hello, all my beautiful friends. ouch. i'm speaking quietly like this 'cause i'm soooo sooooo soooooo hungover. had a mad couple of days (and nights, of course) up in edinburgh. yesterday was completely debauched.

i knew things didn't auger well... ogre well?... how DO you spell that? anyway... back to my story: i knew things didn't BODE well for the sensibleness of the evening when we encountered the icelandic in our first pub. when I say the icelandic, I don't mean the whole nation (although iceland is a fairly unpopulated island for its size, i've been informed) - just 4 completely crazy middle-aged art lecturers in green and red jester hats. (this really is true.) they insisted on getting my friends and I (sorry whispersecret, if you're reading - that should really be 'they insisted on getting me and my friends') completely hammered (british colloquialism for 'drunk to the power of... oh, I don't know 102'). they told us that their most famous export after the vikings (who were actually norwegians, i think) has just won a best actress prize at cannes. (that's bjork gudmundsdottir, by the way. she's in a new arthouse movie made by a dane - the nationality, not the dog.) they also taught us how to say 'cheers' in their native tongue ('SKOLL!' Although they probably spell that 'SKLLL!). I taught them how to say 'you are a very pretty lady. I think you are a prostitute' in french. you know... just in case they're ever lost in paris and need to ask a nice gendarme for directions back to their hotel.

there was a strong international theme to the whole evening, actually. i was thrown out of one premise...is that the singular of premises? i was thrown out of one TAVERN for speaking to the canadian barmaid in terrible french (i really AM that annoying), and then later on i was doing really well with one of nicole's fellow countrywomen until i said something about her having plankton on her face (i really don't know what that means either but, please, just blame it all on the icelandic. they started the whole mess).

my friend paul vickers (singer in my band) informed me this morning that the night ended with me falling into a huge bucket of ice (which explains why my trousers were so wet this morning).

anyway... that's what i did in my summer holidays.

i'm going in to 'orgy' now to check out what everyone's been up to but i probably won't be in any fit state to add anything new till at least tomorrow (sorry if i'm holding everything up - remember to blame it all on the icelandic).

TARA KITTEN - sorry you've not got any time to orgy just now (it really is an excellent strand) but i'm looking forward to your story.

Hey all...I've been following two of the threads for a day or two, trying to work up the nerve to jump in. The reunion was excellent, but i came along pretty far into it and i didn't want to party crash. I was anticipating some Nic and Krista action,too.
Anyway, the wicked orgy seemed like it wasn't too late to get into (i mean really, is it ever too late to get into an orgy?

So, i'm in and hopefully all of this won't end wth Raivenn getting hauled out by the back of her white leather bra! ;D

I wanted to add that, while the "Orgy" thread is fun to read and the characters are well developed, I discovered that it is not one of my fantasies. Part of the appeal that this site has for me is being able to experiment with writing, learning something about others and myself. It was hard for me to develop a story that I just can't picture myself in. Lack of imagination I'm sure. I hope I didn't inconvenience anyone by dropping out.

Oh, this is sad. We all seemed to cool off a bit at the same time. It's hard to keep the momentum going, I guess. I know I've been feeling a bit burnt-out and had to take a bit of a break from RPG to recharge my batteries. That's why I've been spending more time in the main BB the last few days.

It takes so much time and energy to take part in something like this and it's excellent fun but its easy to over-do it. You start thinking, 'Wouldn't I be better off spending my time writing a story or doing all those things I'm supposed to do?'

But then you realise after a short break just how much fun it really is, and that you actually miss it.

Does this happen a lot in RPG, Hecate? Is there some way that players can take a few days off without disrupting the plot?

Anyway, it's been really cool writing with you EarthGoddess & High Peaks. Maybe bump into you on one of the other strands. And, sorry I neglected the characters for a bit there.

Well Earthgoddess, Hecate's Talea and my Jordan/Milain have to make our way to her mansion before the thread we have in mind can begin. Unfortunatly those two are still humping like bunnies! Hehe! I am rather looking forward to role playing out all the explanations behind this fae thing... How Jordan is also Milain... Much fun to be had! Heheh!

Roger - yes it does happen in many RP's (the cool off and slow down)... and to be honest .. I have rarely played in one single thread as long and perpetual as the orgy one! So that in itself speaks for the quality of the whole thing (Thanks again to SK for starting it!!)

So why don't we just write out some of our "old" characters and let the new ones take over?? (Yes - I too am getting a little "tired" after my 4th or 5th orgasm ) I can tell a lot of promising activity starting there? You can always come back and look for some lost wallet at a later time *g*

RP is about creativity and thus you need a change or break or so after a while.

As for the pagan theme thingy ... Ravenloft, I will some time soon write me out of the Orgy (lack of time plus being away on business and holiday for almost 3 weeks without internet access *sighs*) and set you on your quest through the lost realms to Talea's mansion *g* .. feel free to start a fantasy RP about this because I will not be available for the next 4 weeks , maybe 5

But once I am back I will be enthusiastic about starting the "Inner Circle - secrets revealed" thingy. Does that sound acceptable?

Hello all. I'm really new to this, but am proud of the fact that my own topic is taking off, slowly. I must say I didn't get the responses I would've liked, but I kinda should've expected that from seasoned roleplayers such as yourselves. I must say that I love reading the Highschool Tease story and I kinda like the Chick for a Day story also. I love to roleplay in real life, for any of you who are familiar with the Dungeons and Dragons and Shadowrun games. I guess I'd just like some feedback on my own story, and maybe some suggestions. Thanks for your time.
