::As Peorth was deep in her thught, he searched his for some place that Niki would go. Something told him that Alex was involved as that was the usual case when niki couldnt be found. His thoughts soon drifted away as he heard Peorth's voice.::

"Are we there yet?"

::He turned his head from the road and saw the impish smirk on her face and started to laugh heartily.::

Dont you start with that, you know damn well how long it is from the city to the airport. We're almost there.

::Soon they pulled into the airport and went to the hanger that he stored his plane. Parking the car in front of the doors, be got out and opened them seeing that his plane was indeed gone.::

Damn it.....we'll have to see where he was heading. You go check the tower and see about the clearance. He may have said where he was going. Ill check the mechanic's logs. They would have had to do a check over the plane before it could fly. Im sure they marked the destination down...

Peorth

Twenty minuets and some well executed flirting later, I managed to hunt Loki down in the mechanic's break room, chatting with a grease covered guy. Something sexy about that... anyway, pulling myself back, I tapped Loki on the shoulder.
"Loki, they've headed to Knoxville- I've a bad feeling about this."

Alex

After a few minutes of looking over the rental cars road map, Alex figured out his route to the warehouse where he had the things needed for the ritual sent. He used his key to open up the doors to the storage space. Everything looked to be there so they should have all they need. He saw the package on the side that would make it all complete. He reverently opened the package, taking out the sword. He marveled at its beauty for a moment before putting it back in the package.

Taking out his cell phone, he called the contacts that he had made at Fort Knox. Satisfied with the arrangements, Alex drove back to the hotel. He walked up to the room for himself and Juli and opened the door. He pulled her into his arms.

"All is going well. Our contacts will have all the ritual items set up for us by 5 pm tommorrow night. So we need to stall him until then, but with it dinner time now, its only for 24 hours. Then we can release the god within him and the two of you can be reunited. "

Juli hugged Alex, "Thankyou so much for helping me you have no idea how much this means to me. Just think after so many lifetimes my love will finally come back to me."

She didnt know how she was going to be able to get her love back without Alex's help. They never spoke of who they were, or rather are. She never expected anyone to understand. She simply knew that she lived, and when she died that first time in her love's arms, smiling, she just knew that she would live again to be with him and now it was so close to actually happening.

When she was born again, he was no where. Just when she thought that the torment was more than she could bare, she had been killed again only to rise in the same body, she didnt reincarnate into another being like last time. It was the same body. That was when she had gained these extra ablilities.

Now finally after what seemed like an eternity she would finally be reunited with her love and all thanks to Alex.

It was ironic really, she had no idea who he was, or how he came to be an immortal like her, simply that it just was. She never asked, so he never told.

Too excited to stand around, slipped out of Alex's arms and knocked on the ajoining door to Niki's room. When he opened the door, she asked him, "Would you like to join us for dinner?" She stared at him. He really was an amazing man. Just thinking about it made her an ecstatic woman. She knew that he wasnt going to understand it, But once he remembered everything, she just knew he would forgive her for being so secretive.

Yeah, Thats the one..where did it head off....

::The tap on his shoulder turned him to her and he nodded as she said about Knoxville.::

He has my plane so how are we going to get there?

::He couldn't help but shair the same sentament about Niki. He was in trouble.::

Alex's smile was a little strained as he faced Juli. He still felt bad for deceiving her, but he had to take care of Nikos before he became. To think that after all these years, he would finally be able to make sure that his rival would not come back ever again. He stood behind Juli as she knocked on Nikos door, noticing her body tensing in excitement.

I smiled at Loki. "Where there's a will there's a way, lets head back to my place to pick up a few things, okay?"
Once we were away from people, I explained. "I can hop a Yggdrasil transfer to Knoxville but can't take you through it. Only other reliable means of getting there is either driving or a magical steed. Not sure which you'd prefer though..."

::He followed her from the mechanics' office, then listened as she spoke.::

Take the Yggdrasil, I'll meet you there...

::He leaned in and gave her a soft kiss on the lips first, then on the forhead.::

Once in Knoxville you try to find Niki as fast as you can, I shouldnt take too much longer to arrive, but Im not sure where Ill end up....

"Okay, Loki," I said, kissing him back. I handed him a card from my wallet. It was embrossed in silver, bearing my name and an odd phone number. "Call that number, they'll route you through to me. Tell them I said so or else."
I left Loki then with a smile and headed for a camera store. Back in a darkened corner of the store- perfect. I sighed and slipped through the lense, coming out in my own rooms in Yggdrasil. I pulled up a safe jump region scan of Knoxville and choose one near the airport.
I emerged from another camera store into the sunlight, somewhat dusty but otherwise none-the-worse for ware. I shook the dust off an reoriented myself. This was a differnt town, a differnt city, not a place I'd been before.
I sighed and set off to find a hotel room, a map and Niki, whatever the order they may come.

::He left the airport and headed back to his appartment above the Resturant. Once there he packed a bag with a few changes of clothes. As he left the appartment, he grabbed his cell and a handgun, both of which he knew he would need in Knoxville.::
