Forbidden Relations (Closed)

Regan marveled at how gentle Jason was being with her. On the field be was hardnosed and fierce. Really competitive. But here he was the sweetest man she had ever met. The feel of his hands upon her body sent waves of pleasure throughout her. She winced slightly as he washed the bruised and cut areas of her skin. The bed post had really done a number on her.

She was a bit surprised yet a bit relieved when Jason stepped out of the shower to allow her to finish rinsing. She didn't want to make a mistake in the heat of moment and then regret it.

Once he was out of sight behind the shower curtain, Regan stripped completely. As she washed the rest of her body she debated on telling him what happened.

Taking a deep breath she called out his name. "Jason?" She knew he was right there as promised. "He tried to rape me" she admitted, glad she couldn't see his reaction. "The bastard wanted to have sex with me and when I refused he threw me against the bed post. That's what the bruise on my hip is from. The one on my face is from tripping trying to run out. I hit the wall and door."

Her blood boiled in anger as she remembered now. The sorrow was replaced with rage.

Jason swore as he heard her tell him what her father tried to do. He knew drunks were vile, mean men, but to try to rape his own daughter was something else entirely. He swore softly, wondering how the man that was supposed to protect her could do that.

"You're safe here. I promise you that. I know I can't say anything to make it better, but just remember that you are safe and I won't let anything happen to you," he said, his voice leaving no doubt about that. He knew that if that man stepped foot on his property, the police would be called and Jason would have a bat in hand.

"What can I do for you, aside from hold your towel," he said, chuckling softly to lighten the mood. He didn't want her dwelling and getting even more angry than he knew she was. Anger could be very self destructive, and he didn't want her doing anything rash or dangerous.

Regan relaxed a bit at Jason's promised words. She knew she was safe with him. He was a stand up kind of guy and wouldn't let her down. She laughed softly at his question. Getting closer to feeling normal again she told him to close his eyes as she stopped out and into the soft cotton towel he held.

"I'm ready to eat" she said with a grin. It was an outstanding joke Among her teammates that she had the appetite of a football player but the body of a ballet dancer. Most girls would kill for her metabolism.

She turned to face him and, standing on tiptoe, placed a gentle kiss on his cheek. "And I kinda need to borrow some clothes... I don't exactly have time to pack a suitcase last night", she joked, her old self shining through more and more. If Regan was anything she was resilient. She knew she work be ok no matter what.

Jason smiled as he felt the towel taken from his hands as he kept his eyes closed. He waited and then opened his eyes. "Well, we can wash your delicates, but yeah, you can borrow my clothes. Just expect to do your own laundry," he said with a chuckle.

When she kissed him he smiled. "That doesn't count as your punishment for stealing fries, young lady. Lets get you dressed and I'll fix us some lunch though," he said with a chuckle. He walked to his room, knowing that she would follow.

"Pick what you want to wear and get ready. I need to change," he said, grabbing a pair of boxer-briefs and walking to his bathroom. He didn't realize he left the door open, or that the mirror showed his body as he stripped down and changed. He walked back in just his underwear and chuckled at her look.

"What? You've seen me, I've seen you. We're even. And I'm getting dressed," he said, pulling on a shirt and shorts. "I'll leave you to it. Holler if you need me," he said before going to make a light breakfast for them.

Regan laughed lightly when Jason informed her that the kiss on the cheek was not payment of her consequences. In all of the crazy events of the night before she had forgotten all about that.

"I was just taste testing them to make sure they were Ok" she informed him, following him into what she assumed had to be his bedroom. She glanced around curiously when a thought occurred to her.

Jason went into the bathroom to change. Regan glanced toward the door and noticed it was not closed all of the way. In the mirror she could see every inch of that fabulous body. Every. Inch.

Her hands grew clammy and she dropped the pair of shorts she had been holding. He was gorgeous. Clearing her throat she pulled on the red athletic shorts she had picked out. They were extremely loose so she pulled the strings as tight as she could. Next she picked up a shirt with their school name on it and pulled it on as well.

