Fire Side Dancer

Rahn continued to watch Tora even as she just relaxed, getting a drink from one of the women. He smiled at he happily and waited for her to dance again. He wondered how long she would dance. He enjoyed watching her, but he also wanted to be able to speak to her again, even if it was only saying goodnight.

It didn't take long for her brothers to chose the next song. This one was a slow song and Tora took her place to begin. Tora danced, she danced for another two songs and her then she called it a night. Saying good night to her brothers she slipped between the tents heading to her own. Before she left the fire light she looked over at Rahn and smiled.

Rahn sat and watched her dance until she was done. When she finished he got up and stretched, making it look as if he was about to head right to bed, which was nearly the truth. He watched Tora say goodnight to her brothers before leaving the firelight. the last thinf he saw her do was smile at him.

He then walked off in a slightly different direction, but moved quickly, soon catching up to Tora and aproaching her from the side as he emerged from between a couple tents. He smiled at her as she noticed him. "I just needed to say goodnight to you. You danced very well tonight. You looked beautiful in the firelight. I guess I'll see you in the morning at some time."

She walked slowly once she was away from the others and hidden by the tents. Looking around she saw him emerge from between two tents. She smiled at him, "Thank you, I hoped I would get a chance to see you before I went to bed. I guess so," Quickly she looked around, seeing no one she leaned forward and kissed him.

Rahn happily returned her kiss. He didn't want it to end, but he knew it had to. He slowly forced himself to move away from her and smile one last time at her before walking off. As he entered the shadow of a tent he blew a kiss to her. He then walked to his tent and prepared himself for bed. He lay under his covers and his mind was filled with thoughts of her. He fell asleep happily thinking of her.

Tora sighed when he pulled back and and walked off. Smiling she watched him go and then she saw him blow her a kiss. Turning she went to her own tent and getting ready for bed she curled up on her bed smiling. Her fingers wrapped around her necklace as they always did when she slept. 'Mum I wish you where here to meet Rahn,' she whispered as she closed her eyes her dreams soon a mix between dancing with her mother and walking through the forest with Rahn.

Rahn's dreams were mostly of spending time with Tora, In the dreams they were together in many different places, but the most noticable things was that they were not trying to be secretive about it. When he woke he wished it was that simple in reality.

He got up and dressed himself before walking out into the early morning. The air was fresh and crisp and the sun was just rising over the trees. He walked to the center fire and relaxed for a while, enjoying the smells of food that was starting to cook. A couple times he helped carry large packages of things to the fire since he was up early compared to most others, but he did not mind. He simply waited to see who got up first, Tora or her brothers.

Tora woke up and rolled back over, she didn't want to get up she wanted to remain dreaming. But thenm she thought of seeing Rahn she got up quickly. Getting dressed and ready she left her tent. "Good morning," she heard some one say from behind her, turning she saw Ash emerge from his tent. "Good morning," seh replied as she waited for him to join her. Both of them walked towards the central, Ash telling her what had happeded after she had gone to bed. Laughing as they drew closer to the source of sound and the smell of food. Looking around Tora saw Rahn and was tempted to walk over to him and say good morning but she didn't think it was wise with Ash there. "I had better go see if they need any help," Tora said excusing herself, heading towards the women. "I will bring you over a plate when it's ready okay," she said over her shoulder to Ash, who smiled at her and thanked her.

Ash headed to the main fire to sit and wait for either his brothers or his friends to wake up or Tora to bring breakfast. Collecting his drum from where he had left it the night before. Sitting he slowly beat out a soft tune, listening to the buzz of people.

Rahn saw Tora walking toward the frie next to one of her brothers. He felt a bit dissapointed that he would be unable to at least talk to her for a bit without worrying about her brothers. He also noticed that it was not either of the brothers he had talked to after the hunt. He was stuck just sitting and eating quietly.

It wasn't long before Sol emerged from the tents, to join his brother. Tora saw Sol and brought over three plates to the the fire, while Sol and Ash spoke Tora walked passed Rahn. "Why don't you join us for breakfast?" she whispered to Rahn as she past him. Then quickly she moved over to her her brothers handing them a plate each and sitting down next to Ash.

Rahn sat, eating some food. He was a little surprised when Tora walked by and whispered to him that he should join them to eat breakfast. He waited a minute until she had given her brothers their food and they had started eating. He then stood and walked around the fire pit to them with his own food. "Hi, do you three mind if I sit and eat with you? Its just a bit dull sitting and eating alone."

Tora looked up pretending to be surprised at the same time as Sol and Ash. She had a bit of food in her mouth so she couldn't respond. Sol smiled at Rahn, "Sure, Rahn this is Ash my brother and Tora our sister." Tora smiled and swollowed her food, "hello." Ash smiled, "It's the hunter."

Rahn smiled back at Sol and looked over at Ash as he was introduced. He then looked over at Tora and smiled. As Ash acknowledged him as the hunter he grinned for a moment. "Nice meeting you." He took a seat and looked over at Ash again. "You seem to have heard of my hunting luck yesterday. I don't really think I am any better than you or anyone else, I just had to learn to develop a quick reaction time. Anyone can do what I can with a little practice. From what I saw yesterday, all the men are practicing. I won't be called the hunter for long." He laughed a little and smiled. "I have heard you play your music by the fire at night, it is very good. I also watched Tora dance to your music, you have a talented sister. You must be proud of her." As he mentioned Tora he smiled at her for a moment before returning his gaze to Ash. He wanted to speak more directly to Tora, but he knew he had to focus more on her brothers if they were ever going to get to know him and like him enough to be ok with him courting their sister.

