English Accent...

Haha, yes, Peter Sellers is amazing! Found out recently that David Niven really hated him for upstaging him in The Pink Panther

English guy, loves to talk on the phone, knows how to use his accent and voice for maximum satisfaction.....

I admit to having a special weakness for voice chats with sexy 45ish male Brits....the sound of their voice in my ear pushing me to the edge...and over....:D

I've got quite a strong Bristolian accent. Unfortunately, that sometimes means I get taken less seriously than I'd like, and get requests for the words "cider", "combine harvester" and "my lover".

That said, if I meet anyone from any other area of the UK, I tend to drop the accent a bit. I'm fairly good at impersonating accents (if stereotypical ones at times), so that works as a random ice breaker too.

I love Irish, American and Russian accents. No idea why, but I could happily listen to an attractive womn with any of those accents for hours.

The Bristolian accent is definitely one of my absolute favs :D I would never want you to tone it down lol! I have a fairly common London accent...can be a bit cockney and can also sound posh if that's more to your liking!!!

It's a shame typing doesn't convey accents, unless you try and type phonetically, then it just looks odd, e.g: " 'roight, moi luuve?"

Thankfully, I speak properly with Bristolian, so you'll hear no "cheers, drive" etc from me. Just rolling r's and a general softness to my words.

Mmmm, rolling r's and a soft accent.....(help).... :kiss::kiss::kiss: ;)

Ahh, the good old Yorkshire accent :D You should try looking up a Bristolian accent, Liverpudlian accent and Jordie accent...see if you like those as well ;)
I have two funny books on Geordie accents I bought at the second hand book store here. I love so many of the many different accents from all over England and the British Isles. My grandmother was Irish and my grandfather came from Blackheath.

Yeah, we certainly do have a lot of different accents floating around ;)

I use to work in the travel industry and from time to time would have customers w/ an English/Irish/Scottish/Aussie accent...my great difficulty - adoring those accents and then they grew on me to the extent that w/o meaning to I ended mimicking the accent I was hearing... Something I struggled to NOT do, b/c when it happened I was then accused of mocking the other person :eek:

Aah I like being a Geordie. Whenever I'm on holiday it seems really easy to get talking to people because they get intruiged by where I'm from. I suppose it's not as well known abroad as some of the other accents from around the country.

I went to see Eddie Izzard live once and he was complaining about how impossible he found the accent to mimmick so he just said 'like' at the end of every sentence if he needed to do an impression.
