"Caught, I've never been caught before, this just will not do. I will not underestimate them again." Ewan thought at his current position. He began pouring images and thoughts into Cloud's mind overloading his sences with the thought that Sephiroth was about to stab him in the back.

Feeling that i thought sephiroth was coming i wisked around slashed seeing sno sephirth in sight at all i flipped over the guy again*placed my blade at his neck again . Ge tout of here or you will die if not by me by sephiroth

Reno

Waking up from a sudden smash in the head, Reno looked around, dazed. The dragon was still flailing around in the corner, but now Cloud was fighting some guy in robes. Tifa looked to be unconscious and he was besides Sirius, who was looking a little better.

"What's going on?"

Illusions, hard to hold, but effective

Suddenly as if awaking from a dream Cloud relized he was clutching no one as Ewan's illusion faded from Cloud's mind. Ewan then spoke, not like normal people speak but in his own psycic way, in Cloud's head came the raising of many voices until they focused into words in his mind "I am Ewan the guardian of the cave. You are an excellent warrior. I have no wish to harm you or your group." sencing the confustion in Cloud's mind at what he was "hearing" and how he had dissapaered from his grasp " I am a telepath the only I have ever known my powers are beyond your comprehention resolve your problems!" Ewan's mind reached out and felt for everyone's position ready for battle hope the idiots would not attack the dragon any more and again sent overwelming images of everyone in the cave getting along and being peacful.

Tifa

Suddenly all became black... and when I woke up I saw Cloud fighting some guy in robes, I have no idea who he/she is but I am sure he is the one who knocked me out, besides he is fighting Cloud, and I am pissed, really pissed...

I concentrate again, using the same teqnique as when I called the Efreet, concentrating in my target, the man in robes... Suddenly the groud starts shaking...

i run over to tifa sirus and renoseeing how most of them were in bad shape i picked them aup in my arms and proceeded to rtun out of the temple as fst as i could

More mind tricks

Ewan felt the ground shake, then noticed Tifa holding up her hands in concentration her "voice" told him all he needed to know, she was summoning another creature to fight HIM, but in doing so she would most certainly kill the dragon. Seeing how much she needed to concentrate he put wave after wave of very distracting images from the worst of Tifa's fears to her greatest desires and everything inbetween, it wasn't working fast enough she still had a chance of completeing the summoning. A new tactic formed in his head, useing the vibration that Tifa was causeing he put as powerful a suggestion as he could muster into the others minds "The cave will colapse from the vibrations" then to Ewan's suprise the cave did acctually started to collapse. Ewan and everyone else in the cave ran for thier lives.

 

[Trist]

Sirius watched as Reno came to conciousness again.

"What's going on?" he asked.

"Some guy came out of nowhere...he's trying to kill Cloud. Tifa's unconcious and the dragon..." Sirius's eyes glanced over to the poor mythical creature.

Tifa rose. Instantly she began casting a summon spell.

The cave began to tremble. Cloud darted over to the three, attempting to pick them all up to help them exit.

Reno simply shot Cloud a cold look; he knew better than to touch the powerful Turk. Sirius pulled away abruptly.

Cloud had no choice but to grab Tifa and run.

Sirius watched the two flee, then turned her eyes to Reno.

"Pleasant, wouldn't you say?"

He didn't reply.

Tifa were hading to the golden saucer ad we need to get there pronto lets get on the tiny bronco and out of here.

:hours later at the gold saucer: Tifa would you care to unwind and have a drink with me

Tifa

Last I rememember was I was casting a summon spell... then the cave began to shake, to collapse, then everything went black... again...

I awake in a strange room... spooky, the furniture is old and the place covered with spiderwebs and... oh, I remember where I am!
This is the hotel of the Gold Saucer, but how did I got here!

What about Sirus, Reno, Sephiroth and... oh, Cloud was there also...

" Tifa would you care to unwind and have a drink with me? "

" Unwind, well I dont see why not, although I am worried about the others who were on the cave... ( especially Sirus I thought to myself, I was starting to like her, even though she was with Shinra). "

*orders 2 drinks one for me and one for tifa* Well i tried to get reno and sirus out of there no idea if they got out thoughi did "accidentally leave a gold saucer gp beind if the eally want to follow us they should see that clue. But for now lets relax drink have some fun. Hell we almost died

 

[Trist]

Sirius walked to the dragon as the cave continued to crumble about them.

"What the hell are you doing?" Reno asked.

She didn't reply. She stopped by the head of the mythical creature, placing her hand softly upon it's scales. It weakly moaned.

Reno approached. He stopped beside Sirius, looking at her quizzically.

"Give me a ex-potion...please."

Reno did as asked. Sirius fed it to the dragon. It seemed to get a little better.

"How many do you have?" Sirius asked.

"How many are you planning to give to that damned beast?"

"As many as it needs... Or as many as you have."

Reno sighed, giving the potions to Sirius. He didn't care to argue.

Sirius fed the potions to the dragon, comforting it with softly spoken words. Reno just watched coldly.

