while reno and sirus werent watching i shispered in tifas ear Barret and the others should be waiing to set us free dont worry yet this is all part of a plan but i didnt expect sphiroth
ohh... a rescue, well that sounded better, I was starting tor eally get worrie, I did not want to be taken to Midgar just to be locked in some cell. And who knows what those crazy scientists could do with us!
Sephiroth grinned coldely. He would be able to deal with them all here...and lure them to complete his own mission here. Black Materia
Sephiroth could hear the roaring as he approached the central chamber again. Just as he sensed, it was waiting for him there. It stood in the middle of the room, almost as tall as the ceiling. Its green scales reflected a weird light around the room. It thrashed its tail against the stone floor and bristled its wings in the air. Dragon...Sephiroth used his power to bend the creature to his will.
The dragon let out a great roar. It lifted one huge leg, and started moving forward, much faster than something its size should be capable of. It began moving swiftly through the hallways, smashing everything in its way, moving to the spot Sephiroth ordered it.
Tifa heard the roar coming from deep within the temple... Even the ground was shaking, but it wasn´t an eathquake.
" What the hell is that! ", Sirus didn´t knew either, she looked confused at first but then an expresion of recognition came across her face, I knew what she was thinking... Sephiroth.
This could be the opportunity me and Cloud have been waiting, If we dont get killed by whatever is doing that noise...
The dragon continued smashing its way through the temple hallways. Sephiroth was leading it closer and closer to its prey. The dragon finally burst out into a wide corridor and saw four people in front of it. The dragon uttered a great roar and stamped his huge forelegs on the ground, cracking the stone. Suddenly he leapt off his huge rear legs and plunged forward towards the four people, scattering them.
As the dragon leapt at the small group, Sirius could feel her legs freeze to the ground.
[Holy shit...]
She stared at the dragon in awe for a moment, suddenly realizing that if she did not move from it's landing area, she would be smashed.
Sirius took a few swift jumps back, her free hand reaching for her other pistol. Once her hand enclosed the hilt, she came to a somber thought.
[I...I can't kill this creature. Not even in self-defense... It is too majestic and rare to our world for me, a common human, to even attempt to wipe out...]
Sirius glanced over at Tifa. She really had nothing against untying her... But strangely, she didn't want to even let Tifa attack the dragon. She stood speakless for a few moments, then looked to see what action Reno and Cloud were taking.
Reno looked up just in time to see the dragon's huge tail come lashing down from up above him. He leapt out of the way, but crashed into Tifa, smashing into her. The two of them flew off to side away from Cloud and Sirius.
Reno stood up and shook his head. Jeesh Tifa was still struggling on the ground in her restraints. He still wasn't thinking about untieing her, but if things got worse, he wouldn't leave her for dead.
The dragon suddenly reared up to its full height and crashed its head into the ceiling. Chunks of the roof started giving way and falling to the ground below.
"Reno, get those two out of here! I'll try to distract the dragon!"
Sirius placed both her guns back in their holsters. She closed her eyes and focused on the materia that graced the pendant around her throat. A blue light shot out from her body, swirling about the ground in a thick smoke. Slowly the swirling made its way up Sirius's body, blowing the trenchcoat and her hair about in gentle ripples.
seeing his sword being clashed up by the dragon i lept at tit cutting the restraints off and then i swiftly luanched an attack on it. Hitiing it with Climhazzard it was momentarilly dazzled i looked at tifa and watched and waited to see what the othrs would do
Cloud ripped my restraints with his sword. The thought of escaping in the confusion did cross my mind, but I couldn´t leave eveyone here, I had to to what I could to help. And I knew I had an ace up my sleeve that could be usefull, it would require a lot of energy, but it was worth a shot...
I stand straigh, concentrated in the power stored in my gloves, In the materia stored there... A tremor shakes the ground, but this time it was not the dragon, no... The earh opens and bursts of flame come out, the heat filling all the room, then from the opening out comes an Efreet flying into the air just to stop and tirn its attention to towards the dragon...
" Attack him " I whisper, concentrating on the Efreet...
The Efreet launches himself in a ball of roaring flames against the dragon and collides against it, the explosion throws me back against the wall...
After the collision, the Efreet is gone, the Dragon is still there, but I can see the attack certainly took its toll, he is wounded, I just hoped someone else could finish the job... I was exausted...
Reno covered his face as Efreet and the dragon collided in a huge explosion. He could feel the intensity of the flames as the shockwave filled the room. As soon as the blast settled, Reno could see that the dragon had been injured badly.
Its wings were torn and its whole body was blackened with ash. The dragon looked dazed and out of it. Reno took the opportunity and dashed for the beast. He leapt up onto his back and ran up its long neck. He pulled out his nightstick and thrust it into one of the monster's eyes. Then he let loose with an electric shock. The dragon reared its head violently, tossing Reno down to the ground. The dragon was in really bad shape now, though. Half its head was burnt off and smoke poured out of a hole where its eye used to be.
A spherical barrier surrounded Sirius as the explosion reached her position.