Just as she did, Jason walked in his underwear. Her mouth went dry and she swallowed hard. Jason went to go cook and Regan sat down on the edge of the bed.

She had a major thing for her teacher and coach. That sucked.

With a groan she got up and walked gingerly to the bathroom where she found a comb and used her finger to brush her teeth sort of. She then walked down to the kitchen and sat to watch him cook.

"Hey Jason" she said quietly. "You don't have a... Uh ... A girlfriend or anything do you?" She asked.

"Nope. My sisters, mom, and the secretary at school, Mrs. Grall, have all tried to set me up with someone, but it never sticks. So I'm just a single bachelor living in a big house. Just a head's up. You might have to get used to some stuff if you are going to be staying," he said with a wink and a smile. He almost always cooked in a shirt and shorts, and then dressed. He had spilled syrup on a new suit when he was younger, and had realized that a pair of underwear was much cheaper than a new suit.

He started pulling off the french toast he was making. He it on two plates and then went to the table. He pulled out syrup, powdered sugar, and fixed glasses of milk and orange juice. He set everything up, so that the two plates were side by side at the little counter top table he had. He rarely used the kitchen table, instead using the high counter top. "Come and get some food," he said, planting himself in a chair.

He looked at Regan and thought for a minute. "Why were you wondering if I had a girlfriend? Even if I did, you wouldn't be getting kicked out or anything like that. I'm pretty sure that when I explained the situation to said imaginary girlfriend, she'd understand and probably try to help. So, to reiterate, why were you wondering?" he said, smiling. He knew that the girls on the team were all wondering, and he had been able to keep them guessing for the most part. He just hoped Regan wouldn't spoil it.

Regan smiled at Jason and sat down beside him at the counter. She took a bite of the French toast and moaned in pleasure. "Mmmm delicious" she said. She took a few more bites before setting her fork down.

"Uh, I was just curious..." She said softly. "Some women wouldn't like very much another living with their man. I mean we ARE only five or six years apart..." She hesitated. "Jason, I don't want to be a burden. I know you're willing to help but I can find somewhere else to go. I don't want to be an imposition."

"And don't worry. I won't ruin your bachelor reputation ... You know, the girls have all taken bets on how many girlfriends you have. They think you have to be a playboy, as good as you look". She smirked and took another bite of the food.

"I'm sorry for the meltdown earlier... I... I don't usually do that... I'm not all that emotional".

Jason smiled at how awkward Regan was. He looked at her and then finally decided to get it out in the open. "I know you have a thing for me. Hell, I know every girl on the team has a thing for me. I think it's part of the reason why you all are betting that I'm a playboy. I'm not, and just enjoying life," he said.

He took another bite of the toast and thought about what she said. "You won't be a burden. I have plenty of room and food. You and I go to the same place every day. You're safe here, I can help you with homework, and we can stay as late as is needed for softball. We are good to go," he said softly. He know she wouldn't be a bother, and wanted her to know she wouldn't be.

"Now, as for the meltdown, no biggie. It was expected, and you needed it. Everyone needs a meltdown every now and then. It makes us human, and is a release valve when life goes too crazy. If you feel the need to do that again, find me and use my shoulder," he said. He looked down at his food and then ate it quickly.

"We have the day to ourselves, and the principal has already started to get you emancipated from your house. I sent a few pictures that I took of the bruises right after you got here to give proof of what happened. I know that might not have been what you wanted, but I want you safe, and somewhere you can thrive," he said, looking at her and smiling slightly, hoping she'd be okay with what he did.

Regan blushed furiously at Jason's words. "I don't know what you mean" she said. "I, uh, I mean.. You're my coach. And my teacher. I can't have a thing for you".

She walked over to the sink with her dishes and began to wash them. She needed to keep busy with her hands. She scrubbed at the plate and then put it on the drying rack.

