the many reads, the wealth hidden within was achieved through the focus of inspiration and creativity it could produce.

Random bonus: What do you normally get at the concession stand? Do you share? I am a sucker for theater popcorn and never can pass it up. Yep, it's crazy that they can charge 7 bucks for 38 cents worth of popped corn but it's the little kid in me still smelling it at the door and knowing that was a major treat in my childhood to have popcorn with a movie. Nowadays the concessions can cost more than the freaking movie. But That little boy in the back of my head always insists on having a tub of popcorn... no matter if it is highway robbery!

Also random: What's in the theaters now that you want to see? Any movies coming out soon that you're looking forward to?
I will probably check out Avengers:Infinity War when it gets here in the next few weeks and then look forward to the Guardians of The Galaxy release later on because they are just mindless entertainment and that's what I enjoy on the big screen.

Favorite Book(s): Witches and Wizards wander wonderingly, worrying about wicked ones, while wisdom works wonderful waxing.

Extra Bonus: I like it because it's a classic tale of good vs evil. The magic stuff ends up playing a small role, really, when you look at it. It's a series of books that is really about how love will triumph every time.

Random Bonus: And the MOVIE concession stand....ahhhh....
Popcorn and a drink. Always.. and yes, I ALWAYS share the popcorn. It's more fun that way!

Also Random: A wrinkle in time.

I want to learn how to make Damascus steel. That’s amore complex form of forge welding that I know how to do now even though it was done long before today’s tools and technology.

I’d have to make a list of Lister’s with job skills and talents I admire. We have amazingly talented artists, medical professionals, builders and creators. There are numbers crunchers, hospitality professionals, chefs and software professionals. I would be remiss in mentioning the remarkable childrearing and homemaking skills of so many of the ladies here. Many of these ladies have chosen this as their most important avocation and do it well.

One of my favorite threads is back up and running!!!!!

So, I always wanted to be able to draw. Just pick up a pencil and paper and boom there it is--whatever I'm looking at. I think that would be one of the best talents for me to have. It's simple and creative, unfortunately I'm one of the worst draw-ers (artists?) on the planet. My stick figures are hard to discern.

I don't know a lister who can draw, but Tink can paint like you can't even believe, she is amazingly talented, and I'm going to call that close enough.

I'm currently learning guitar. I'd like to get a lot better at it.

Also, I'd really like to be better at fiberglass repair.....

I think it's UnchainedWordist who I've heard play guitar? I'm pretty sure that's right. I think he's pretty good. Maybe even in this thread?? Am I remembering that right?

Anyway, there you go.

I'd like to learn to give a prostate orgasm, and a hand job. Both mind-blowing, of course.

If I'm not mistaken, do rae me can belly dance. I'd like to learn that, too! Also tai chi.

Oh, and I'd like to learn shape note singing. Very cool.
