Fangs and Cuffs

"FUCK!" It was a good thing his ear lobe wasn't still between her teeth otherwise Amber would have drawn blood from bitting down when Roderick suddenly filled her. His hands held her perfectly against him as his hips worked back and forth at a steady pace. Her body flexed and cleaned around him, as her head rested back against the shower wall. Roderick's fingers at her neck would flex every so often, as the other cupping her ass did the same.

"A good start, to be sure," rolling her hips against him, Amber let out a soft whine as her clit brushed his body. All that teasing had gotten her just as worked up and ready for the main event.

Amber moved in perfect harmony with Roderick, her hips arching with his. Her upper back was pinned to the wall by her legs grip on his hips and his hand on her neck. Her hips were totally free to gyrate and move. Both were groaning louder, it felt too damn good to keep quiet.

"A good start huh? Lets see if we can improve."

Roderick released his grip on her, her body now wrapped around his to remain connected. He tickled her ribs a little, and she let her legs down until they were both standing again. He pulled out, groaning as he did so, then moved the vampire a little. She was bent at the waist now, her hands on the bench, and Roderick got behind her. Again he gripped her hips and pushed into her in one smooth thrust.

"Oh, FUCK."

Amber let out a low moan as he sank back into her. Roderick had a firm grip on her hips as he started pulling her back into his thrusts. The way the shower floor was designed minimized slipping and right now she was glad for it as his hips slapped against her ass. One hand moved from the bench to the wall just to keep her head from connecting with it on those really hard and deep thrusts. Flipping her hair out of her face Amber looked back at him, watching the play of his muscles as he thrust into her.

Oh yes this was an improvement and she let him know it as the vampire stopped holding back with her moans.

As Amber had noted before, Roderick was in good shape. He made sure to work physically very often, at least once a day if at all possible. So now, with his legs and abs pushing his hips into her, and his arms pulling her back, he was able to generate a fair amount of force. In fact, if he adjusted his angle just a bit, with a really good thrust he could bump the head of his cock against her cervix.

"Oh, fuck me you feel so damn good."

Amber was thrusting her hips back at him, her breasts heaving as they fucked.

"Go on, play with your clit a little. I can feel it against my balls."

When Roderick bottomed out inside of her, Amber let out a high moan. Of course he had to do it a few more times until her thighs trembled and her cunt grew even tighter around her. "So do you, real fucking good." They kept moving together, his balls smacking her clit. The double whammy of that combined with his cock bumping against her cervix had Amber right on the age.

Hearing him tell her to play with her clit while he fucked her took things up a notch. It was nice to know he had a fairly dirty mind to go along with his skills in and out of bed. Looking back at him, Amber let her mouth fall open with a prolonged moan as her fingers teased over the flesh of her swollen clit. She whimpered, rocking back into his thrusts, fingers stroking in time.

"Gods yes, fuck me," voiced filled with need, Amber kept up her self teasing. Her orgasm was building hard and fast and it wasn't long before it hit her. Body trembling, the vampire kept her balance as Roderick fucked her through her orgasm. She continued to move with him through it all.

Roderick could tell that Amber was teasing herself, just building her orgasm that much more. He could see one of her hands was now between her legs, playing with her clit as well as tickling his balls a little with every thrust. While she waited as long as she could, eventually she climaxed, her cunt gripping him tightly and her hips moving through it.

One of the perks of morning erections was they tend not to dissipate easily, and it's quite possible to fuck for some time before reaching climax yourself. Roderick wasn't terribly familiar with this, but was starting to understand. Despite the wonderful sensations, he wasn't a whole lot closer to orgasm. He just continued fucking Amber, right through her orgasm and after it had finished.

"God that felt good, I want to feel it again."

One hand left her hips and snaked up her body, catching her swinging tits and squeezing one at a time as their moans started blending together.

Amber moaned and cried out as Roderick continued to pound away at her. Had she been human she might have called for a break, but as it was the vampire was good to go and more than willing to let him have his way with her. She arched her back and rocked into him as he fucked her. Roderick's hand palmed and squeezed her breast.

She let her head drop as his thrusts rocked her body. Amber whimpered in the back of her throat. The sound of their bodies meeting and their groans filled her ears. "Mmmm Roderick, you feel so fucking good."

"So do you, just fucking perfect."

His hips continued pounding away, fortunately he couldn't last forever. The way Amber's walls were flexing and milking at him felt incredible. He was still pulling her hips back into his thrusts, the other hand gently mauling her breasts, the passion building between them.

