Eric's Summer Job

Eric was going to be a junior in college. The past two years had gone by fast and he was looking forward to a summer of sun and fun. For the past two summers he had worked at a large water park in Central Florida. He loved being a lifeguard. Where else could you get paid for getting a tan and looking at beautiful girls in bikinis?

Eric looked the part of a lifeguard standing 6’1 he had dark hair, a dark tan and a firm, muscular body. He took pride in his appearance and worked out nearly every day. His body looked like an Italian sculpture with chiseled washboard abs, firm pecs and biceps that just begged to be touched. He got plenty of attention while at the Water Park but the interesting thing about Eric is that he wasn’t cocky, not even a little bit. He was the type of guy that would do anything for anyone. He seemed to be everyone’s best friend. While at work he was always willing to go the extra mile to help with all of the duties. He would go out of his way to make sure the guests where having a great time.

When it came to women Eric was a gentleman. He didn’t really understand why he kept getting attention from guests and lifeguards, he was just, well, they guy next door. He would easily blush when girls approached him to talk or told him how hot he was. It wasn’t that he was a virgin or anything, he was just humble. He tended to be more attracted to athletic girls but he had dated all kinds of different women, that’s just who he was, super nice. He had been asked to join several fraternities while at college but had opted to not join any. He liked the freedom of being with different groups. When it came to the sorority girls on campus, there had been a rumor about Eric that he was rather large below the belt but again, Eric was just as humble as could be. He really had no idea that he was bigger than other guys, he didn’t really worry about it.

This summer would be his best yet. He had been promoted to the Head Lifeguard position. He was going to be walking around the park making sure everything was running smoothly while at the same time talking with guests and making sure they were having the time of their lives.

Simone had just finished High School and would be starting college in the fall. During the school year, her body had developed quickly. She had grown 4 inches to a respectable 5'6 and her body had grown some curves. That spring, a lot of guys who had never noticed her before started asking her out, but she wasn't interested. Starting to date High School boys a few weeks before graduating seemed like a waste, and she could start fresh when she went to college, where nobody knew her.

That summer, she had applied for a job at the water park. It was an hour from her home, but close to where she'd be starting school in the fall, and more importantly, nobody from her school worked there. They might go for a day once or twice, but for the most part, she could start fresh. When she got hired as a life guard, she was thrilled. She'd be able to lay out and tan all day, and get paid to do it, and the owner said it was fine for her to wear a bikini, she just had to wear the cap with the park's logo on it and the lifeguard whistle.

When she showed up the first day, the place was already packed. She found the locker room and changed into her bikini, then went to the life guard office to find her assignment. The girl in the office looked over her paperwork and then smiled.

"Go find Eric," she told Simone. "You'll be going to school with him, and he'll find something for you to do."

Eric arrived early to work. It was the first day for a lot of the new lifeguards and he had to get things started early. He walked into his new office and shut the door. He stripped down and took his red lifeguard suit off the hook on the wall and slipped it up over his muscular legs and tied the drawstring. He made sure his hair was neatly combed and grabbed his whistle, his radio that he had to carry to talk with other managers at the park, his water bottle and his clipboard. He headed out to the large meeting area behind the wave pool where he would his introduction to the new lifeguards, inspect their uniforms and then assign them to duties for the day.

He looked out over the 15 or so new lifeguards. All but one was female and they all looked to be about high school age or early college.

“I’m Eric” he said. Introducing himself to the group. “Today, you will learn a little bit about what it means to be a lifeguard here at Wet and Wild. The first thing is…” He trailed off into why Wet and Wild was the best water park in Central Florida and why they should all be proud to work there. He told them about his time at the water park and that as Head Guard it was his responsibility to make sure everything went perfectly.

He walked around the group and inspected their newly issued Life Guard Bikinis. All of them looked good. He was really pleased with the new recruits this year. This was the best looking group they had had in several years. He smiled as he met each one of them.

“Hi, I’m Eric and you are?” He waited for her response.

“I’m Simone” she said. Smiling back at him. He looked her up and down and asked her to turn around so that he could inspect her suit. Everything looked great. She’s really hot, he thought to himself. He invited her to walk with him as he finished his introductions.

“The first thing each of you will do when you arrive to work is spend one hour working out. It’s important that you stay in tip top shape not only to look good but to be able to rescue those that can’t swim.” He pointed to the workout equipment and motioned for them to get to work. He turned to Simone and invited her to follow him as he did the rounds around the water park. He would take each new lifeguard around on a personal tour but he always seemed to take the best looking girl first.

Simone grinned when Eric picked her out of the line of life guards to show around the place. She had always known she was good looking, but standing in a line up of all those other girls in bikinis she couldn't help feeling like he'd picked her as the best one, even though she knew it was probably just coincidence that he chose her. She walked beside him, trying not to look too hard at him. His body was tall and lean and tan and besides that he had a great smile. Even though he was kind of her boss, she wondered if he was into her.

"So," she said. "The girl in the office says yuo go to the University here? I'm startin gthere in September." She smiled at him when he looked down at her, arching her back just a little. She wasn't thinking about the job at all, just about this gorgeous guy who she was going to be working for.

"Maybe sometime you can tell me what it's like," she said. "I mean, you know, the inside scoop and all that."