After the flames ceased and Efreet was gone, Sirius looked on to see Reno deliver a powerful attack to the dragon. She could feel her body freeze up as the sight of smoke billowing out of the dragon's eye socket soaked into her mind.
The dragon let out a mighty roar of anguish; Sirius felt a sharp pain in her chest cavity. She fell to her knees on the cold stone ground, gripping her chest and closing her eyes tightly.
She could hardly breathe, and any movement would be impossible. A few tears fell from her eyes.
Tifa just stood there, leaning against the wall, while Reno attacked the Dragon, then looking the other way I saw Sirus, falling to her knees, gripping her chest.
Gathering strength I run towards her, and after a couple of jumps and dodges of the still alive dragon I reached Sirus. I stands behind her and lift her by the shoulders, moving her behind a boulder and lying her against the rock.
" Whats wrong Sirus? " I speak to her as I see tears flowing from her eyes...
Sirius's chest heaved heavily as she tried to gain breath, her jaw clenched, and her eyes shut tightly.
"I..." The pain was obvious from the way she had to struggle to speak. "...I...don't...know..."
Sirius continued her own struggle, greatly appreciative of Tifa's assistance; she knew she didn't deserve it after the way she had planned to turn Tifa into Shinra...
Seeing the time was right i charged at the monster and stabbed my sword deep in it and pulled it out the blood poured out of the wound in a vat of blood
Sirus was really suffering... I had to do something, I let her lean her head against the rock, and concentrate in the power of materia I had stored in my bracelet.
Green light emanates from it and shoots towards Sirus, surrounding her, the healing energy circling her body... I hope this works...
Reno got up shakily after being tossed to the ground. He saw Cloud deliver another blow to the dragon. He looked around to find Sirius and saw her down on the ground with Tifa over her. Sirius looked hurt bad. Reno dashed over.
"How is she?" he said, concerned. He started reaching into his pocket for an ex-potion in case she needed it.
Sirius cried out as the dragon was struck again; her body shivered terribly and she still could only gain shallow breaths.
Her mind raced as to try and find some sort of explaination to her severe pain -- the only logical reasonings that she could conclude had to do with the dragon creating some mental bound with her to force her to share its pain, or she had some natural bound with it. Either way, she wished she could cast it off; she could feel her grip on consciousness begin to slip away.
Ewan had been following the intruders progress through his caves then saw they were being attack by Barley, a dragon that lived in the caves, then relized Barley was being controlled by the white haired one. Ewan tried from where he was but relized that He was to far away, Ewan srambled to get to the dragon before the outsiders killed him but he was in a parallel tunnel and he was far from the next entrance into thier cave. The whole time He ran he tried to stop the outsiders from killing the dragon with powerful thoughts of peace and beauty but it was not working they were overcoming his thoughts too quickly. They were going to kill Barley if he didn't get closer soon. Ewan jumped down from the ceiling and could hear the battle now, He felt a hot wind move down the caves then a thundering scream from the dragon followed shortly after by another then another. Ewan sprinted as hard as he could as he rounded a bend he saw Barley, smoke pouring out of one eye, chared, wings torn, and a large gash in his chest with a massive amount of blood pouring out. Ewan boiled, this creature was easy enough to run from which is all they had to do but instead they had attacked it and now he would almost certainly die from the wounds he had recieved. If there was one thing reading minds was good for it was fighting and if there was one good thing about being this close to people it was that he could pour on the mental images to confuse them and slow thier reaction times. Ewan rushed his tall, towering, dirty, rag covered (head to toe covered to the point where you cant see what he looks like) body toward the battle the girls and one of the guys were near to him he grabbed the one called Tifa and the one called Reno and slammed thier heads together knocking them both uncontious. Ewan picked up Reno's weapon and charged the last one who had stabbed the dragon, dodged his first blow and easily sent a shock racking his body to the ground, Ewan quickly kicked the large sword away. Ewan stood waiting for a counter attack hoping there would be none and sending happy, peaceful images to everyone in the cave, including the dragon. The only sounds were of the woman He had not hurt back with the other two and thier breathing.
Sirius stopped breathing for a few moments -- just long enough to hear both Tifa and Reno fall to the ground.
She slowly opened her eyes, glazed over by her tears, her hands still clenched at her chest. The pain seemed to ease slightly.
Sirius watched the two silently, beginning to breathe a bit easier. She didn't have to struggle so to inhale, although the pain was still deep and throbbing.
Her eyes scanned the area to see the man that had fallen Reno and Tifa dueling with Cloud. She attempted to sit up from her leaning position upon the rock.
Through the pain she managed to get to her hands and knees. She crawled over to the two unconscious, placing her hands on each to make sure they were, for the most part, undamaged.
Softly she spoke to the two, comfortingly, trying to hide her own anguish from her voice. She lightly traced her fingers over their foreheads, brushing their unruly hair aside.
She knew their fall not to be serious; she assumed she could rise them in little time.
Seeing the others fall out of knowwhere i braced jumped rolled picked up myu sword and dashed and slashed cutting this man in front of me i lloked and said. "well thanks for the helpbut now youll leave or die "Placing my sword under his neck and pressing softly.
