i have always wondered if i have a good story in me, like most. But i wonder is there room for erotic romance instead of erotic porn story.
i have an idea for a story, where a young man of 18 falls in love with a 40 year old woman who lives the other side of the world. But I think it would have to be a romance story Or dose it?

Are you asking whether people here at Literotica would appreciate reading such a story?

I'm sure many would. Not everything here is Penthouse Letters. There's a Romance category, specifically. So if that's what you want to write, there's room for it!

i was wondering if a long distance story could be romance or porn story, a bit of both maybe

Yes. It can be romance. It can be porn. It can be both. It can be neither. It's more of a matter of your vision and your execution.

Also you're saying that you've wondered if you have a good story in me. You won't ever find out until you start writing, even if it is a sentence as cliche as "once upon a time..." Things can be edited for the audience later on, what matters is to put words on paper or word processor.

How far apart are you thinking about? Will they ever meet, or will there be distance all throughout?

Why couldn't it evolve?

I am in about 1300 words. Probably most are garbage but you never know until you read it
Stick to it. It's a well liked genera (having written a few stories with a 40-something woman hooking up with a college aged guy.) I for one would like to read a woman's take on the subject.

from the comments that is the way it would work. start with infatuation of a dream romance correspondence then eventually some kind of meeting then romance becomes lust/love and so on.
It has happened here, so it isn't a stretch.

That's the fun thing about writing it yourself, And the fun of exploring an improbable relationship finding lasting romance.

Make her somewhat of a celebrity aging out of her key roles that were mostly based on her appearance. He's a fan that sends her a letter he never expects to get a reply to. He's enthralled that SHE would ever talk to HIM. Meanwhile SHE is equally thrilled that someone still wants her for HER and not just her screen roles.

They trade a few letters, then some phone calls, each getting a bit more familiar than the last.

It doesn't need to involve modern technology and video calls.

If you think you have a story in you, then, write it. Good written stories, no matter how strange the topic may sound, have a tendency to have a life of their own.

Interesting twist! 🤔

You could add a little SciFi to it; online persona where they meet in virtual worlds. Wear bio synthetic skins that enable them to feel when someone is caressing you thousands of miles away.

Just a thought.

I have a WIP where they meet online and are merely friends, growing tighter as the (six) months go by. Now, with my story it turns out that (surprise) they find out they live in the same town. They date, they fall in love.

It can happen in many different fashions, so whatever works for you is good.

IDK if you're considering phone sex in your story but IMO phone sex is some of the most interesting sex. I don't mean the call-in pay things, although I don't judge anybody who's involved with that, I mean two lovers who are physically apart from each other and still trying to please each other. No need to go into detail on my own experiences but I'll just say they were educational. I aspire to write a story about two people in a situation like that but so far my imagination hasn't been strong enough for me to think of a situation sufficiently unlike my own experiences, which I don't want to share with the world lol

I have thought about this since it was first posted. it sounds a bit to much like fan fiction to me, I would like it not to be about the woman herself. that is loosely me. very loosely, but more about the connection and the boys growth. If or when they meet I want him not to be surprised that she is not the raving sex goddess that he has seen on the silver screen. Making it fan fiction would not fit that mould would it?

What's the saying about meetings one's idols?