"Fuck, I'm not gonna last much longer. I want to cum with you Amber."

Amber could hear his need in his voice, feel it in his thrusts. She rocked back into him harder. Reaching up she grabbed the towel bar, changing the angle of things. Her cunt rippled around his cock as they moved together. It didn't take long though for her orgasm to hit and she screamed with it. Roderick's grip tightened on her and she knew he wasn't far behind her as her body milked his. "Oh yes cum. cum with me." Amber let out a loud gasp as he slammed himself deep into her one more time just as his cum started to fill her.

It didn't take long, Amber's cunt was milking his cock and the sensations were too much. His body thrust hard into her one final time, his head bumping her cervix again and sending him over the edge. Her delicious muscles rippled and stroked him as his cock danced and erupted inside her body.

They remained like that for a long moment, coupled and enjoying the intense moments just after a powerful orgasm. Then Roderick gingerly eased from her body and turned the vampire around for a deep kiss.

"That was incredible."

The water was shut off and they stepped dripping out of shower together and began drying off.

Once she was dry the vampire grabbed her bottle of sunblock and began applying it all over herself. With his help the task took half as much time. Amber then grabbed her robe off the back of the bathroom door as Roderick walked out into the bedroom and put his clothes on from last night. Combing a hand through her hair she walked out after him and watched him dressed.

"Any request for breakfast? Well other than what you've had already." She sat on the corner of her bed casually.

Roderick was grateful that he'd been dressed casually last night, it made putting those clothes back on much easier. Plus they were still comfortable. He knew Amber was watching him, but didn't mind at all. For some reason it felt good, knowing she was watching.

He turned around, Amber looked very casual, sitting on her bed. God, what was wrong with him, he wanted to toss her back onto that bed and stay there all day. Totally impractical, yet it sounded like such a good idea.

"Whatever you've got is fine for breakfast. Also you promised to tell me about Soren. Granted there are much more interesting things I'd rather discuss, but I can't get background information from him directly."

He finished pulling his shirt on and offered Amber his hand.

Amber laughed softly as she let him help her up, "You could try and I am fairly sure he would tell you to fuck off. I doubt Soren was helpful at all when he was interviewed after her death." No she knew he hadn't been helpful. They headed out back into the living room and kitchen together. Petrov was waiting at his food dish and Amber filled it for him and gave him a pat on the head. After washing her hands she opened the fridge and started pulling food out. "

Grabbing two skillets she set about making breakfast, "Soren was old when he was young and older still when he was turned. He life went from living or dying by the sword and the glory of battle to one of having to learn how to be a vampire. The dark ages however made this like that even harder. He had been left for dead on the battlefield, when his maker came upon him." She cracked several eggs into a bowl and started to beat them. Amber looked up at Roderick, "Like I and many other before and after us, he was not ready to die and gladly took the offered promise of eternal life. From what I have heard," she turned the stove one and two health slices of ham steak into the skillet, "He wandered around Europe for many years. We took a near instant disliking to each other. I was Roman, he was one of the viking horde. It was inevitable."

Amber poured him a glass of orange juice and for herself, blood. "Its taken him many centuries, but he's slowly catching up with the rest of the world. Angelica was part of that and with her gone? He will more than likely slink back into the shadows." She took a slow sip, "I do not though think he has anything to do with this. He loved Angelica too much to kill her, even if she had discovered his secret."

Roderick payed attention to Amber's words. She was right, Soren had been less than helpful. He'd been downright violent with grief after they'd told him the news. They'd been able to discount him as a suspect almost immediately, plenty of witnesses to his location during the time of death. Plus the character witnesses, not so much for him but for the victim. It was the same basic logic that cleared every other vampire who's donor had been killed. None of them had an reason to want to hurt their donors, and their donors all had wonderful relationships with the vampires.

"No, we don't think Soren had any involvement. Mostly I'm wondering who would know him well enough to know how to hurt him that much. I got the impression he didn't mix with others very often, so knowing just which buttons to push or how he died can't be common knowledge."

The smell coming from the kitchen was delicious.

"If you don't mind my asking, just how many people knew the specifics of your own death? And dear God, that smells heavenly. Where did you learn to cook?"

"I spent 200 years in France, I learned to cook simply out of boredom. When all of your life and unlife are spent being concubine, courtesan and mistress, you find the need for hobbies very great. As for who knows, Misha, Sasha, a few other perhaps. Gossip is something vampires do best and many of us treat the revelation of how we came to be as therapy." She turned the hamsteaks over, poured half the beaten eggs into the skillet and put toast into the toaster. To the eggs she added chives and a few other touches of seasoning.