"It's ok that you did that" she said in reference to the pictures. "I'm never going back there again". She said it adamantly before turning to look at him for a minute. She studied his handsome face, twirling the dish towel in her hands.

"Ok." She said in all seriousness. "Maybe I do have kin of a thing for you... But does it matter? It's not like it could go anywhere. It's against the rules. You could fired. I could get kicked off the team. It would ruin our lives." she blushed, mortified by what she had just admitted. "And besides... I'm sure you don't feel the same anyway so it's no big deal".

Jason looked at Regan when she said she wasn't going back. "We need to make one trip, and one trip only. I assume you own the SUV you drive outright, so we just need to pick up your personal possessions. Other than that, we will never have to go back there again, okay?" he said, letting her know that she at least needed to get what meant most to her from that home.

Jason took his plate to the sink, standing right next to her as he washed his dishes. "You are clueless sometimes. You're an amazing girl, and any guy would be lucky to date you. That does include me, but like you said, it could jeopardize our whole lives. Yes, I would do this for any of the girls on the team, or the kids in my classes, but you are special. You're my girl. You're the girl who I'm hoping will do what I couldn't," he said quietly, smiling at her softly.

He took her hand and gently pulled her into the living room, before sitting down and stretching his leg out. "I was actually one of the top prospects in the country in high school. I could hit a fastball, curveball, or anything really. I was what scouts drooled over to base an organization around. My sophomore year, my second year of playing, I was playing second base, my natural position. It was a routine double play, but against our biggest rivals. The guy went in hard, studs up. His studs caught me here, and here," Jason said, pointing to the scars on his knee.

He rubbed his knee lightly. "I dropped like a stone, clutching my knee. The guy was ejected, and actually kicked off the baseball team for the slide. I was carted in for x-rays, an MRI, and all that stuff. They say I tore, or partially tore, the majority of the tendons in my knee due to the angle of the slide and the way my foot got trapped under his leg. My knee was repaired, but it was never the same. You know that my knee gives out on me at times, and it cut my playing career short," he said.

"My sisters finally got me into a fastpitch softball league, and that's when I found out I could pitch there without really worrying about my knee. That's why I was able to get into coaching. From there, I went to a college that was originally one of the ones I thought I could stand to go to. I enjoyed it, and got my degree, followed by my master's, faster than normal. You know the rest," he said. He smiled slightly before continuing.

"I saw you from the get go as this girl who had the tools, but just needed to be refined. I started working, and found out you were the most coachable girl in the world. From there, we just kind of developed the relationship we have. I meant it when I said I'd do anything to get you into the college of your choice, even if that means keeping you on the field for hours after practice until you hit every pitch I throw, and never miss a ball," he said softly, before sitting back and letting her digest what he said. He wasn't sure how Regan would take all of this, so clasped his hands to his thighs and sat, waiting and wondering what she was thinking, and what she was going to do.

Regan grimaced at the thought of having to go back there. She resented even the thought but knew he was right. She needed her stuff. She would just have to face it.

When Jason said any guy would be lucky to have her she felt herself flush a bit but refrained from comment. Then he led her into the next room and they sat down. What he told her was surprising... But then not really. He was an amazing coach and from what she saw he was a great player- bum knee or not. And she wouldn't admit to how good it felt for him to call her his girl, even if it wasn't in the context she wished for.

"Jason, I'm so sorry... It must have been such a waste for your talent to not make it to the big leagues... And I'm sure you would have. For what it's worth, if you had we would have missed out on a hell of a coach... And friend?" She said softly.

"I can't thank you enough for everything. I will pay to back somehow, someday".

"No you won't because I won't let you," Jason said resolutely. He smiled at her and then wrapped an arm around her. "You don't need to, nor should you, pay me back. I'm just happy to help," he finished, squeezing her shoulders softly.

"As for the big leagues....Eh. I loved baseball, but I'm happy where I am. I get to make a difference in the lives of the future. That's big for me," he said with a smile.

