Endless Curiosity

I miss the litties. My first night in the playground was during one of the litties events, and I am so glad to have met Mr. Clowns that night.

Can't you coax him back for a one-night-only Litties event?! I miss those... and him.
*tear

I miss IHC, too. :(

I'd like to see a thread suggestion thread. You know, like Netflix suggestions. I tend to go straight to my User CP and check out my subscribed threads, then log off. I miss out on the new and fabulous things you Litsters come up with.

Confession: If a thread rolls past page 2 and I'm not already subscribed, it's pretty much dead to me. Yeah, I'm that lazy.

You're not the only one. Exactly the way I do it. I'm sure I miss some great new threads.

I’ve mentioned before wanting an Answer thread. A place you can ask question and and get answers. Not particularly relevant questions you understand, just the silly piffle that enters my mind. :D

I know someone used to have a thread where folks ask him questions and they got answers.....I can't remember who started it though......I think it was Ask A.....A.........It'll come to me......;)

Psst.....check my profile under threads I started. ;)

I can try. He's a busy man these days and obviously needs his time away. It's a shame for us, but imagine how his family must feel getting his undivided, less erect attention.

I'm with you. I barely scroll through New threads these days, do unless I'm subscribed, I'm oblivious.

We've seen many Litsters come and go. What kind of Litster are you? A forever Litster, a fast burner, or one that slowly fades away?

I think Lit is like when you join school, you are surrounded by names that you recognise and grow with, some may come to mean more to you than you could ever imagine, others you just bounce off and have fun with. Many then go off into the world when lit has served its purpose

Lit is like a big pond you jump in and make a ripple, those ripples will fade but always be there for those wishing to find them.

Very eloquently put. ;)

We all like our little luxuries. Tastes and expenditure may vary, but how do you indulge yourself? What do you spend more money on than you should? C’mon, we won’t tell. ;)

Coffee. I like good coffee.

And I indulge in a massage/mani/pedi every month ... which benefits the entire household :)

Easy one for me. Wine. Fruit of the vine. Vino. Cheers!

LOL You do that for their benefit???

I'm not totally buying that. Sounds like an excuse to pay a little extra for better massage.

I spend it on Mrs MF. It gives me a lot of pleasure to indulge her (especially if it involves buying her lingerie!), and she doesn't complain about me doing so (well, not much), so it's a win-win! :D
.

My skin. I am particular. A throw back to a significant case of teenager acne, no doubt. I spend a tidy sum yearly on microderms, facials, mini peels, and pricey skin care products. More than I spend on shoes. :D

I used to do this^, back before my time became so crunched. *sigh*

I miss the pampering. My household misses it, too, let me tell ya. :D

It's amazing what a massage can do for one's stress level.

*toodles off to book a massage*

I agree with this; maybe I'm more of one of those faded ripples, than a wave that continues on....

It is, indeed! :)

I'm good at giving massages. I have a qualification to do so! The problem is that, after giving a massage, I then one myself to relieve the tension, so it seems like a zero sum game.

Inspi, I believe the thread has backed me up here. When mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. And massages make this mama happy.

And of course I do it for myself! But in taking care of myself, I'm better able to take care of others... so indeed, the entire household benefits!

I know that. Just pulling your leg with the way it sounded as an excuse.

I fully believe that when mama is happy, everyone is happier.

At the moment anything to do with curry, that spans from growing chillies, buying the pans / spices / herbs, to cooking and scoffing the stuff, i find cooking it quite therapeutic.

I have to agree with Mickyp123 here. The items I splurge on the most have to be either cooking myself or trying new dishes at my favorite restaurants. I love great food and good conversations. If I am lucky enough to combine the two, well that's just heavenly.
