...that there is a dearth of beautiful words to describe a woman? We have scientific terms..."she had a lovley labia majora" and ridiculously silly or vulgar words such as "gash" or "pussy". (sigh) What's a writer to do?

Maybe I'll start a thread to collect up the words writers here have chosen to use...create a new canon.

Actually, I understand what Todd is talking about with the 'gap'. I noticed a while back that there is a difference among women with the width of this gap and it has nothing to do with weight. It is, as Angel stated, related to the hip spacing or width.

The best way to understand what Todd is saying is to look at women in a one piece bathing suit. You will notice that some women have more of a 'square' in this area while others do not. You can correlate the 'gap square' and the hip width in this manner. You can not tell correctly if the woman is naked but sometimes you can notice with tight jeans. Check out the Baywatch woman and you can notice it real well.

Now, as far as gap width and its affect on a women's leg spread during sex....I will have to conduct more research.

I agree with Sally completely. I have a gap between my thighs wide enough to read a book through. I've always contributed it to staying fit and being in the saddle so much (no cute remarks here...I literally mean riding horses). I also know for a fact that my vaginal muscles are very toned. So one has nothing to do with the other.
My 8 yr old girl is a hell of a gymnist and she and all the other girls have this gap too. It's lack of fat in the area so, that rules out whether the gap is due to tightness or looseness of the vagina. It's purely a result of flexibility, I think. WEll I wish I could say that it was due to the lack of fat but how can the worlds fattest living woman have this "gap" she certainly has no lack of fat. But I do find it very enticng on normal sized women from 80 pounds to 250 pounds. Sorry to women over that its nothing personal you just remind me of mom and thinking any sexy thoughts gives me that icky incesty feel. Its something I am working on though, there is hope for me yet, I just don't want to be in the midst of sex and look down or up for that matter and see my mom.