"Now then, what would you like to do today? You have me at your disposal, as well as my house. What tickles the fancy of Regan. And no backing out or hiding. I want to know the truth of what you want to do. Don't say something unless you are 100% sure it's what you want to do, because today is about you, not me. So don't take me into account, just tell me what you want, and want to do," he said with a smile, standing up and spreading his arms to show her that he and his house were at her complete disposal.

Regan thought about his question and grinned.

"Can we do ANYTHING?" She asked. When he nodded she grabbed her phone and began searching for something. Five questionable minutes later she smiled.

"There's available tickets for the game tonight... The Cardinals are playing the Orioles".

Regan was partial to the Baltimore Orioles in the MLB, and she knew Jason loved the Cardinals. How perfect was that? She looked at him pleadingly.

"That would be an awesome way to get my mind off things... As long as you don't mind going with a girl who looks like she got beat up" she said, wincing and laying on the guilt trip.

"But I would have to go to my parents house first" she frowned, obviously disgusted with the prospect. "I need my O's shirt..."

Jason chuckled and then had to enjoy those early interleague games. "Okay, we can go. We will swing by your house. Your parents should be at work, and I can call a police escort just in case they aren't. Mr. West should have already informed the authorities of what happened," he said, thinking about what all they needed to do so that they could go to her place.

"Okay, well, we need to actually get you fully dressed, instead of going commando in my shorts," he said with a wink and a nudge.

He went to pull her clothes out of the dryer, wincing as he saw his shirt in the trash. Oh well. He had others. He shuffled back to her, delicately holding her bra and panties in his hands. "Here," he said softly, trying not to feel awkward about the delicate lace that he was just holding.

"Go change," he said, before going to his room. He left the door open, and heard footsteps, but didn't bother to check, as he stripped fully to change into normal clothes for the day.

Regan nodded in acceptance of his plan for going to retrieve her things. It was for the best. She laughed when he told her she couldn't go commando.

Her eyebrow raised and she grinned. "What makes you think I don't go commando a lot of the time?" She asked playfully. She enjoyed teasing him and having fun. The sight of Jason holding her lace panties and bra made her grin even wider. "Lace suits you" she teased before taking them and heading to her new room.

SHe quickly put on the undergarments and went to ask Jason when he would be ready. What she wasn't ready for was the sight of Jason's gorgeous body completely naked as he prepared to get dressed. Regan froze in the hallway and her mouth went dry while other parts of her body grew wet.

Quickly she back pedaled and went back to her room before he saw her. This was going to be harder than she thought, living with Jason when all she wanted to do was not allowed.

Regan walked to the living room sat on the couch with her feet curled beneath her, waiting for Jason to come in.

Jason dressed quickly and headed downstairs. He walked into the living room seeing Regan curled up in a ball of sorts. "Everything okay?" he asked as he sat down next to her. He wasn't sure how living together would work, and he figured he'd need to adapt, but he hoped that nothing was wrong yet.

He gently turned Regan's head towards him. "Regan, I need you to be completely honest with me while we are here, okay?" he said, making sure she she knew he wanted this to work.

"You have to tell me what you want, and what you need. No being embarrassed, no being afraid. We have to be completely honest with each other. Nothing is taboo or out of bounds for us to talk about, okay?" he said. "So tell me, what's wrong. It seems like you wanted something earlier, but you were afraid to tell me. Tell me, and don't be embarrassed," he finished, waiting for her answer.

Regan gave Jason a brave smile, one that almost reached her eyes but not quite. "I'm fine, really. It's nice being here... It's pretty sad when i feel more at home after one day of living with my teacher, than a whole life with my parents". She laughed humorlessly and shrugged, then stood.

"Are we ready?" She asked. "It'll take a while to load my things into my truck and I'd rather get it over with to be honest".

She had steeled her resolve and was ready to go back to her former home. She prayed her father was working but wasn't gonna get her hopes up. The night before he had been obliterated. He was probably too hungover that day to get up for work- a usual occurrence.

