It's been a rough 24 hours, but also wonderful too.

My dad had to be taken to the hospital last night for what turned out to be pneumonia. He's doing better but is kept overnight yet, but should be home tomorrow. And of course we got some more snow last night.

On the positive side, work was a wonderful distraction and was a relatively light work day. And the snow looked so beautiful on the trees today.

So yeah, a lot of emotions going on.

Hope your dad's okay.

"Lacrymosa" is a Latin word that means "weeping", and it's part of the Roman Catholic Requiem Mass's Dies Irae sequence. The song "Lacrimosa" by the American rock band Evanescence incorporates the Lacrimosa sequence from Mozart's Requiem.

Just did his Requiem this past Spring. But this is a whole new experience!
