More interesting? More sex, gossip and rumor mongering, naturally. The return of the 'old Slinger' would be fabulously entertaining, but I don't see that happening.

I always thought some sort of 'Dating Game' or 'Spin the Bottle' thread would be fun where Litster contestants would be paired up anonymously by the host (maybe under assigned alts) and only after a good round of cyber or trip to the Lit Kissing Closet, would their true identities be revealed to each other and the Lit public.

Time spent? Lately, less on the boards. More, off the boards, and that's alright

I don't have any problem with chat - it's always working when I open it.

Litties are always fun, but that's mostly because of the emcee, clowns.

I think what makes it better is having more threads like this one, where there is actually discussion and chatter and lots of fun without it dissolving into complete drivel.

I wish there was a way to tag people. Not like the way photos and events get tagged on FB tho. More as a way to beckon others into a particular convo of interest.

Oh, it's a long story. Narrowly edging out one of my favorite tales that took me hours and hours to get through. I was having a cold drink and clumsy me spilled it near the end and I had a huge mess on my hands

Interesting. I was actually thinking something more...Lit interactive. As in having to find things on site, possibly having to decipher clues to run down your object. Something spread across all the boards, possibly spilling into the story section.

On a practical note, if thread starters could remove violating photos themselves, that might save some thread deletion drama.

But for me when Lit is at its best is when a thread suddenly comes alive spontaneously, a derail, an unexpected public flirt, a topic that just catches the moment somehow. Some pile in, undoubtedly many more lurk, but it's as if there's a sudden golden hour, filth shared and enjoyed across the world

Difficult to provoke though. Maybe that's part of its charm when it does happen.

Those are good, but not when it's just two or three people. The best is when everyone is posting and the excitement is palpable! I still recall the time a few of us took over a thread and we were going to a bar. Whoever showed up was invited. We even had a designated driver, and Ponydriver was looking for my shoes so they'd let us in.

some of the quiz and competition threads were really great fun...thd 6 degrees movie thread was awesome, really engaging and challenging and some of the music and competition threads that DB and Lovemonster set up really got people involved...Moony's quiz made him a still much missed legend on the board...and the playground was truly a playground...the connections and friendships made have been enduring. The problem with those kinds of threads are the amount of time and effort that goes into sustaining them. Nobody really has that kind of time any more...
