For Those Who Might Be Wondering Why We Might Be In Ukraine

Is there any reliable and objective source who can give us some realistic estimate of who is winning this war?
War is a political instrument. Wars are won if the political aims that led to them are achieved. At this point, it seems that russia's political goal of absorbing Ukraine by force is not going to happen in the near term.

It appears Putin's original goal was to install a pro-Russian government like Belarus has. That depended on taking Kyiv in the opening days of the war. Ever since then, it has become a border war and will never be anything more. It will go on until Putin gets sick of it.

What Putin wants is to make Russia a world power of the first rank once again. Like it was when the emperors ruled. Like it was when the Communists ruled. The whole world has a common interest in making sure THAT never happens! The Russian nation is not worthy of that role and never was!

The Liguidation of Gen Sarvarov: Moscow’s Most Humiliating 24 Hours

Moscow’s sense of invulnerability has been incinerated. In just 24 hours, the war moved from the trenches to the heart of the Russian capital. A sophisticated car bomb on Yasenevaya Street has claimed the life of Lt. Gen. Fanil Sarvarov, the architect of Russia’s combat training and a veteran of Syria and Chechnya. But while Moscow was reeling, its air defenses were being bypassed 340 kilometers away. Pro-Ukrainian partisans successfully infiltrated the Lipetsk airbase, torching two elite Su-30SM fighter jets inside their hangars. With $100 million in hardware gone and a high-ranking general eliminated, the Kremlin is discovering that distance no longer equals safety. Is this the internal collapse we’ve been tracking?"

Putin has lost another general to a car bomb as Russian officials try to stop US talks from putting the Kremlin regime at risk,

Putin Just Got Some REALLY Bad News

There's big news in Russia's war against Ukraine. Europe just approved a new $90b loan to fund the Ukrainian government for the next two years.. The surface level implications are obvious, but the true significance of this loan goes far deeper than most people realize. I examine everything, and show why this is a game-changing event in the war.

Russia Will Break First Now - Ukraine Secures €90 Billion Loan from EU

Money talks - Russia has lost the war....

Ukraine has struck their first Russian shadow fleet tanker in the Mediterranean Sea. Ukraine continues striking Russian ships and oil platforms in the Caspian Sea. Ukraine has secured a 90 billion Euro loan from the EU to continue fighting the war through the end of 2027.

Kharkiv BREAKTHROUGH: Kupiansk Road Under Fire

A Russian General has vanished from the Kupiansk front after his report to Moscow was exposed as a lie. The commander responsible for the northern sector falsified maps to claim the city was captured, but when Ukrainian forces pushed forward on the P-79 road, they found the defense lines empty. This is a purge. Officers are now being removed for failing to deliver the impossible victories promised to Putin.

In Crimea, the failure is physical. Su-27 Flanker jets were destroyed on the runway at Belbek Airbase, right inside the air defense zone that was supposed to keep them safe. This proves the Black Sea Fleet can no longer protect its own aviation wing. Russia is losing advanced airframes faster than its industrial base can replace them, and pilots are burning on the tarmac.

Moscow is now selling its future to pay for the war. The Kremlin just sold nearly one billion dollars in gold reserves to Chinese buyers to keep the economy moving. A state that sells strategic bullion for oxygen is a state running out of options. Add the leaked audio of soldiers starving on the front line, and the conclusion is clear: the system is breaking from the treasury vault to the trench.

KREMLIN LOST CONTROL: UKRAINE’S RESISTANCE STRIKES INSIDE RUSSIA

As a result of an operation by Ukrainian military intelligence, directly carried out by a representative of the resistance movement inside the russian federation, two russian SU-30 aircraft were destroyed in Lipetsk (5 in total during just one week). And minus one general in Moscow (3 durimg the year). War is back home, to russia.

Putin's Information Bubble.....

While the world watches the high-stakes diplomacy in Florida, a much more dangerous game is being played inside the Kremlin walls. For months, the Russian General Staff has been feeding Vladimir Putin a version of the war that simply does not exist. From claims of total control in Kupyansk to the 'imminent collapse' of Ukrainian defenses, the maps in Putin’s briefings are painted in a triumphant red that the soldiers on the ground never see. But as Zelenskyy records selfie videos in cities Putin claimed were captured weeks ago, the 'Victory Bubble' isn't just leaking—it’s turning into a death trap. This is the story of how the Russian elite have become the victims of their own disinformation campaign.

I never thought I'd hear the Bundeswehr perform the Panzerlied in 2025, wow...thx Putin

This one was from 1983, in the Cold War days - looking forward to seeing this again.....

rasputin most likely wants to bring back the soviet union
No, I don't think he's really a Commie, despite his background in the KGB. What Putin wants is to bring back the Russian Empire -- in territorial terms, not necessarily as a feudal monarchy. In short, what he wants is to make Russia a world power of the first rank once again.

And that must not be allowed. The Russian nation is unworthy of that role, it always was.

Well, why not? We don't expect Germans to stop driving on their Autobahnen just because the Nazis built them. They still use "Deuschland uber Alles" as their national anthem -- which makes sense, as it's a 19th-Century anthem of German unification, not of Nazi imperialism.

I tend to agreed with Wilson here. The USSR was merely a sucessor to the Tsarist Russian Empire under a different name. The Wat Putin wants is to restore the Russian Empire - the Baltic States, Ukraine, Finand, the Caucasus, the Central Asian states - everything that Russia lost.

He is a Russian Imperialist, pure and simple. Russians and Russia hace lg ignored the simple fact that they are one of a couple of the world's sole surviving colonial Empires (the others are Indomeasia - aka the Javanese Empire, and China -altho China has been rather more sucessful in pverwhelming its colonozed regions (Tibet and the Sinkiang) with ethnic Chinese).

Anyhow, the dissolution of the Russian Empire is inevitable - there simpley aren't enough Russians to do to their Empire what China has done - and Russians are people whom, like German Nazis, it's easy to hate. Putin seemd to think most Ukrainians WANTED to be part of Russia, hence his invasion. He really ballsed that one up.
