I had an Alt for a short while. About a year after I joined Lit when I first decided to start doing SRP. Back then I was less comfortable with my, errr, sexual interests (Unlike the sexual free spirit I am now! ). It seemed like a good idea to write under a different name.

I did a little information gathering (no one I normally spoke to) but quickly realized I wouldn't be able to hold up the subterfuge. Dissimilation is not one of my talents rolleyes. I ended up dumping the alt and writing under my own name.

Several months after I stopped writing I logged back into the alt to see if I needed any of the info in the PMs. While reading through, I was also surfing Lit. Then apparently not realizing I was not "me" I -

ACCIDENTALLY POSTED!!!

Holy crap.

I'd never even posted from that account before! The horror! I quickly erased the post and logged out. The next day I went back in to finish with the PMs and -

DID IT AGAIN. :|

Honestly. There are days I shouldn't be let out on my own. *shakes head*

And, yeah. Those who use alts to be a douche to other people suck.

Been there. Done that. (posted under the wrong account) I did it once while writing SRP. Suddenly in the middle of a SRP thread I had created this odd post by another username!! And no way to remove that post. I could empty it, but the "post" remained forever.

THAT was embarrassing.

A good reason to not have Alts.
