Jason nodded and then backed out of the parking lot. He quickly made his way to the diner, smiling as it was such a relaxed setting. It was an old mom and pop diner, yet the food was great, low priced, and not that greasy. That was the best part. All the new restaurants seemed to have good food, but were stacked with grease.
He pulled into the diner, finding a parking spot, and then chuckled. "Umm, you might need to throw on a different shirt," he said, looking down at her top. It was still pretty wet, and he could see her stomach, as well as her sports bra. He reached into the back and pulled out one of his shirts, knowing that he kept spares for a reason.
He handed it to her, and then waited as she slipped it on over her other shirt. He chuckled as he looked at her. "It swamps you just a tad, but at least you aren't showing off the goods," he said with a wink, before sliding out of the SUV and moving to open her down.
He opened the restaurant door for her, and then smiled at the waitress. They followed her to a booth and then he sat, stretching. "Okay, first, pick what you want to eat, but then we need to talk about school and softball. So be ready to truthfully tell me what subjects you're failing or struggling in, what you're doing well in, and what you think needs to be improved for softball," he said, looking at the menu.
