Yeah I thought so too. Even predicted to friends that owned a video and music store when it came out that it would be a hit about two weeks before it rocketed up the charts here in the states. It did hit #1, but even Rolling Stone magazine hated it according to this:

Oh well...I liked the Village People and The Partridge Family too...so what do I know about music?

Man, Sir Paul killed with that performance! Thank you. I had never seen that version before and that song is my favorite Bond one also...just for the memories of who sat beside me in the theater watching it and how we ended the evening out.
