Favorite movie with a gay/bi theme?

I really liked the one with Wesly Snipes Patrick Swazey and John L.
That would be To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.

Somewhere around the Abba turd I knew I was in foreign territory.

There's not a musician/actress/artist/writer alive that could induce that level of fandom in me.

Well, maybe Catwoman but she's not real so it's not a bit concern of mine.

Oh, I definitely understand that sentiment. I like a variety of bands and what not, but I've lost the capacity to have that kind of obsession; at least since I was 17 or so.

Why exactly Catwoman? Is it just the costume or is there the whole attitude to accompany it?

Well, um, she's like...a cat.

A sexy cat.

In a tight outfit.

And she was played by Julie Newmar, which relates it again to this particular thread.

I like Halle Berry. I haven't seen her version, but I think she's hot anyway.

I haven't seen it either, but I've not heard anything good about it.

Who cares if it's a good movie? It's Halle Berry in vinyl catsuits! :D

I guess I'm just not as fond of Halle Berry as you.

I like a little plot you know. :)

Nah, I'm just a pervert. :)

To borrow a phrase from Stuponfucious, we here at Lit are pervs, not perverts. Perverts are pædophiles, zoophiles, and the like. :)

Gotta go with Bound. Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon were just hot as hell together.

Basic Instinct. Sharon Stone and her female lover were cool.

Let's see, there was a silly vampire movie that Alyssa Milano did a few years back where she was being seduced by a female photographer. I wish the scene had been longer. You get to see Alyssa's nips and they kiss. NICE. (I love campy vampire movies because there's alway some girl/girl stuff going on, even if it's just a little bit)

Wynona rider and Sadie Frost shared a quick kiss in Bram Stokers Dracula. Wynona wasn't wearing a bra because her boobs were bouncing all over the place while she was running around the garden that night. (damn, she's a tiny thing but she's got a nice rack)

I can't think of anything else really, becuase I haven't seen that many regular movies that have lesbian themes. I've only been able to find lesbian porn. (which is fine, but sometimes a storyline would be nice)

When Night Is Falling
Better Than Chocolate
But I'm A Cheerleader
Jeffery
Beautiful Thing (?)

There are so many gay movies that are WAY better written than lesbian movies.
Pretty much in that order...

Shows: "The L Word"

Soulfiregirl,
I think you have a thing about "racks" on women. Hmmm...

Nope., it's not vinyl a la Michelle Pfeiffer, sorry. It's more like bits of leather and other things just sort of thrown togetehr in a weird patchwork. I think it looks stupid, especially compared to previous Catwoman outfits.

I mean, until now, they've always been CATsuits, duhhh!

I'm surprised nobody here mentioned Velvet Goldmine with Ewan McGregor and Christian Bale (i think he also played in American Psycho). It was hot and sweet in a hard to describe way.

I just rented(DVD) BAD RELIGION (2004) by Spanish director Pedro Almodovár.

Intense and stunning movie about two former Catholic altar boys who plot against the priest who sexually abused them as kids. The actors and performances are great.

Catholic myself, it was disturbing to watch, but at the same time I was glad somebody finally put this issue out in a movie by a great director and good film.
Anybody else seen this movie? (In Spanish w/English subtitles).

Nobody has mentioned either

Fried Green Tomatos or
Boys on the Side

Perhaps they werent the best, but they were both very good movies.

Frellme
