Isep didn't stop until they made the cabin. She killed her first water bottle and sat down. "Is there some secret area we can hide in? The main structure is a little obvious."

Al'ika nodded and opened the door leading down underneath. "Come on," she said, ushering Isep down the stairs.

Isep locked the door behind them with the key hanging up on the wall. "So what is this place, and are there spiders in it?" she asked, shivering at the thought.

"Lucky it was here, or we'd be in serious trouble," she said, handing her some deer jerky. "How about some light?"

Al'ika created a small fireball that gave them plenty of light and suspended it. "Better?" She asked, accepting the deer jerkey.

"Much," she said, looking around the musty room. There was clutter everywhere; old furniture, odds and ends, and old adventuring gear. "What is all this?" she gasped.

"Father's old ranger stuff," she said quietly. "He was a good Ranger, back in the day. . . " she looked around at the stuff and sighed, somewhat missing her father for the first time.

"Wonder why he stuffed it all down here, a lot of this furniture is really nice," she said, testing out a couch.

"Its been down here for as long as I can remember," Al'ika said softly. She then rested on a couch too and relaxed into it. "Probably because it reminds him of Mother. . ."

"Sorry that makes so much sense," Isep said, tearing a bite of jerky off. She went about looking through the place since there was little else to do with goblins stomping around overhead now, confused as to why there was no one in the nearest shelter available. "Hey, does this wall look different to you?" she whispered, pointing.

Al'ika got up, gnawing on her jerkey. "Mhm. It does," she whispered back. "I wonder. . . " she tentatively pushed on it and it moved a bit. "Help me," she whispered.

Isep pushed as well, and the secret door opened. There was a lot more adventuring gear behind it, none of it ranger.

Al'iks looked on in wonder, wondering where her father collected everything.

A glint of silver caught her eye and she frowned. Curious, she cautiously made her way over to the glint and found a silver pendant on a thick leather strip, made into a necklace. She held it up and examined it before pocketing it.

"There's a whole cabinet of spell components down here," said Isep. Overhead, they could hear the goblins arguing. "They not here, Kroth!" I know, let's get out of here and tell Magnus. He'll want to know to tell Vagnor to stand down. I wouldn't want to be there when he finds out." The goblins began to file out. "I want half of you to watch this house," he ordered before leaving himself."

Isep chugged it and felt her wounds begin to close. "He must be a real bastard if Magnus is nervous around him."

"Well there isn't much room for a lot of them to move and surround us up there," she said thoughtfully.
