Taking a page from @sister jenny and her delightful thread.

Dear diary,

I returned from my vacation today, happy and well rested from visiting friends and having a blast. I bought a new wig to round out my collection - I now have a blonde wig to go along with my brunette, black, and red. *grins*

I bought two pairs of shoes while I out - a pair of heels, and a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor's (I used to wear those a LOT in the 90s while in high school... Chuck Taylor's and flannel baby!)

I also found a collection of the series Space: Above and Beyond on DVD that I've been looking for years, and I look forward to enjoying them!

Was going to do some writing, but didn't have time my friends have a kid that was very boisterous and would've made writing incredibly difficult, so alas that didn't happen. However I did a lot of gaming, and have been reading the novel The Peripheral by William Gibson.

Still taking tomorrow off, so who knows - mayhap I'll get some writing done, but I might end up doing some yardwork tomorrow too.

The time off was so incredibly wonderful - had amazing weather and great food - and had some Chardonnay tonight.
