That keeps getting push down the list on rehab priority. Most of my clothes and shoes are packed in boxes.


Well, I'm working on finishing up part of a project, so fun times won't start until this weekend, but, on the agenda so far:

Food
-Omakase at a new Sushi restaurant
-A visit to the artisan chocolatier

Spa Day:
-Thai massage
-Sugar scrub
-Body butter wrap
-Lymphatic facial

Alternative Healing -
-Chakra balancing
-Reiki

*Vietnamese Head Spa (Something I stumbled on last year that is ahmazing!)

Presents *squeals*

Annual visit to tattoo shops with Bestie. We go every year. In the hopes of finding a design I'm willing to have permanently inked on my body. The search is pushing ten years.

Probably the theater or ballet, possibly a CBD massage (I'm curious), and, of course, SHOPPING.

I'm unlikely to purchase, as I have no closet, but a girl has to keep in practice.

That sounds like an excellent birthday plan and I love that you make such an event of it!

The fact that you tattoo “window shop” cracks me up, but it sounds really fun. I don’t have many, but I absolutely love tattoos. They’re gorgeous art to me.

It rained last night.

Which, great. We need the rain. However, it does make exiting the five-foot deep gully one has descended into to remove what seems to be some type of wildly prolific giant cattail that resembles a throwback from the Cretaceous period - a tad problematic.

Naturally I did not realize this until I was in situ.

And it had started to rain. Again.

I will spare the details of how long it took me to scramble out. Or the struggle to undo the double tie on my boots and shuck wet, mud-covered jeans before sprinting in record time to the back door. Bare legged is cooooooooold.

Shower. Hot.

The rest of the day will be spent on my bottom and sulking. Maybe some bad horror movies and purchasing skin care, too, but mostly sulking.

I'd never heard of such until I was gifted one last year. I am so sad at all the opportunities lost.

Well, what I really want is a little vintage sports car. However, as there is no place for it to shelter at the moment, it's on hold. Which is fine. It gives my SO more time to adjust to the expenditure.

Enny, let me put you at ease about this . . . "CBD will not show up in a drug test. Drug tests usually look for THC, the psychotic component. Since hemp-derived CBD contains less than 0.3% THC, it won't cause a psychotic effect on the user. Hence, it won't show up on a drug test."

I don’t have a white tattoo…yet! I’ve been seriously considering getting a large white tattoo across a large part of my back though. I know the risks and that it might fade/disappear, but I think I might go for it anyway.

I tend to buy myself what I want, so it’s often hard for me to think of things for my wish list. Plus Santa delivered my most coveted things already, including a 15.5 quart French oven. I have a weakness for high end cookware

But the two things I really do want are to finish the rolling library ladder for my staircase bookshelf and a secret passage bookshelf for my bedroom leading into my closet

One wall in my bedroom is basically 75% closet doors which is really silly. So removing them, combining the two closets, and installing a bookcase with a secret door that both looks way cooler and is functional storage would be such an upgrade!

I admit I seriously considered a huge wardrobe with the false back entrance, but that’s not as practical. Even if it would delight me.

They do a dry brush followed by a high potency salve and shiatsu combination. It's supposed to be very stress reducing.

Not really. The farmhouse being rehabbed is 100 years old. The bedrooms are upstairs, in what was originally the attic. The closets and an additional half bath are being creatively carved out of the eaves.

Space is tight.

Le Creuset is my favorite, but I have a couple of Staub as well. I’ve been slowly replacing all my previous pans with them and it’s addicting. I even have some of the seasonal pieces and love having different ones on my stove at various times of the year.

It’s such a beast! It’s oval in their new Agave color and you can practically take a bath in it Plus it’s like a workout using it.