"Marcus Gracis Rufus, a roman of a well known family. I wanted for nothing in my life. Well possibly the ability to be his wife, but it was not to be. He did love me though and I him."she casually stirred and soon flipped the first omelette. "Can you grab the plates out of the cabinet?" Amber pointed to the one she kept her plates in. "I wasn't kept bound to his villa though and had a sizable allowance that afforded me the freedom to do what I wished."

When he came over she plated the first and started on the second. "It was supposed to be a simple trip to the market. I wanted to see what there merchants had brought in and possibly find something new to wear." Amber finished loading his plate up with hamsteak and toast and working on her own breakfast. There was this silk merchant. Unfortunately for me the people he dealt with where very unhappy with him. The snake that bit me was meant for him, concealed in the fabric ready to strike when revealed."

Amber finished her own plate and grabbed silverware for them both. She joined Roderick at the counter and sat down to eat. "The bite wasn't enough to kill me instantly but enough to leave me deathly ill and trapped between life and death."

The food tasted good. Damn good. This was the type of breakfast people payed good money to enjoy, and here he was enjoying it. He idly wondered what other culinary skills Amber had acquired in 200 years of study and practice. Hell, with 200 years, you could do almost anything. For the first time since he'd begun working the Spook Squad, Roderick was legitimately confronted with the reality of immortality. Or eternity barring outside influences. He wasn't quite sure how to feel about it.

"So, while specifics wouldn't be common knowledge the generalities might be floating around out there somewhere."

Great. Just great.

"How about vampires that might do something like this? Anyone particularly infamous still running around?"

She paused with her glass halfway to her mouth as she thought. "Hmm, most that come to mind are either dead or completely off the map. Once humans learned that we weren't just myth and legend it became harder to go around killing en mass. Many were killed by other vampires, some by humans. The rest?" Amber drank her blood and licked her lips. "I would have to ask Sasha if he is still alive, but I can think of one who would be so cruel as to strike out against other vampires. A former warlord, Markus. He is or was the thing most people fear and have nightmares about when they think of vampires. Completely bloodthirsty."

Amber took a bite out of her toast and chewed slowly. "He never tried to blend in. Never tried to at least be friendly to other vampires. If he did not try to kill you he did other things to provoke someone into a fight with him."

For some reason the name Markus struck some kind of internal resonance with Roderick. Unlike many of his colleagues, he'd tried to understand vampires, to learn about them. A big part of that was studying history. Unfortunately vampire history was muddled, in some cases even finding the Sire of another vampire was almost impossible. Granted much of that was because the authorities still didn't trust humans and information was power. Still, that name appeared quite a few times in quite a few different archives.

"Well, he sounds like he could be a candidate. History of violence, not exactly chummy with other vampires. Depending on how old he really is he could be acting out to remind vampires of what they used to be. Or he's just bored and wants to get someone to fight him. I know our information on him is limited, I'll have to put a request in to some federal agency. Luckily the database for vampires is pretty centralized and asking for a file wont raise any red flags."

He realized he'd been going on for a bit and smiled a little sheepishly.

"So what are you doing today? I've got today and tomorrow off, if you don't mind the company."

Amber set her glass down none too gently. "I was...I was going to go by Vincent's if the police and released it to start packing his things. I was also going to call our Realtor and start the process of putting his place on the market though I doubt anyone will want it. Roman, you remember my lawyer, he usually handles big stuff for me I suppose I can have him deal with the place." She looked at Roderick, "I don't want to go there alone, but I don't want to impose upon you."

Roderick did a quick internal check, yeah it had been long enough and the scene should be released. They had pictures of every square inch of the place, the blood spatter analyst had already been through it, other forensic evidence collected. Besides, he'd be with Amber and if anything that wasn't in the file jumped out at him he could handle it.

"You're luck, most lawyers don't care as much as he does. I could tell, as soon as he came in and interrupted your interview. I understand you not wanting to be alone, and trust me when I say you're not imposing at all. All I'd be doing anyway is slowly going blind while staring at the case files. If you don't mind having a Spook for company that is."

It was an odd revelation to himself when he realized he didn't want her to go there alone. He wanted her to be safe. God, that was silly, Amber was more than capable of handling herself. Still, the odd tug inside his chest didn't quite disappear.

"Thank you. I appreciate it." Amber nodded and the pair went back to their food. Once they were done and the dishes put into the washer. Amber dressed in a simple pair of jeans and blouse. She let Petrov out into her backyard and then grabbed her keys. On the way to Vincent's place Amber picked up some boxes. Once there Amber didn't even spare the doorman a glance. She knew his look wasn't even close to sympathetic. Even though she hadn't killed Vincent to him she was no better than the one who had.

