Fire Side Dancer

Tora blushed once more and turned to smile at him. "I like the sound of that," she replied. She was amazed that he said such nice things to her and that he wanted to spend time with her. Also the fact that having her brothers to worry about he didn't seem to worried, well she had warned him. Suddenly she felt the urge to run and flicking him a quick smile she took of into the trees heading she didn't know where, but she aways flicked a quick glance back over her shoulder to see if he followed.

Rahn smiled at her and watched as she suddenly started to run. He grinned and started to run after her. He chased her through the trees, keeping his eyes on her and using instinct to avoid running into trees. After a while he decided to turn her game against her. They reached a small stream and she ran across it. As she went through the water he dove behind a tree into some bushes. The noise from running water covered the rustling. He stopped completely and did his best not to make any noise. Then he just waited for her to notice he was not right behind her anymore.

Tora dodged trees and branches as if she was danceing, though she nearlly tripped over a root when she had glanced back to make sure Rahn was still there. But she managed to keep her foot and continued to run, hearing the sound of the stream ahead. As it came into veiw she ran straight for it splashing through it. Only when she was over the other side did she look back again and stopped. She could have sworn Rahn had been right behind her, maybe he had fallen behind a bit. She stood on the other side of the stream waiting for him to appear where she had run out of, but still he didn't show. Starting to get worried nor Tora slowly crossed the stream again calling to him, "Rahn." When she got no response she started to head back the way she had came, still calling his name.

Rahn waited patiently and heard her call his name. She continued calling his name and he heard her getting closer. He waited for her to get right next to the tree he was behind. He didn't want to scare her too much, so he rustled the bush a little. He then waited for her to get close enough.

Tora heard the bush rustle and froze. Slowly she moved over to it hoping it was Rahn and not some other person or animal. "Rahn?" she called until she was standing right before the bush that she thought had rustled. She reached forward hesantly about to reach in.

As Tora moved closer Rahn held his breath. When she reached out he grabbed her hand and pulled her in toward him. He wrapped his arms around her and rolled their bodies out of the bush. He started to laugh and ocne clear of the bush released her and let her roll next to him. He lay on his back staring up at the tree canopy, still laughing.

Tora gave a started cry when soemthing grabbed her and pulled her into the bush. But as arms wrapped around her and she saw who had her, she smiled at Rahn. As they rolled out of his hiding spot, she held onto him and then let go when he released her. Coming to a stop laying next to him she started to laugh with him. Trying to catch her breath and stop laughing she looked up at the canopy for a while and then when she looked to Rahn. Watching him look up at the trees. Her smile remained on her face as she just looked at him, she had been going to have a go at him for scaring her but the words just vanished.

Rahn rolled onto his side and smiled at Tora. He looked at her laying there with the light that was able to make it through the leaves shone on her. She was so beautiful and he felt his hand reach out and place itself on top of hers without even thinking about it. He also felt himself slowly leaning closer to her as he gazed into her eyes.

Tora felt his hand cover her but she couldn't bring her eyes to look down at there hands. Her eyes were locked on Rahn's clear blue eyes as he leaned in closer. She felt herself leaning slolwy forward to him, her eyes not leaving his as she felt his breath gently against her face as her lips rested against his.

Rhan was lost in her eyes, leaning closer to her. She moved toward him and he felt their lips meet. He felt a mix of feelings that he had never felt before. One of the mojor feelings was a physical attraction to her. Being close to her was affecting him in a strange way. The other mojor feeling was something deeper. His mother had taught him a little about something called love. It was shy she had been kicked out of the village. The feelings she had described seemed to be like what he felt now toward tora, but it was beyond what words could describe. It was not a very strong feeling, but it was a good one.

As his lips touched hers he did what felt natural. He pressed his lips tight to hers and kissed her. His body moved so that he was above her. He had one hand on either side of her and let her lay back with her head on the ground. He continued to kiss her happily, the feeling of her lips was great.

Having had been kissed before was surprised by this kiss, it was different. It was not like one of her brothers kisses on her forehead or cheek. Nor was it like the boy that had kissed her behind the tent when her brothers hadn't been watching. His kiss had been hard almost demanding and had scared her but Rahan's was different. There was no harshness or demand to his kiss even when he moved bove her.

As her head rested back against the ground once more she felt herself returning his kiss. One of her hand moveing up till it rested on his cheek. Kissing Rahn felt right and natural as did laying there with him did. She didn't want it to end.

Rahn let his instincts take over as he leaned over Tora, kissing her. His lips and tongue acted on their own, as if they had a mind of their own. His hands also moved without conscious thought. One hand moved up to her head and the elbow held him up while he ran the hand through her hair. His other hand slid up and down the side of her body, caressing her gently. He felt her returning his kiss and it made him happy. Her hand was soft on his cheek. He was unable to even think of words that could describe how he felt. It was unlike anything he had ever felt before.

Tora felt his tongue move agaisnt her lips and instantly parted them for him, her own tongue reaching out to touch his. Her body reacting to him as his hand caressed her body, as his other ran through her hair, her body tingling where he touched her. She couln't beleive this was happening to her. Raising her free hand she moved it to his side resting it on his waist.

When Tora parted her lips for his tongue he slid it into her mouth. Their tongues played and he could feel slight movements in her body. Then he felt her free arm move and her hand rested on his waist. He could feel a bulge growing under the cloth of his pants.

Tora's tongue played with his and they continued to kiss. Her body was a mess of tingles and she pulled back slightly, from his kiss and looked up at him. "Rahn," she whisperted, but what she was going to say was forgotten when she saw how much light filtered through the leaves. She started to panic, how long had they been out here. Would the others have realised that they where missing. "Rahn, I think we had better get back, before it's to late," she said trying to catch her breath.