The cave ceased its trembling. The dragon seemed to regain itself, and stood towering over the two humans.

Sephiroth

The dragon had been hurt badly and Cloud was gone from the place. It looked like his plans for getting the Black Materia were foiled for now. He relinquished his control over the dragon, allowing it to retain its own mind.

Reno

"Well if you want to help, go ahead." He gave her all his potions and it looked like the dragon was in decent shape again. Looked like Reno was gonna be in trouble, though. He had let the Avalanche members get away again. He wasn't sure if he should go back to Shinra HQ or not. Rufus wasn't gonna be happy.

"Well, what do we do now?" he asked Sirius.

 

[Trist]

"It really doesn't matter."

Sirius looked over to Reno.

"I suppose we could try to find our run-away captives."

 

[HarlemBlade]

Reno

Reno put his hand up to his forehead. "Gawd, that's one of the most unsuccessful missions ever, I think. Look, why don't we just head back to the helicopter. It's a little bit of a walk, but we can figure out where to go from there."

 

[Trist]

Sirius nodded. "Sure, that sounds good."

Sirius and Reno began walking towards the helicopter, a awkward silence befalling the two.

After a few moments, Sirius attempted to make conversation.

"So, how old are you, Reno?"

friend or foe

Ewan had ran foward toward the exit of the tunnel, he hopped back into the side running tunnel he was in earlier and made his way to saftey. Well actually he was planning on making his way to safety then the cave had stopped shaking and the cave in was averted. Now the old skills that had been usless to Ewan for as long as he had been in the tunnels away from all civilazation were coming back, He knew that two of the intruders had left, Tifa and Cloud, they had allready gotten in a transport and left. "Damnit" he thought to himself, Cloud was the only person ever to out fight him phisically even a little bit and Ewan needed to find out how he had done it. The only way he could do that was to travel with the other two who were still in the cave with the dragon. He felt some connection to the woman Sirius above what he normally felt, it would be hard to articulate it into words but he felt it none the less. He focused on them now and to his suprise they were healing the dragon. They had begun to talk, Ewan decided to wait in the shadows and see what they did before he decided on his course of action.

Reno

"How old am I? Jeesh. You coming on to me or something?"
Reno chuckled and stuck his hands in his pockets.

 

[Trist]

"Would it be bad if I were?"

Sirius smiled.

"I'm just trying to make conversation. Would you rather discuss business over personal?"

Reno glanced over towards her.

"Speaking of which," Sirius continued, "we should probably call in Rufus with a report. Otherwise he'll ring on us in the most inoppertune moment."

Reno didn't seem to think the calling Rufus was a good idea; the mission was totally botched. He wasn't going to bother trying to stop Sirius, though. He lit a cigarette.

Sirius pulled out her cell phone, flipping it open and quickly dialing a number. She waited for a few moments.

"Hello, Rufus. This is Sirius."

Another short pause.

"...Things aren't going as well as expected..."

Pause.

"Well, I successfully found Sephiroth, Tifa, and Cloud -- for awhile Reno and I had the two AVALANCHE members in our control."

Pause.

"Yes, Reno is with me now."

Pause.

"Well, a dragon attacked...and, well... Tifa and Cloud got away."

Pause.

"No, it's not Reno's fault. It's mine. If I hadn't been there, Reno wouldn't have had to save me. He could've easily defeated the dragon and keep the two AVALANCHE members as prisoners."

Pause.

"...Yeah. So now Reno and I are going to go and look for Tifa and Cloud."

Pause.

"Yes, I'll stay out of Reno's way this time."

Pause.

"Farewell."

Sirius hung up her cell phone, tucking it into it's place (Back thigh of one of her gun holsters).

Reno

About the time Sirius got off the phone, the two of them reached the helicopter. Reno jumped in first and gave her a hand getting in. She sat down in the passenger seat and he took the controls. He flipped on the switches getting the mako engine going and the rotor started spinning. After letting the system rev up a few minutes, he pulled back on the stick and the copter lifted up off the ground.

"Alright, " Reno said, "You and I need to have a little talk. You need to figure out how things work out here on the field a little better. We're gonna make a quick little stop."

Reno directed the copter towards Wutai.

Stowaway

They were leaving and they were hunting Cloud He would need to follow them but they had never really seemed to want him around, so Ewan decided that now was not the best time to reveal that He wanted to tag along, he would do that after he tagged along he thought with a smile. He approached the helicopter from behind, crawled underneath it and latched on for the long ride.

feeling a lil relaxed after a few drinks i asked tifa if she'ld be interested in joining my in a ride around the square

 

[Trist]

"Sounds like loads of fun," Sirius spoke in a sarcastic tone.

She looked out of the helicopter, back down upon the temple. She sighed wistfully.

[I wonder if he's still in there...]

Suddenly, Sirius was reminded of her nakedness beneath Sephiroth's cloak.

"Do you suppose we could stop in a town first? I need some clothes."

Sirius wasn't going to attempt to cover up what had happened; she wasn't ashamed nor afraid of Reno knowing of her lack of garments.