Jason nodded, knowing better than to push her. Instead, he stood up with Regan and then turned to her. "You're always welcome here," he said, before hugging her gently. He rubbed her back softly, and then stepped back.

"Lets go get your stuff. Just be warned, there will be police with us," he said, calling the police station. He was friends with a deputy there, and he said he'd meet them at Regan's parents house.

"We are all set. Lets go, m'dear," he said with a smile, taking her hand and gently pulling her to the car after locking the door. He opened her door and then moved around to his side, before climbing in. "Oh, you still need to pay up. By the end of the day, you had better have payed up, or it will get worse," he said, grinning mischievously

Jason's hug served to intensify her desire. Why did a man as wonderful as him- so sweet, caring, protective- have to be off limits? It didn't seem fair. They walked together out to his car and she climbed in.

Jason warned her of the police escorting them and she nodded, before explaining that her father might be there. Her heart was pounding in her chest as they grew closer and closer.

Too soon they were there. There was a deputy sitting outside in his car and her heart sank as she saw her fathers truck in the drive.

"Shit..." She muttered. Knowing Jason would worry she glanced at him and smiled briefly. "I'm ok" she reassured him. Slowly she got out from the car and waited for Jason and the deputy to join them.

Taking a deep breath she walked up the steps littered with beer bottles and opened the door. Her father was passed out in the chair, snoring. Regan tried to be as quiet as possible to avoid confrontation. She went to her miniscule room and began to pack while Jason and the deputy kept vigil by the front door. She was about halfway done when she heard her fathers voice.

"YOU!" He boomed. "You're the teacher who's fucking my daughter! What are you doing here?!"

Regan hurried to the living room.

Jason saw the man in the chair, passed out, seemingly dead to the world. He and Richard stood watch at the front door, making sure the man couldn't interrupt Regan from getting the stuff she wanted to keep.

"How do you think your girls will be doing this year," Richard asked quietly. He was an avid sports fan, and supported the high school's sports teams, being present at almost every game as a backup security officer.

"I think we can go all the way," Jason answered softly. Suddenly, the big man shifted in his chair and sprang up. Without warning, he rushed forward and hit Jason in the stomach, hard, dropping him to the floor.

"YOU!" He boomed. "You're the teacher who's fucking my daughter! What are you doing here?!"

Jason groaned, and then stood. He motioned for Richard to stop drawing his weapon. He saw Regan enter the room and then looked at the drunk man.

"You need to sit back down in your chair and remain there. After what you did last night, you have no right to talk to anyone about your daughter. You tried to rape your own daughter, and then inflicted bodily harm when she tried to stop you. You're the lowest piece of shit I've ever had the misfortune to see," Jason said quietly, drawing himself up to his full height.

Regan's dad was bigger than he was, but Jason was taller, and in better shape. Regan's dad took a step back, and then started to say something. Richard stepped up and moved behind him, slapping handcuffs on him. "You're under arrest for two counts of assault and attempted rape," he said coldly. Jason watched as Regan's dad was dragged out and heard Richard reading him his rights.

"Go finish getting what you need, sweetheart," Jason said as he guided Regan back to her room, or at least his guess. He was just inside her door when his knee suddenly gave out. He spun around, landing on his back as he pulled Regan down by the hand that was holding hers. He wrapped his arms around her, keeping her from getting hurt as he hit the ground.

"Oww," Jason groaned, before looking up at Regan. They were practically forehead to forehead. He gently moved the strand of hair in her face, and then leaned forward and kissed her cheek softly. "That's for knocking me over," he said jokingly, trying to lighten the mood. He looked up at her, seeing something else in her eyes, and wondering what she would do, whether she would move off of him, or if he would see what that something else was in her eyes.

Regan watched, horrified and speechless as her father rushed Jason, knocking him to the ground before anyone could react, followed by the police officer cuffing him and dragging him off to the squad car. It all happened so fast she could barely process it.

