The red may not be required for humming birds to find the feeder, but you cannot tell me that it would not make for better presentation of the sugar water for the little guys.
Think of it as parsley for birdies.
Please tell me it is not too late to acquire one of these published gems.![]()
My Foodgasms cookbook is here! It's simply gorgeous. I have been flipping through it, over and over, grinning my face off.
Beautiful. Excellent work, Collette and contributors!

Here's the post where I linked the cookbook preview page (you can look through the whole book online) and you order it right there. You can also change the cover design and font/spine color if you wish! Please tell me it is not too late to acquire one of these published gems.![]()

You have the very first recipe in the book, Batchy dear.
Golly, I remember that recipe, it seems like such a long time ago, when it was posted.
Thank you dearlings, the two of you.
I want to do a "Decadent" or "Holiday" Foodgasm, filled with lots of evil goodness. There were so many more desserts I wanted to include in this one (didn't think everyone would appreciate the book being half sweets) and I'm sure all the foodies here have beloved traditional recipes from their holidays. This is awesome! Tati actually PMd me the link, but I have been crazy-busy - even more than the norm as of late - and knew that I would eventually get to it. I was paging through last night and will indeed order after I have had coffee.
I can hardly wait for volume 2.
Free time is fast approaching... I am sure I will have something more to contribute.![]()

Old Leather Boot Soup?

Looks like we'll need to put together a "Healthy" one to balance things out.![]()
Pardon me, powers that be, but when I click on the link to see the list of goodies by contributors, I do not get the second half of the list.
Sucks worse than finding out you are having Old Leather Boot Soup for dindin.
Thank you, lovely lady! I'm not planning to delete it so I think it will be there indefinitely. Just order whenever you like. The book looks pretty cool!! Good job Collette and Tort! How long will it be available for purchase?
I'm glad I was able to add the photos, though I considered putting the AVs of the poster for the ones that had none. Considering some of them, I didn't think it'd be very family friendly. You have a repeat customer no matter what the theme.
I love the pictures!
My daughter came home this morning and was admiring it. "Where did you GET this? This is awesome, I love the title."
So happy when she saw my name up in pastels. I'm sure I'm going to have to make her one of these when (if...she likes the perks of mom cooking) she moves out.

Must I do everything for you? There is a scrolling function to the right of the recipe list, Dear.
And how far does it scroll down, Skookums?
Dearest, there are almost a hundred Foodgasms... there and waiting for your supple fingers.. to explore?
How could you be so cold to me after we shared.. sprinkles?![]()