Rahn was dissapointed when Tora stopped kissing him. He smiled as she whispered his name, but then sensed a change in her. She was worried about something. When she said they should get back he looked up and noticed that it was starting to get darker. Tora's brothers would definitely wonder where she was and the others would wonder why they were not there if they missed dinner. Rahn forced himself to roll to his side again and take one last look into Tora's eyes before standing and helping her up. He pulled her close, kissed her, then let her go and started heading back in the direction they had come from. He held onto Tora's hand as they walked with a fairly quick pace.

Tora was sorry she had mentioned anything as Rahn rolled to his side, but she knew that if she didn't turn up to dinner her brothers would go from concerned to worried. It had happened before she had spent the night danceing and then ended up sleep most of the next afternoon hidden away. her brothers were about to tear up the village looking for her when she emerged from her hidding palce. Standing as he helped her up she fond herself in his arms and kissing him, she all most sighed when he let her go but she knew if he didn't they wouldn't get back in time. Following him she smiled as he held her hand as they headed back to the village.

Tora couldn't beleive how far they had come, but was releaved to see the village and the starts of fires as the day was slowly drawing to a close and the smell of food was starting to fill the air. She smiled at Rahn, knowing that weren't too late.

Sitting by the main fire Tan and Ash had strated to worry, Tora hadn't turned up to dinner and hadn't been helping the women cook as she quite often did. Tan had been the last to seen her when she had run of this afternoon. Sol soon joined them with three plates and handed them out to them. Shaking his head when he said he hadn't seen her. "Don't worry, remember what happened last time, she most likly tired herself out last night and has curled up asleep some where. You know what she was like when she was younger and went into hiding it was almost impossible to find her."

When they emerged from the trees he saw fires that were not fully ablaze yet. He smelled the food and hoped they were there in time so that Tora's brothers would not be too worried. He looked at her and saw a smile which calmed him. He smiled back and stopped just before they passed the last tree. He pulled her in close again and gave her one final kiss. It took all the mental strength he had to stop kissing her. He released her from his arms and reluctantly stepped back. He then started to walk back toward the village. He wanted to hold Tora's hand, but knew that is someone saw them, her brothers might try to scare him away from her. He could not handle that.

As they entered the village he smiled at Tora once more and then walked toward one of the cooking fires. He tried hard not to look over at Tora too much to avoid anyone noticing a change in how they acted toward eachother. He started thinking of what he needed to do. He figured that first he had to become friend with her brothers. If they got to know him and knew he was a good guy, hopefully they would approve of him being with Tora. After getting food he sat by the main fire across from Tora's brothers.

As he pulled her in close again and kissed her Tora would have prefered to stay there hidden by the tree. When he pulled away and started towards the village Tora stayed a couple of steps behind and smiled at him as he walked towards one of the cooking fires. She headed to straight to find her brothers and then she would get some food.

Sol was the first one to see her head towards them. "I told you, she would come out of hiding when she got hungry." The other two looked up as Tora joined them. "Where have you been?" Tan asked looking up at her. "I went for a walk, and lost track of time. I am sorry." Tora bowed her head slightly and Tan shook his head. "I am sorry I didn't mean to snap, it's just you had us worried. Have you eaten?" "Nope, I am going to get something now." Leaning over Tora hugged Tan and then went to get soemthing to eat. Noticing Rahn sitting across the fire she smiled at him quickly, unable to help herself. Once she got her food she went and rejoined her her brothers.

Rahn gave Tora a quick smile over the fire and then turned back to eating. He could not avoid looking at her as he ate. He liked to be with her, but he needed to make sure that her brothers approved or else they might do something to prevent them from being together. He hoped it would not take long to become friends with the men, he was not sure how long he would be able to wait to be with Tora. They would still be able to go for walks, but if they went too often then someone might get suspicious.

Tora couldn't help looking over at Rahn as she ate dinner with her brothers. Once the four of them had finished Tora took hers and her brothers plates over. Settling down with her brothers, she knew that it wouldn't be long before people started asking for her to dance.

As more people started to gather around, the brothers collected there instuments and Tora slipped her sandles from her feet. Standing before the fire Tora looked through the fire at Rahn, smiling. Then the music began and Tora started to dance and for the first time while she danced she was aware of something other than the music and the fire. Tonight she danced not only for the dance but also for Rahn. Spinning and twirling.

After the meal Rahn relaxed by the fire at the front of the crowd. A couple of the men came to sit next to him and talk of how well they had done with the archery practice. He barely paid enough attention to them to be able to answer any questions they had. His main focus was on Tora entering the fire light. His eyes were unable to look at anything other than the gorgeous figure dancing by the fire. He barely even heard the music. The only thing that really existed for him was Tora dancing.

Tora danced, spinning and twirling and as she danced she thought of hers and Rahns walk in the forest and there first kiss. Spinning faster and faster becoming nothing but a flick of skirt and hair. Then the music slowly started to slow and then come to a stop, opening her eyes she met Rahn's as she calmed her breething. With out realising it she had stopped right in front of him with in her dancing circle and fire behind her. She heard the others clapping and she smiled at Rahn.

Rahn watched as she spun fast in her dance. She was gorgeous in the firelight. As the music slowed, so did she. When she stopped she was right in front of him. She met his eyes and he smiled happily at her. He was so caught up in her beauty that he didn't even realise he was not clapping, just gazing into her eyes and smiling.

When the clapping stopped she bowed in Rahn direction, though to every one it would of looke dlike she was bowing to them all. Looking over at her brothers as they listened as the crowd made requests for diffrent songs and Tora took a drink from one of the woman standing by Rahan as she offered it to her. She stood there letting the sounds of the people wash over her glanceing over at Rahn every so often.
