Favorite Vacation Destinations

Are you kidding? I would be on the next plane to you in a heartbeat! But I heard that a certain lady friend of yours carries a BIG gun and since I live close, I decided to leave you on my fantasy "wish I could have wild uninhibited sex with" list.

I will give you a hint, sort of. It is a gift from quite a few of us here on the board.

Curiosity killed the cat

I'm not gonna ask......I'm not gonna ask......I'm NOT curious.....I'm NOT curious.......

Argh Hell. Yes I AM curious.

Damnit Merelan why did you have to bring that up now? LOL ;)

Someone kind and gentle, yet strong enough to be a real man.
Someone who opens doors for a lady and is willing to cry at a mushy scene in a movie, yet likes the outdoors and "roughing" it. Someone who knows how to treat me like a lady, to spoil and cherish me, yet to take control in the bedroom. He must also have a steady supply of candles and like me to cook for him.
Oh, and someone who doesn't mind going with me to Germany, where I will be looking for a certain blonde lady.

And I would prefer, if it isn't asking too much, that his initials be SHYGUY!

Merelan dear

You're making me blush here!!! Telling my secrets for all the people on the board to read!! ;)

But I would love to keep track of your umbrellas, and if the weather it to bad, we'll just have to settle for in-door activites! ;)

Xander

Isn't it to bad that you have to wait until your wedding day to find out what you'll be getting from the Lit members?? :D:D

Xander, when is the best time to visit that ensures it will rain the most? I like the sound of those indoor activities.

Hmm, Merelan, I wonder why?
;)

What are the odds I could get you to add Maryland to that list? We could rename it Merryland.

Maybe you could be my tour guide. I have always wanted to spend some time on the Chesapeake ever since I read Micheners book.

Longing for soft-shelled crabs, oyster stew (he stew version) and the beauty of Annapolis.

It would be my pleasure. An afternoon of sailing the Chesapeake, followed by a dinner of the best crabcakes and microbrews ever. Later, we can go to the Naval Academy and tease the squids or crash a wedding. Wrap it all up with a trip to the Cheesecake Factory for a slice of Amaretto cheesecake.

Or if you'd rather, catch an O's game at Camden Yards where you could get a soft-shell crab sandwich. Later, swing by Edgar Allen Poe's house and then on to some great live music B'more style.

*sigh* Just the thought of Baltimore gives me heart pain. I fear I can never go there again without being reminded of someone or looking over my shoulder in fear (hope) of a familiar face. :(

April, honey, Baltimore gives me a pain too.

I got a parking ticket there once. Thing was, I was living in North Carolina, nowhere near Baltimore. Some lovely city employee wrote down the wrong tag number, mine. The only way to fight it was to go to court. Drive 356 miles over a $20 ticket, I think not. To add injury to insult, by the time they mailed the ticket, it was already late. I had to pay an additional $12 or go to court.

Expertise dear, are you sure you wouldn't rather a tour of Charlotte, N.C. instead?

Venice is good. Any cosmopolitan area in Italy is fantastic. In my five week whirlwhind tour of fourteen European countries back in '85, (God, I sound like an old geezer!) Italy was my favorite country, hands down. Very friendly people, great food, fabulous shopping, breathtaking art and architecture. And that language! Mama mia! It's such a musical romantic language. If a man wooed me in Italian, he could be insulting me and I wouldn't care.

The Cote D'Azur in France

Bardolino, a small wine making town by a lake in Italy

Bairo Alto, Lisbon - the best nightlife I've ever seen

Charlotte NC BBQ and stock car racing WoooHooo!
