Favourite Fairy Tales - Modernized and Eroticized

I'm not much of a JLo fan. I was referencing her "Jenny from the hood" tv special. I'd rather see Julia Stiles or Kate Hudson - they have the fragility needed , with Julia having strength shining through. JLo would be too, well, butch ( im a curvy way).

"butch" might be the wrong word.....I don't mean masculine, so much as Domme...the RRH vcharacter needs that frgility. No weakness to JLo

ah...gotcha :)

Yeah, I see RRH as emotionally very fragile, even though she needs a really tough side to survive as long as she has...

I've read a couple of threads recently about rewriting Cinderella. That got me to thinking about other Fairy Tales. I think that they could be a goldmine of story ideas, especially for erotic short fiction.

So, on that note, what are your favourite Fairy Tales, and why? How would you like to see them spiced up? And would you like to see them modernized, or not? Often the "Once upon a time" thing is half the charm, but the stories themselves are timeless and could be set anywhere, and in any period.

What say you?

Bump and repost of original idea

Resurrecting an old favorite

I just read a retelling of Cinderella written for middle school students, called Just Ella. Prince Charming turned out to be prince boring.

I thought taking that premise and moving onto an erotic retelling would be interesting...but I'm working on my novel and don't have time...take the idea if you like :)

A fairy tale that came to mind was "The Golden Goose". It's the story of a man who is given a golden goose, then hears about a king who will give his daughter's hand in marriage to the first man to make her laugh. Well...some of the aspects of this story could be changed around and made into a rather interesting and erotic adventure.

Well, I'm Back.

Well, after a job change, and an out of town trip, I'm back at home, and glad to be so.

Did you all miss me?

What's been buzz for the last few weeks? Anything critical I need to know about.

Thanks for all the ideas. . .

I've been working on the Hansel and Gretel thing. . .it has some promise, but it also has a few kinks <pun most definitely intended> to be worked out.

Love to all,

Librorum vermis

:p

It's kind of an obvious one, but I love Little Red Riding Hood. She's so sensuous and helpless.
