For Those Who Might Be Wondering Why We Might Be In Ukraine

For those who think Russia is winning, watch this eighteen-minute video to see why that's not true. Refute it if you can.

Some background on Ukraine's new missile....now tested in combat and going into mass production

Ukraine’s latest wave of drone strikes deep inside Russian territory is shaking the Kremlin—and may mark a turning point in the Russia–Ukraine war. No longer confined to defending its borders, Ukraine is now launching bold cross-border attacks that hit Russian air bases, radar stations, oil refineries, and command centers. The result: growing panic inside the Kremlin, intensifying power struggles between the FSB and the Russian military, and rising fears of internal collapse.

In this exclusive conversation, former Navy SEAL and Kyiv Post Special Correspondent, Chuck Pfarrer, joins the Kyiv Post's Jason Jay Smart to break down:
-- Why Ukraine is escalating long-range strikes
-- How Russia’s air defenses are being overwhelmed
-- Signs of internal disarray in Putin’s regime
-- The FSB vs. Military power struggle intensifying
-- Why this could be the beginning of open chaos in Moscow

This is no longer just a war in Ukraine. This is a war inside Russia.

Some very good points in this clip: esp that Ukraine is targeting key military production facilities inside Russia

What the fuck is this about?

Some made up story by some pro-Putin Brit saying Brit soldiers will have to die to defend Europe.

Altho why any Brit would want to die to defend a country full of Paki's and Pajeets and 3rd world economic migrants who don't give a flying fuck for Britain is beyone me, but they done that to themselves.

For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Chuck him out, the brute!"
But it's "Saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot;
An' it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' anything you please;
An' Tommy ain't a bloomin' fool -- you bet that Tommy sees!

The successful use of a Swedish-donated AWACS system to help a Viper score a killing shot on a Su-35 over Kursk with an AMRAAM missile marks an important turning point in the air war over Ukraine. The orcs can no longer claim air superiority - especially not when Ukraine now likely operates as many AWACS (thanks to Operation Spider’s Web) than Moscow. Other hits keep on coming one after the other behind the front lines that would seem to add up to a full-on shaping campaign being carried out by Ukraine ahead of a counteroffensive planned for later this summer. Wars are never won by sitting behind static lines or through strategic strike campaigns alone. On the ground, the incredibly slow pace and high cost of the few advances the orcs have managed to make belie an army crippled by its own failure to properly adapt. Vulnerabilities are mounting, even if some orc units are getting better at drone warfare. That will happen - but can they scale up fast enough to even stand a chance of catchng up with Ukraine?

Putin is losing this war, but nobody seems to realize it.

So let's go over the latest developments on the kinetic fronts. There’s a lot going on everywhere, which is to be expected as the world order heads into deep winter. But what’s shaping up in Ukraine this summer looks an awful like a duel between the strategic plans of Putin and Zelensky. And Ukraine’s choices will still decide which way the future goes rather more than anything that happens in the USA as Trump leads America into world-wide irrelevance.

Since 2022, Zelensky has gone from a plucky-but-doomed resistance figure to a world leader capable of rattling the Kremlin - literally. Putin, on the other hand, is down to inviting Elon Musk’s father to Moscow to sell the image that Putin is just some kindly old misunderstood grandfather beset by disrespectful and ungrateful children (Trump is playing the same creepy game with his audience). It’s head games like this which lead to Trump insisting that Putin bombarding Ukrainian civilians is somehow justified retaliation for the destruction of dozens of strategic aircraft. It is this, more than anything else that he’s done, which proves Trump's true allegiance. If the old fool is so determined to adopt the Bidenworld delusion that any impacts to Putin’s nuclear might is a step too close to nuclear war, he is too committed to trying to get Putin to become an ally to ever properly support Ukraine. Even out of self-interest.

Meanwhile, as Trump ignores any aspect of reality that displeases him, day after day, Ukrainian fighters get better at their jobs and more essential orc gear is burned to ash. Moscow is losing ground in every physical domain - air, land, sea, electromagnetic - and only remains dominant in psychological warfare. Mainly because of the way the media system works in the so-called free world. I guess it’s got to be difficult seeing the world you thought you knew so well burn away in a few years.

Russia has a fuckton moar valuable assets that Ukraine can target than vice versa (admittedly, those Russian assets are getting less every day).

If Ukraine continues to improve their deep strike capabilities, Putin & the Russians will have some serious thinking to do about continuing this madness.

Slava Ukraini!!!

👍

Another Swiss-owned chemical factory inside Russia targeted. Fascinating that the Swiss will not sell mllitary equipment or ammo to Ukraone vut are quite happy owning factories inside Russia that produce chemicals needed by the Russian munitions plants. The hypocrisy is staggering.

Trump’s open support of Russia is certainly “strange”.

That's what makes me rhink he's been paid off by Russia at some point, or they do have something on him. Tucker Carlson I can understand beimng paid off, he's in the market, like Jackson Hinkle. I did think better of Carslon, but his enemity to Ukraone convince me he's a POS under the facade. Anyone who can read should be able to look at Russian history since 1917 and reaize there's no good coming out of Russia. They are what they are - their entire culture is permeated with that old Tzarist mentality and it hasn't changed. Just new lipstick on the same old genocidal pig.

Trumps historically completely clueless. Anybody who can say that they fought on the same side as is in WW2 jasn't got a brain to think with. Yes, they fought Germany, but NO, they were never on the "same side as us." Churchill said it. "If Hitler invaded hell, I would make at last a favorable reference to the devil." Which is pretty much what happened.

The inhabitants of hell, as it happened, often preferred the Nazis to the Russians. The reasons for which have eluded Trump, because he's an egotistical buffoon.

Ukraine steps up air defense overhaul: Buk system upgraded, S-300 next

Soviet-era air defense systems still in service in Ukraine are undergoing partial modernization. The Buk surface-to-air missile system has essentially been given a new lease on life, states Deputy Defense Minister Brigadier General Anatolii Klochko. "The Buk air defense system has received a second life. Today, it's equipped with different missiles and is already performing combat missions. The S-300 is also awaiting major changes. This work is underway - we’re not standing still. When the time comes, we’ll talk about it. We’ll speak once we see tangible results," Klochko said. According to him, this work is currently "on paper," but he believes that by the second half of 2025, more concrete outcomes will emerge.

The Buk system is a self-propelled surface-to-air missile complex designed to intercept missiles, aircraft, helicopters, and other moving targets. Ukraine operates the Buk-M1 version. As previously reported, the systems have been modified to use AIM-7 missiles. The S-300 is a medium-range air defense system developed during the Soviet era. Depending on the specific launcher and interceptor missile type, its maximum range can reach 150, 200, or even 300 kilometers.

During the full-scale war, Ukraine has modernized and strengthened its air defense with new systems. The Ukrainian military has received advanced IRIS-T, NASAMS, and Patriot systems from international partners. In the summer of 2024, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine needs 25 Patriot systems to fully protect its skies. Zelenskyy also said that Ukraine is ready to purchase weapons and air defense systems from the United States worth between $30 and $50 billion. This includes Patriot systems or obtaining licenses to produce them.