It was a strange sensation to have the actually use her spare key for once. The silence inside was deafening. They set the boxes down in the living room and she looked around. She made one promise to herself and that was to not break down. when she was alone she would cry, but not now. Not around Roderick "I guess we should start in the kitchen."

The pair was quiet on the ride over to Vincent's. It actually took a conscious effort for Roderick to think of it as such instead of just "the crime scene." There had been a life here, a happy person who'd made others happy. It wasn't fair to just think of it in terms of the crime.

Roderick shot the doorman an icy glare. He hadn't spoken to the man when they'd done statements and the basic crime scene stuff. But his statement was quite enough to get a read on him. Not a very nice person, probably bitter about how his life had turned out, and not vampire friendly. Not openly hostile most of the time, but his reflection on his own life paled when compared to the life style that vampires tended to live in. It was a source of much of the vampire dislike and distrust, they were wealthy, successful, near immortal, and everyone just wasn't.

The apartment was clean, it was one of the odd things about the crime scene that had struck Roderick. No overkill, no ransacking, no searching for something. Just the relatively simply murder. There had been almost no mess, which was something the killer had done every time. There was some dramatics, the positioning was designed to be noticed, here with Vincent, with Angelica, with all of the really. It wasn't brutal though, the whole scene felt like a message more than a murder scene.

"Yeah, the kitchen sounds good."

His hand touched her shoulder softly.

"Look, if you want to cry it's OK. I understand."

Call it intuition, but Roderick guessed she'd cry later. He made a mental note to be sure she had some time alone here before they left.

She nodded and they set about breaking down the kitchen and moved to the living room. The kitchen had been easy there weren't too many memories attached to anything. The living room however was a different matter. From the painting she had given him or bought with him, to the pictures that decorated the wall and coffee and end tables. Amber picked up one of the two of them when Vincent had still been a teen. He still had that street kid look about him, but was otherwise cheerful. "You know it was hard convincing him that I didn't want anything from him. All the time he was waiting for the other shoe to drop. He never told me the real reason why he ended up on the streets and I never asked. Roman tried to find his family, but no one ever came looking for him."

She set the picture into the box with the others, "Not that I would have let them take him. As far as I was concerned contact was out of courtesy. To simply let them know he was off the streets, alive and loved." Amber looked at the table and a frown formed on her face. She then looked in the box and counted. "There's a picture missing. Vincent's graduation photo."

The kitchen was pretty easy to deal with, packing up dishes mostly. It was pretty impersonal and wouldn't be tugging on the emotions. Of course the living room was a totally different matter. Paintings, pictures, all of the personal things tended to be kept in the living room. Roderick was careful to be close enough if Amber needed him, but also gave her enough space. When she mentioned a picture was missing, Roderick glanced around. He didn't see it anywhere.

"Let's keep an eye out for it, it might just be in a different place."

He kept the other option to himself, that the killer might have taken it. It was common for serial killers to take trophies, and a picture was very common. They hadn't had any indication that this one took trophies, but then again if something personal was missing and none of the other vampires told them they'd have almost no way of knowing.

Roderick started packing up some more quasi impersonal stuff. Just books that had been gone over, movies, little things he knew had already been double checked by forensics. He was also trying to figure out what the killer had done. He'd done the role playing walk through before, but he also had a different insight now. Now he knew he was thinking like a vampire, knowing what someone like that would look for. What things might catch his eyes.

Vincent hardly if ever moved his pictures, but anything was possible. She took the paintings down off their hooks and laid them against the wall. Slowly she packed away his cds and movies and unplugged the electronics. Grabbing a smaller box she unplugged his phone and packed it away with all of the smaller things on the small table.

At the door to his bedroom she paused. The sheets and pillows were gone and if not for the the faint spots of blood that were on the mattress and the too clean smell it might have looked as if he were simply doing laundry. Amber tried to put herself in the other vampire's shoes, to try and see what he saw, to find a clue, anything that would give him away. When Roderick came up behind her, Amber walked into the room fully and looked around. She could tell where crime scene and other had touched, things were out of place or had been set down wrong.

She sat down on the bed, her hand resting where Vincent had laid. He had been so peaceful, so safe. In a mere short space of time he had been torn from her. Silent tears ran down her face. Staring hard at the bloodstains Amber thoughts of something, "Roderick, who called the cops?"