Tora returned Rahn smile. "Call it what ever you want, but you have set the mark and the others are out to beat you," Ash remarked and nudged Sol. Both of them had joined the group of men practiceing and had done alright. "Tora's our little dancer, just like our mother was." Sol said smiling at his sister, Tora blushed and met his gaze and then looked to her brothers. "Our father taught Tan our brother to play the guitar like him and taught Ash and I the drums." "He did that to keep us out of mothers hair," Ash added laughing. "It was also because the two of you would bang on anything you found," Tora said smiling.

((OOC: lol, I realise I made an error in my recent posts. Rahn has met Ash before and I also said something about Ash being oldest even though he is not. It is Tan who Rahn has not met yet.))

Rahn listened intently to what they told him. He had heard most of it from Tora before, but he pretended as if he was just learning it then. When Tora poked fun at them he grinned and let out a small laugh. "Well, my mother taught me everything she could. Nothing about music or dancing though. So you are lucky to have that. I also did not learn anything about the games that are played hear that I have heard about. Maybe you can teach me some today. Would that be ok? Or do you have things to do?" Rahn took his chance to hopefully get to know them better. If they agreed then he would have a chance to befriend them.

((OOC: hehe I thought so but I just continued any way. It's alright Rahn met so many people the other day it can be put down to that. I am also going to apoligise now if some of the games/compations sound lame it's all I could think of.))

Tora's eyes sofened as Rahn mentioned his mother, she quickly looked away suddenly busy with her plate. "I wouldn't call them games, more like compations," Ash said to Rahn and then smiled at Sol, "New meat," he laughed. Sol shook his head at his brother, "Be careful Ash, Rahn looks like he might give you a good fight." By this time Tora turned back, and was smiling, thinking it would be amusing to see this. Ash pulled a face at Sol who just shrugged back. "Well we had nothing planed so sure," Sol said standing up, "I think we can gather some of the guys together and have a day of games." "Whats this about games?" Tan said coming up behins Rahn, rubbing his eyes. "We are going to teach Rahn here a few of the competions that the village do when there bored." Ash said standing up as well.

((OOC: don't worry about the games, I'm sure they will be fine.))

Rahn listened carefully and had figured that the games would actually be friendly competitions. He gave a quick smile to Tora and then held his focus on her brothers. He smiled when they suggested a day of games. It would be the perfect opportunity for him to befriend Tora's brothers. Then someone came up behind him. Rahn stood and turned to face the man. He recognised him as Tora's third brother. "Hey, you must be Tan. I'm Rahn. I asked your brothers about the games played around here. They suggested a day of games. Should be fun." He remembered the greeting he had failed to do properly yesterday with Tora, so this time he extended his hand to Tan.

Tan looked at Rahn and then took his hand. "It's nice to meet you Rahn," Tan looked to his brothers and then to his sister. "Any chance for the two of them to show off," Tan said with a laugh, "Well I am in, sounds like a good day ahead." Suddenly Tora stood up, "well before any body plays anything, you've all got to eat up so you have enough energy. Tan I will get you some thing. Have the three of you eaten enough?" she asked Sol, Ash and Rahn. Ash and Sol nodded and Tora took there plates. Waiting for Rahn's anwer she turned to head off.

Rahn smiled at Tora as she stood and told them to make sure they had eaten properly. She took her brothers' plates and walked off before he could respond. He appoligised to the three men and chased after her with his plate. When he caught her he realised it would be rude to just give her his plate and return to her brothers. It was also an innocent way for him to speak to her without her brothers right there next to them. He smiled over at her so her brothers could not see. "Good morning. Did you sleep well? I think it is going well with your brothers so far."

The three brothers nodded and watched him go, then turned to talking about organising the days events. Tora smiled up at Rahn as he caught up. "Morning," she replied, nodding in response to sleeping well and that it was going well with her brothers. "How did you sleep?" she asked slowing her step slightly. Reaching the women she set aside the empty plates to the side and started collecting food for Tan. "Ash and Sol seem okay with you, well Tan has only just woken up," she whispered to him, trying to look she was busy.

Rahn put his plat aside and grabbed a bit of food to eat quickly. "I slept quite well. As for Tan, hopefully by the end of the day I can get on his good side. I don't think I should ask them about you though. I think it might be best for you to talk about me to them and see how they react." As her hand moved in front of him, he reached out and brushed it with his own and smiled at her. The small touch would probably have to last him a while until he got another chance to be alone with her.

"I hope so," Tora said, "that might be a good idea. I will wait for the right time." At his touch she looked up at him and returned his smile. She didn't like this that they needed to be careful. "I am sorry it is like this," she really was, she had no doubt that he would win her brothers over eventually. But it wasn't fair on him that he had to win them over. Then Tora remembered what she was doing and taking the plate, she smiled at him, "We had better get back to the them." Turning back to head to her brothers she noticed that Tan was the only one there, the other two must have vanished to organise everything, and Tan was looking over at her and Rahn.

Rahn smiled at her and whispered that it was ok. Things would work out in the end. He was sure of that. He turned with her and grabbed one last piece of food andate it on the way back to Tan. He smiled at him and waved a hand toward his food. "You food, m'lord" He then started to laugh. "So, where did your brothers go?"

Tora laughed as Rahn waved his hands at the food. Tan gave him a funny look and then laughed. "Thank you," Tan laughed taking the plate as Tora handed it to him. "The other two have gone to round the men interested" Tan sat down and patted the ground next to him for Tora to sit next to him. Giving her a one handed hug as she did. "So you want to wait with us while those two to get things organised?" Tan asked Rahn as he started eating.

Rahn nodded as he explained where the other two men had gone. He then sat across from Tan and Tora. "Yeah, I'll sit with you two until those guys get everything ready. So, how confident do you nk your brothers are that they will beat me at everything? I'm not so sure they will. I've got beginners luck on my side."