She watched, in a daze, as Jason approached and led her back to her room again. The only thing that snapped her out of the state of almost shock she was in was when Jason's knee gave out, knocking them both down. Jason spun and took the brunt of the impact as they hit the ground. Regan felt a stab of pain in her injured side but nothing horrible.

Jason gently kissed her cheek, then surprising her with his joking words. She had expected him to be livid about her father. She looked down into his gorgeous eyes, forgetting every reason why she shouldn't do what she was about to do. It was wrong but she needed to; she needed him.

Slowly Regan leaned down and placed her soft lips upon his, gently. The kiss sent a shockwave of pleasure through her body. She only prayed Jason wouldn't reject her. She wasn't sure she could handle it at that point in time.

Jason was shocked that Regan kissed him. He didn't kiss her back right away, but then realized that this didn't feel as weird as he thought it would. His arms just wrapped around her as he pulled her in, kissing her back. He didn't know how long they stayed like that, but he broke the kiss slowly and gently, smiling as he did that.

"Wow," he whispered softly. He squeezed her gently, and then rolled slowly, before standing and helping her up. He pulled her in again, and then kissed her softly. "Lets get you packed up, before we get into trouble. We need to talk about this when we get back home," he said. He smiled to let her know he didn't have any kind of a problem.

Jason watched Regan packing, seemingly in a daze. He knew she was an adult, she was indeed 18. He knew that the school would have his ass on a plate for having relations with a student. He knew what he should do, but something just felt right about her.

He couldn't help but smile as he helped her load her stuff into his truck. Richard had driven her dad down to the precinct, and he just continued helping her, before putting the last box in the back seat. He held the door open, before hugging her and helping her in. He climbed into his SUV and then smiled softly at her. "It's over now. You'll never have to come back here if you don't want," he said softly, clasping her hand and starting to drive back to their house.

Once the kiss broke Regan was terrified Jason would be furious with her. But he seemed ok with it, if the wow had anything to say about it. He helped her up and instructed her to finish packing. They would talk about it later.

Regan packed her last few boxes and bags as then together they had it loaded up in his truck. As they drove away, Jason clasped her hand in his and she squeezed it, silently thanking him for the support.

She was quiet the whole ride, merely listening to the radio and pondering over the fact that she officially no longer was a part of her "home", no matter how broken it was. Her new place was with Jason, and that was exciting yet scary. She decided she needed to get a job, to help pay for things but she would broach that with Jason later.

They pulled up to his house yet again and unloaded her things, taking them into her room. Once they were done she flopped on her back on the bed and stated at the ceiling quietly. She wasn't upset just... Contemplative.

Jason could tell that Regan was thinking as they were driving back to their house. He wasn't sure how she would take being out of her home for the rest of her life if she chose. He just drove in silence, squeezing her hand every now and then to let her know he was there for her.

They parked in the garage, and then he helped move stuff into her room. He smiled. It really was her room now. There was no doubt about it, and that was a fact.

"Okay, you can sort everything out later," he said as he saw her flop down onto the bed. He leaned down and then sat against the bed, sitting of the floor. He took her hand, leaving his hanging off the bed, before thinking.

"Regan, where do we go now. I know for a fact that the school board would move to fire me if we were found to have a relationship, yet something about that kiss felt right. I don't know what to do, or where to go. What are your thoughts, sweetheart?" he asked her, rubbing her hand softly with his thumb.

Regan felt Jason take her hand and smiled to herself. It felt absolutely perfect. Jason's words were true. It was a scary prospect. But he was also right in saying that it felt right. When he called her sweetheart it was the best feeling in the world. Like 50 giant butterflies had taken flight in her stomach.

"I don't know" she whispered. "It's so complicated. I could never ask you to risk your job I mean, it's your livelihood. But I want to. I want to ask you to forget all the consequences and give me a chance. Let me be with you. I need you. But I can't ask that of you".

She sighed softly and squeezed her eyes closed. She had the sudden urge to hit about 500 balls... But she wanted to finish this conversation. She had to have an answer.
